My iPhone Has Frozen
My phone froze so i tried hard rebooting it. The apple logo was there for about 30 mins and nothing happened. At the time i was installing sprite from cydia and i was respringing after the install. ive tried using redsnow to solve the problem in different ways such as using the tethered boot mode and recovery fix. i also tried restoring it to 5.0.1 using an ipsw file on my computer and it gave me an error. nothing i try works and i have been sat here trying for almost 5 hours.. HELP?!

a reset, no data loss. hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Did you try holding the power button and home button until the apple logo appears?
Are you able to connect to itunes? If you can, back it up and restore.
If nothing else, take it to the apple store and have the genius look at it. If they can't resolve it then they will likely to replace your phone. -

Iphone has frozen after trying to down load ios7
I tried to update my iphone 4s to ios7, then it said that i had to go on to itunes. I then went on to itunes to restore and update. It then said there was an error and the iphone froze while was waiting it to up load and it has been this way since. can anyone help!. oh and not sure what operating systems it is.

After battling with the upgrade all night, at 4 AM this morning, I finally had it all installed, so I attempted to sync it and put all my songs back on, this is where the BIG problems started! It was half way through syncing, when it ejected itself, SOMEHOW! This cause the phone to freeze, I reset it and it is now frozen on the startup screen with the apple logo, a constant reminder of how they've let me down! And now, when I plug it into to my PC it comes up with an error warning with the number 0xE8000035 and windows says there is a Hard Drive malfunction!
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It will happen again. I had the **** phone lockup on the startup screen twice in one day (lucky I had my macbook to restore) and I paid a visit to the genius bar.
Guy restored my phone and said that was it. I asked him how so, that is not a normal issue. He told me that my copy of the phone's firmware I downloaded from the server must be corrupt. I begrudgingly took the phone home.
After having it lockup three times in the week since I got it back, I'm going back to the store tommorow to have it switched out. I'll be that ****** off, rude customer who will give them sh** until they swap my phone out. I'm very unhappy with apple as a company right now, all they do is stall fixing the problem by doing an instore restore and sending you home, hoping you won't come back. I don't care if I have to cancel my contract, I'm not dealing with this problem anymore with this phone. I can't be going entire days without any contact as a manager in a retail store.
My question to the experts is:
COULD this be hardware related? Somehow the phone is not reading the firmware correctly and causing this problem. That's how I'm seeing the problem... -

When you say you rebooted I assume you did the following
RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost). -
My 4s iphone has frozen up and it will not turn on or off. I have deleted the old itunes and reinstalled new itunes. Then I tried to restore but to no avail. It just keeps showing itune symbol and the usb plug on the phone.

I uploaded the ios6 3 days ago and since then my iphone has frozen and now keeps turning its self off and starts rebooting.its shows that the battery needs charging and then the apple signs appears and stays for about 5 mins then its flashs,turns off and then bck to the charge process what else can i do?

The problem is that it got wet while it was under power, this most likely will have caused a short between parts of the circuitry that normally are separated. It may (if you stop using it while there is some moisture left inside it) revert to normal operation, frankly I doubt that very much.
Take it to Apple for diagnosis, you can avail yourself of a 'non warranty replacement' while you are there, if needed. -
My iphone has frozen on my alarm clock page, but i can still use siri and take screen shots, however though it wont allow me to turn it off in order to restart it or return to my home screen?
Its all good now, fixed it by holding down the lock button and home button for about ten seconds so it rebooted it up (Y)
