It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

Leaving PSE out of the picture, temporarily, do your devices show up in Windows Explorer and can you copy images from them to a folder on your computer's drive?
First you want to disable the Photo Downloader. To disable the downloader, find the little camera icon on the bottom right hand side of the Windows taskbar, right click on it, and you should be given the option to disable it.
Next, click on "Start" on Windows task bar, open the "All programs" list, find "Scanner and Camera Wizard" in "Accessories." This program - Scanner and Camera Wizard - will be the default program you use to download photos from iphone to computer. Every time you connect your iphone with your computer, you should be given a dialogue window where you can pick the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" program to download the photos. Once selected, the program will take you through a step-by-step wizard to download the photos. Within the process of downloading, you can select folders or create a new folder for the photos. In my opinion, making a new folder makes it easier to import them altogether into photoshop organizer where I usually do the "Smart Fix" for all the photos.
Once you have the photos downloaded, open up Photoshop's organizer interface, go to "files," and then "Get photos and videos." Here you will select "from files and folders." Locate the folder where the photos are stored, and then import them directly into Photoshop. Now, you should be at where you usually land if the photo downloader was working properly.
Also do check if you have updated the software to te latest patch.Go to the Editor menu and click:
Help >> About Plug-in >> Camera Raw
You should see a pop up with the version number.
Press Esc to close.
Help >> Check for updates
to install the latest patch. -
my apple id was disabled, and i reset the password but it still says its disabled. Has anyone solved this problem?
I solved that particular problem for myself (although I am running iTunes 11 under Snow Leopard on an iMac) by deselecting one of my Users Admin. privs. You see, I had two users w/admin privs & iTunes now plays nicely when there is only one admin.
Otherwise, I would keep getting stuck in an "infinite loop" of resetting passwords over & over and still iTunes was a mess - albeit on an intermittent basis which was absolutely driving me nuts!
I also think that firing up Safari and signing into my account @ apple first seems to help; providing that an apple cookie gets placed in my machine before I go to the iTunes store and enjoy surfing around there.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

My ipod Nano generation 7 shuts down unexpectedly while using the NIKE app, has anyone experienced this problem?
This is not a problem I have only had with 7th gen. iPod. I have had this problem with the 5th gen. It goes back a few years. Nike and Apple are aware of this. Nothing has been done. It appears that when the iPod voice commences (whether to update you on the status of your run) and you touch a button to prompt a mileage update or song change yourself (or even brush the device wrong when taking off a jacket), the operating system overloads and cannot sort it out. It then shuts down and reboots. Your mileage is lost. So sorry. Have a nice day.
Love the other aspects of running with a nano (small and light weight). I can keep it high and dry and out of the way. Like the software. Use it almost everyday. Hate the unknown dropped runs. I have logged over 2,000 miles with these devices. Today I lost another 3 miles - probably the 30-40th time it has happened. Frustration is somewhere between time for another device to time for another system - Map My Run indeed!
This probably occurs with my iPod once or twice a month. Went to the Apple Store - three times. The first time was maybe two years ago and they first tried some magic dust and then on the second visit, they swapped out my nano - it was a bit flimsy. The problem returned. I then upgraded. The problem returned. The third time they did a reset and it seemed to help. Then, it returned. But to download an older software version, verify the fidelity of the UBS cable, jump from computer to computer, make a trip to the Apple store, and perform so many two steps on one leg just to get what we paid for seems . . . well, lame. And, Apple told us the thingy would work using all the different computers and software (Vista, Nike, etc. etc.).
Oh, one other thing. The Apple Store told me to complain to Nike. Nike said their software is fine. This is like dealing with General Motors or the government - but, worse. Not my problem man. See the guy over there. Got it.
I note that no one from Apple is jumping in the chain here with a fix. So much for customer exuberance. Generally like Apple. We have about 20 Apple devices in our family (desktops, portables, phones, pods, tablets) and are lining up for the watches . . . but, maybe Apple is an idea who time has come and gone, . . . like the wind. -
has anyone experienced this problem: I am editing in FCP 7.0.3 on a Mac 10.6.8 - I have a clip in the browser that is full frame and fine and it matches the other clips in my bins but when I drop it into the time line it becomes a fully zoomed in version of itself and I can only see a small portion of the image. What's going on? I've noticed this has happened in the past randomly with other clips and it's driving me cray cray! Any help appreciated greatly and thanks in advance for taking the time
In the FCP Browser, click on the source clip that is showing up sized incorrectly to select it. Once it is selected, type Command + 9 to see the item properties for the clip. Either report those properties here, or take a screen shot of the item properties and post the screen shot here.
Next, click anywhere in your sequence timeline and then type Command + 0 {zero} to see your sequence settings. Either report those settings or take a screen shot of the sequence settings and post that screen shot here.

I picked the new white 30 gb ipod video up yesterday. I opened it set it up and transfered all my vids and music. Now my problem is the clickwheel. It scrolls about 200 (literally songs at a time and is not acurate with the amount of contacct i have with it. I tried resetting, and now restoring. What shouold I do? Has anyone seen this problem yet?

J.MartinSounds like a strange HW problem. Before you return it, I'd try a Restore, resync, and check it. If it STILL does thast, you need to check with Apple Support.

The message seems to totally disappear. It is going to an AOL customer in UK. I changed their address to start with a lowercase letter & the message was returned to me by AOL as undeliverable, I then changed the first letter of the address beck to upper case, the same I have been using for years, but again it disappeared.

I cannot play my rented movie because itunes cannot locate where the original file, has anyone face this problem before? Where can I find the location of the downloaded movie?
What did you use to download it with? iPad? iPhone? Computer?
If it's an iPad/iPhone, play it using the videos app.
If on the computer, look on the left side of iTunes in the library under movies. -

Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. I created a website with iWeb but use GoDady for hosting it rather than MobileMe. The images on my Gallery page do not show at all on the external domain but they DO show when seen on MobileMe. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Many thanks!Just create a new page (or use the existing photo page) on your external site and use html to add an iframe sized to the page and link it to the mobilme gallery page. Works for me just fine when showing my gallery from a yahoo site.

Driving me crazy diving for the phone and seeing a blank screen , feel like someone some where is saying 'got ya' and laughing their butt off every time.

Dock has moved lower with Mountain Lion. This truncates the indicator light below the dock. Has anyone solved this problem?

I upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion and now my Canon Pixima MP500 will not open because PowerPC apps are no longer supported! Has anyone experience this problem?
Correct. Applications designed to run on the old PPC Macs (which Apple stopped making in 2005) cannot run on Mountain Lion.
