My ipod 5 will not conect to itunes. it will import photos but still won't connect to itunes. i have tried everything. HELP
My Ipod Touch (5th generation)won't connect to iTunes. Everything is up to date and all of that. I've tried uninstalling iTunes,restarting my computer,turnming my Ipod on and off,and i have tried unpluging and pluging it back in many,many times. I have doneeverything i could think of so now I need help!please,somebody tell me how to fix this!

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

All of a sudden,will not startup (no chime), only sound is the dvd(dl) that is spinning inside. Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -

The main differences that can cause a problem are scripting additions (64-bit vs 32-bit and security reasons) and the usage of dates (it is not as forgiving). AppleScript itself is basically the same, so if empty paragraphs are what caused your problems the update would have just been a coincidence.

Hi, when you say you have tried everything... I presume you have gone into Settings > Store and logged out and back in with your account details?
You could try purchasing an app via iTunes to see if its an issue with the device or the account you're using.

I'm not able to copy and paste files from my mac to hard disk and usb. I have tried dragging the items I want to copy to those devices but it won't work. I also have tried copying and pasting those files onto those devices too but that doesn't work too. Can any one help?

For the slowness, try resetting your iPod.
Reset: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
As far as the App Store, I wonder if the App Store is just down because the servers are overloaded from everyone trying to download iOS 7. You might need to wait and try again later.
If waiting doesn't help, try resetting your network settings.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

For starters you should probably tell us what if any error message you receive when you try and connect. What happens when you try? Have you tried changing the password?
