i plugged in my 18 month old iPhone to charge it, using the cable that came with it and that I have used regularly all along. I got a warning on my phone screen saying the cable is not certified and may not work properly with my iPhone. Why?

If you updated iPhone to iOS7, it now checks for real Apple Lightning Cable. Your cable may not be Apple, or someone swapped another cable with yours. Make sure the cable end is clean, take a clean dry toothbrush and carefully clean charging port on the iPhone.

Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

Most people have no problems with installing firefox as an upgrade, but there are quite a few things that can cause problems. Please have a look at the articles

Post back after you read them and say what you tried. Have you ensured you used an admin account, possibly needing to check the UAC setting, and that security software is not blocking the changes. You should certainly try starting in firefox's [[safe mode]] either from a menu/icon option or by holding the shift key as you attempt to run firefox.
Is the browser icon you see on the desktop, and a firefox icon ?

I have been using Firefox for the past 5 years. I have regularly updated it and have had no problems, however today all of the sudden I receive a message stating "Sorry, you are trying to use Google Calendar with a browser that is not currently supported. Press okay to view a read only version of your calendar.Press cancel to continue loading and hope for the best!" I don't understand why all of the sudden this is happening. We have no way of knowing what goes on on your machine. All we can tell is that your iPhoto library is missing and iPhoto can't find it. If you can't find then I the only thing you can do is restore from your Back Up.

Which signature style are you talking about?
You can go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that works for you .

I have not run into this yet with my AA9 and Win7, but have been seeing posts about it. I would try a repair before I would do an uninstall and reinstall. You might also turn off javascript for a bit in case there has been some javascript that has caused problems (ok, making wild guesses). If you do decide to uninstall, be sure to deactivate first, uninstall, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, and remove any left over parts of the Acrobat folder. Then proceed to the reinstall and updates.
There is a question about whether being able to use it is correct, or you are just getting some message that is a spam that somehow got into your system (again, a possible javascript issue). Besides turning off javascript, you could also try isolating the javascripts to moving them to a temporary directory and seeing if one is causing the problem.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use your device again. Finally, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and make a backup. The device will be backed up when it's plugged to the charger and connected to your network

I use drafts to store documents and sent in a leser capacity - Ihave huge data in drafts. Tried to restore using time machine (never had to before). The backups are there but the restore button does not highlight??? So when you clickit nothing happens.

Restoring Mail is complex. Luckily, the late James Pond left us an illustrated guide:
