It's not normal.. It restarts the iphone when your open a specific application?? Try deleting the application and re-download the application again..

Hi. First of all, what iPhone is it? The following might help:
1) Push and hold power button for 10 seconds, unless you see an Apple Logo
2) Push and hold power and home button for 5 seconds
3) Plug it into your computer and see if anything happens, or
4) Try to charge it

Well, that is going to make it difficult, since the first two steps of user troubleshooting require the use of the power button. I suggest you get that fixed.

Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone shuts down and let it restart.

Well, if your Home button is broken, you won't be able to reset your phone, and if the Sleep/Wake button won't turn your phone on, it's a trip to the Apple store.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Apple TV just started acting up yesterday. When using remote, light on Apple TV would turn off and on so it would somewhat work when the light was on and would not when light when off. When light is off and in a menu selection, cursor would just move to the end of the list and stop. Already restored back to factory and reset it. Difficult to program after reset when remote only works part of the time when the light goes on so stuck in out of the box condition. Any help on this? Thanks!

Why does my nano keep turning off and on when it is connected to my computer?

When i connect my nano to my computer the nano says that it is connected and nothing happens in Itunes. Then when the nano keeps turning off and on while it is plugged into my computer. What can i do to make itunes recognize my nano so i can add new music?

Please try the following:
Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Cannot restore and turn on my I Phone 4. It only turns on with itunes. But if i want restoring itunes error 2001 or 2006 showed. During restore my phone turns off and it started again and error showing again and again.

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

Last night I was hiking and had 25% battery left. I put it in my pocket then pulled it out and it was turned off. I tried everything to turn it back on (hold sleep buttom and home button for 15 seconds, restoring it on itunes) and nothing works. Both water damage sensors aren't red and when I tried to restore it through iTunes it said "The iPhone could not be restored. This request isn't eligible for the requested build." It's never been jailbroken either.

If you backed up your stuff before on itunes then yes when you restore the iPhone, it will ask to set up as new iPhone or to restore previous backup.
