My iphone 4s is not responding to anything

My Iphine is not responding to anything. The apple icon is on the screen but i can't turn it on or off. What should I do?

Try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem, try recovery mode... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

My iPod is not being recognized by iTunes. iPod seems disabled and not responding to anything. Permanently on "do not disconnect". Not sure what to do.

    Hello,
My iPod is not being recognized by iTunes or internet
explorer. It used to, but not anymore. It just
dosent show up when I connect it to my computer.
Also, the "do no disconnect" sign does not appear on
my iPod when I connect it. It is still able to
    recharge, though.
have u tried a different usb port?
I read that I have to restore it. I have tons of
songs in my iPod that I do NOT want erased! How can
I back these songs up? I have some songs on my iPod
that are from another person's computer, so if they
get erased, the songs are gone forever.

  • IPod Click Wheel Not Responding to Anything

I have the iPod click wheel 40 GB and it is not responding to anything. When I hit any of the buttons, an apple appears on the screen and then changes to a picture of an iPod with a sad face and an exclamation mark. This website also appears at the bottom. I have tried all of the five Rs and the iPod is not responding to anything. The battery will not even run out. What can I do?

try dropping it or hitting it. worked for me. i was about to buy a new one and i read a forum here that had many people posting that they just gave it a good whack and worked fine again.

  • Iphone 4 server not responding message

iphone 4 - "server not responding" message is coming up on my wifes ph.  can anyone help ?

It sounds as if accessing data via cellular was not working. That could have been for any number of reasons, but she would need to check and see if she is seeing signal for the phone, and that besides the signal strength and carrier name in the upper left corner, she should be seeing 3G or something else. This lets you know you are accessing the data network. It could be poor signal not allowing connection, it could be a bad link that would not allow a website to open, any number of things. If it is still not responding, then try a reset. Hold the sleepwake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if it is working.

  • My iPhone 4s is not responding to my Apple ID

My iPhone 4s is not responding to my Apple ID and I have to order a new password every time I use my iPhone. What is wrong and why do I have to order a new password all the time? And when I do type it in it only says that I wrote the wrong password. This problem started when I updated my phone to iOS 7.1.2

Try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I AM ASKING THAT I TRIED TO UPDATE MY iPHONE 4 BUT NOT RESPONDING PLEASE I NEED MORE HELPING

If you are rying to update an iPhone 4 that now has iOS 4.3, you must connect to a computer with iTunes, start iTunes and select the iPhone from the list of Devices on the left side of the window.  Then in the main Summary window select Software Update.  The process will take a rather long time, up to half an hour depending on the speed of your internet connection.

  • IPhone 4s will not respond

My iPhone 4S is not responding. It is on but my alarms won't go off, I cannot access my settings, wifi is not being detected but it says there is no intent connection when it's on 3G. It also will not turn off and cannot be reset. I also cannot send SMS or iMessages. I've been charging my phone for 15 mins and it still reads 89%. I cannot even access Siri.
I bought it 2 weeks ago, the week after Christmas, and oddly enough just purchased the apple care plan last night. This morning I've been experiencing problems for the first time.
    Any suggestions?

Have you tried basics from the manual?

  • My screen on iphone 5 goes black and and will will not respond to anything , how to fix that ?

my screen on iphone 5 goes black and will not to respond to anything , can someone tell me how to fix this problem . thanks in advance !?

I just replied in your other post
To solve most of iPhone os problems you can perform a soft reset which will not change anything inside the phone
    It'll simply remove the errors
    To do that
1.Hold power button for 5 seconds
2.without releasing power button press home button and keep both pressed till the apple logo comes up
    3.Now release both buttons
Your phone has now been reset
