My iPhone 4S suddenly stopped synching with my Outlook after I downloaded latest updates. I get this message: iTunes unable to load provider data from Synch Services. Reconnect or try later. What to do?

My iPhone 4 suddenly stopped synching to my Outlook 2010. This may be a result of downloading the recent iPhone and iTunes updates. I get this message: "iTunes unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try later."  Another message tells me to delete the back up data on my computer as it is corrupted. I cannot locate this back up data. What should I do?

got that once a reboot and it was fine again
