My iphone 5 suddenly wont fully boot...it stuck on the apple logo and goes of after 20 -25 secs and comes on by itself after a minute or two but still stuck on apple logo..also i am able to see a bit of lighting on the dark screen whenever it goes of
my iphone 5 on the ios 7.1.2 suddenly wont fully turn on...it gets stuck on the apple logo and stays like that for approximately to 90 secs then goes blank but I can see a bit of lighting behind the dark screen....it goes off by itself and comes on by itself trying to boot but still gets stuck on the apple logo after the dim light shows....when I connect to iTunes my phone can only be recognised only in recovery mode thus if I force it into recovery mode. My main worry is I don't have a back up of any of my data...on icloud I have just less than 2GB of my data which is as a result of incomplete back up...HOW CAN I GET THIS PHONE WORKING AGAIN WITHOUT LOSING MY DATA...if I can only just recover my data I would really appreciate it as I really need almost everything on it back...if I can only get retrieve my data and lose the phone I wouldn't mind at all....Anybody know how to resolve this??Kind Regards

I'm a Windows XP convert... switched to an imac about 4 months ago and am LOVIN' it As a graphics designer I did use a feature on my Windows machine which I really miss on my mac... beaing able to see a preview of one of the images in a folder on top of the folder icon. In other words, in Windows, you can see the first image that is inside the folder as an icon on the folder itself. Is there a way to do this on the mac? Maybe some software program that will do it? It would be brilliant if Apple could make picture folders behave like events in iPhoto. You could see a photo on the folder, and also mouse over it to change pictures.
But no, there's not an application I'm aware of that does this. You can manually make a picture the folder icon, but it's a tedious process.
Unfortunately this is another example of how dated and worn out the Mac's interface is. The concept of using a file folder as the icon for a directory of images is so 80's. You could use coverflow, but that only helps once you're in the directory itself. Or use iPhoto or Aperture, although they just do photos. Or try Lyn as an alternative: it has a sort of iTunes-like interface, and makes it easy to organize photos without having to put them in iPhoto. And it can display photos that are already in Libraries.
But you'd probably need a Finder alternative. I use Leap, which displays any type of document. It also does tagging, which is another huge omission in the Finder. More like Windows Explorer (although still no photo on folder icons).
Another very stylish Finder alternative, especially useful for pictures, is FileBrowse. I don't know why it hasn't gotten more attention. It DOES put photo previews on the folders it shows. And allows one-click expansion to show the photo enlarged. It's super fast, and even allow you to group/sort by camera or flash! It really has to be seen to be appreciated. I downloaded the IOS7 and I recently started seeing that every tim I revived a message everyone would be able to see it, I tired looking for the I'm not sure what to call it in messages, where no one can read my messages unless I open my phone. Any help? I really don't want anyone ready what I get from other people, its emrassing, when I get a text from someone and it's personal, and someone could go look at my phone while its charging and read the message. Please help!!!! How do I disable it, If I can.

You may benefit from disabling Show on Lock Screen for Messages and Mail in Settings -> Notification Center -> Mail/Messages.
You can disable Show on Lock Screen for a particular app in Settings > Notification Center > <app name>.

Yesterday I was able to take photos but around 9pm last night my rear camera stop working. I have reseted my phone and have also restored it and the camera still is not working. Also I have deleted all apps that can have access to the camera and i have updated the new IOS.What else should I do ? Is this a hardware problem?

I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

On RZ04 (I am not able to see my spool work process in the list...)

Now I am trying to define operation mode using rz04. But when I define the number of dialog and background work porcess according to day time or night time. I am not able to see my spool work process in the list. It looks like:

Yes, I have set the rdisp/wp_no_spo on the instance profile and restarted the instance after update.
Now, I check the value of rdisp/wp_no_spo in RZ11.
It shows like:

ProfileVal______ 1
Current value____ 1
So, Plesae tell me how to resolve this issue.

I 'think' my Ipod Touch is in recovery mode and people say to hold the power and home button for 10 sec and i did, but its still not turning back on. Plus its dead and wont charge. PLZ HELP ME!!!!
- If in recovery mode the screen will have an iTunes logo with an USB plug.
- Have you tried connecting it to your computer for a n hw and then see if it appears in iTunes. If it does restore the iPod.
- If screen is blank, try placing he iPod in recovery mode and then restoring. For recovery mode:

If I were to drag and drop files from an OSX 9 onto an external hard drive (1 TB), assuming there is still plenty of space left, will I be able to use this same external hard drive to back up my iMac (Mountain Lion)? And would it ask me if I want to initialize (thus erasing it) or eject the hard drive like the OSX 9 did?
I was trying to follow this thread because I was curious about the OS 9 installation - until I realized you have another thread going about the very same subject, albeit with a different subject line.

When using bbbc I player the screen goes black after 30 secs and only get audio. I have latest version of the app and also tried via web browser. Any advice it is so frustrating
Is this an app bbbc? IF it is I would contact the app developer and see if they can resolve the issue for you.

On my ipod touch 5 i can see clearly a red light inside the screen on a dark background and i can faintly see the red light on a dark background what is the light, i don't know help me!

I just turned on my Apple Macbook pro. Whenever, I turn it on, the progress bar comes with the Apple symbol and after few secs, it turns off by itself. Safe mode on start up does not work either...any ideas?

Perhaps the iPad is a better device for you, although such small tools are not the best for those who cannot see well.

Stuck at 70% wont fully boot up
Hello everyone, I am currently having an issue with my blackberry not fully booting up. I have read through multiple outdated threads, which refer to a re installation of the OS . I do not get any kind of error or white screen when booting up. My phone starts to booth up as if i did a normal battery pull and just stops at about 75%. I left it for about an 1 hour and nothing, removed the sd card, sim card and nothing. I recall whatsapp being the last app that I downloaded. I really don't want to reinstall the OS as I have not done a backup for quite so time( I know its my fault =[ ). I really hope there is something that can be done to get my phone up and running again.
