My ipod has been dropped and dented on the side and screen cracked. after i replace the screen will it still work?

any ideas?

Dropping an iPod + a dent on one side is no big deal at all
It can be a bid deal if the size(dimensions) of the iPod has changed. Although chances of that happening are very less or even 1 in a million; so you can very well go ahead and replace the screen.
I am taking into consideration that the touch function still works - even with the shattered screen!
Good Luck.
