i have got iphone 4s and my screen or lcd full of dark due to fall down floor and i can receive call ad whe i press to siri button it says" i am really sorry about it i can take any request ow please try again later" so can i repair my iphone in any apple store in uk. and otherthing when i bought this phone my network provider didt say about any insurance thats why i really really worry about my iphone cause it workless now for me.
so can u describe me or what i have to do for repair ??
Take it to the Local Apple Retail Store make a Genius bar appointment first ( Strongly advise not going through your carrier )
They will exchange for a refurb unit identical to yours assuming the hardware is damaged at a cost of £146 as an out of warranty repair over the counter

It seems this problem is caused by the software to increase the readibility of upper letters (clock battery etc.) It be nice to leave us the control of choosing background letter color too if we are using brighter images or darker images.

Do you have a recent iCloud or iTunes backup? If so, just plug your phone into iTunes, restore the phone and bring your backup back by following the prompts on the phone.
If you didn't back up your phone before attempting to update, you may have lost all your photos and other data on your phone. If you restore the phone through iTunes, it will most definitely wipe your phone of all data and reset it to factory settings.

I am not able to open any app on my iphone. While i'm trying to open an app it just shake the screen and it does not open and remains in the same screen. It worked fine until I charged the phone this evening. After that suddenly I'm facing this. Please can anyone help me to recover this issue? pls!

A restore does. If you are using the iphone as designed, then everything should be on your computer. -
How do i deactivate a device through icloud if the device is broken and i am unable to turn on find my iphone? Also i do not own a apple id as ive been using a family members due to problems when trying to make one?

Is there a dark-red pixel in the middle of my ipad 2 screen, I 've just it for 6 days. After that I went the store (Thailand) to turn it, they told me that it's a dead pixel and Apple won't replace it to the new one - there must be more than 3 to claim. How can I do?
The store guy told me I should go Apple Service Center. The Center's staff kept my ipad and told that replacement depends on Regional office at Singapore.
She also blame me that "Why don't you look for dead pixel before you brought?"
What !!! Dead Pixel is the fault of Apple Factory, but she said like I'm so stupid to brought a dead-pixel ipad.
"If you want me to do something on your case call to Singapore by yourself" she said.
After I called to Singapore, I found myself the staff there treated me so bad and confuse.
1. The first guy at Singapore said "Because you 've just brought it for 6 week you can choose between replacement or refund, but leave me your numbers we will call you back."
2. Shortly, a rude guy called me - said to me about Bright and Dead Pixel - then said "It's not our authority to replace ipad for you, you paid your money for our dealer (Store in Thailand), so you must ask for resposibility from them. "
What !!!!! He treated me like I'm not a customer. Store and Care Center in Thailand told me it ups to Singapore, but Singapore told me not.
Who lied? However, I'm still Apple Customer. Whatever country I brought it, I paid for Apple product. Where are thier responsibilities?
I hope, Apple U.S. is my last resort.

Do you live near an Apple retail store? That may be your best bet. It certainly worked for me: I ordered mine online and when I noticed an air bubble embedded in the glass, I brought it to my local Apple Store and 15 minutes later walked out with a replacement. No fuss whatsoever. -
I have an irritating line on the screen of my 4th gen ipod touch going left to right. It starts out as a blue line (with bright backgroung) or red line (with dark background). Switching backrounds will also switch the color of the line. Sometimes it stops halfway the screen. Sometimes the blue/red line becomes white somewhere halfway the screen and continuing as a white line to the other side of the screen. It mostly starts out as a normal screen and when using the blue/red line appears and when using some more the white part appears.Mostly in the beginning the line starts flickering and becomes more steady after a while.
I have searched on the internet but can only find info on some pixels acting weird (stuck/frozen/dead pixels). This is a whole line of pixels not doing what they are supposed to do.
Anyone an idea what this could be and how to solve it?
Thanks,Did you ever fix this? My daughters is the same. Treated with tender loving care, we reset to factory and it disappeared but was back again after 2 or 3 days. Still in warranty so going to take to the genius bar, however a bit concerned that because it belongs to an 11 year old they are going to assume she's damaged it.

It sounds as if AT&T has already told you they can't do what you want. It doensn't sould like anything that's fixable on your end.

My iphone is gray or black it is functioning but you can not see the screen so I can not call or text or anything, I have a child that is very ill and I have to have access to a phone at all times can someone help me? It happened one other time when I plugged it in to my to listen to music. I know it is working it said something on voice control. I tried the press the circle button and the top button but the screen only turned white?
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order -

Try pulling down the spill level and reducing the spill tint. You're probably going to have to tweak the color selection manually. -

Bring your phone and $199 to the Apple store for an out of warranty exchange of your phone. You clearly broke it when you dropped it.

Restart your phone by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button until it starts back up.

Dear Sirs,when i use the computer updating my iphone to ios 7.1,suddenly black out.The computer has no power and my iphone does not work and keep display the screen saying the iphone need to connect to itunes. So when i connect my iphone to iTunes, the computer says"itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes"

hopelessIf you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

As I said, It's now frozen and I cannot use my iphone basically. WHen I turn it back on, it goes to the facebook screen. It doesnt go the the lock screen first. I've tried to shut it off but thats kinda hard because my lock button is broken. Please Help!
You need to reset the phone, but that requires a functioning on/off (lock) button. Time to visit Apple.
