Delete the music in your iTunes library, then go to iTunes store, Quick Link, 'Purchased' to redownload again.

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:

  • Got a message said "your iphone has been found ,please fill a form "-real or not?

My friend lost his iphone, his friend got a message said "your iphone has been found ,please fill a form " where you need to provide your icloud confidential .
Looks really same like the apple office site.

It is a scam. If your friend gives their Apple ID and passcode, the thieves will be able to bypass the activation lock on the phone.

  • Songs transferred to Ipod will not play in Itunes and don't show in Ipod

I have had a nano for a good 6+ months and have yet to be able to fill it up with music. Under 200 songs it is a crap shoot whether or not the songs will show up after I eject it. If I load 200+ songs to the Ipod one of two things happen. 1. After ejecting the Ipod none of the songs i loaded show up on it, and after linking it back to the computer, itunes tells me that it must be restored. 2. a good number of songs will not play but are skipped over. The album art shows for a split second and goes to the next song. The next time I plug it into my computer it says that It does not recognize it and forces me to restore it again.
I have done the following among other things.
    1. Repeatedly restored my ipod, this does not help.
    2. Re-installed Itunes and Quicktime.
    3. Loaded only AAC files.
    4. Turned off Spy Sweeper while before plugging in my Ipod and load songs.
    5. Disabled Norton Anti-virus.
    6. Confirmed how I am ejecting it.
    6. Replaced my Ipod once.
    7. Bought a new computer HP Pavillion a1630n.
    8. Invested well over 40 hours of my time trying to get this thing to work.
I have over 200GB of music which and I cannot get much more than 2GB on my 4GB Ipod without a problem. As of this writting I have restored it 6 times, after each time I drag my songs to the Ipod icon, when it is done loading, I press the eject icon next to the IPod and each time I click English-->Music-->Artists--> and after that all I get is All-->All-->Nothing. I plug it back into the computer and have to restore it and start over. I have had the same problem on two Ipods, and two Computers. I want this to work so bad. Help Help Help.

The exact message that I get each time I plug my Ipod back in states, "iTunes cannot read teh contents of the iPod "MILOPOD." Go to the summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings."
I am continually restoring my Ipod over and over again reducing the number of songs on it over and over until I get lucky enough for the songs to stick. Only about 100 or so will regularly stick. I am now restoring it for the 7th time.

  • My unlocked iphone has been replaced with a locked iphone

I purchased 2 iphone 5C 32Gb in September, one for me, the other for my wife. They were purchased via an online retailer, but both have had problems and i contacted support via chat, however they problems could not be resolved so I booked a genius slot at the nearest Apple Store (Reading UK).
It was agreed that both iphones required replacement, however they were not UK models and therefore had to be ordered in.
Earlier this week i received a call to say they were ready for collection and i took time off work to travel to  the store (1 1/2 hour away) yesterday.
Both phones were replaced ad the SIM cards swapped.
One iphone worked straight away, however the other will not activate stating: SIM NOT VALID
I was informed that it sometimes takes time to be able to activate; so after 2 hours of trying in the Store I was assured this was temporary and would be able to activate within a few hours.
it is well over 30 hours and after contacting chat support, who put me on to phone support, who escalated it, it would appear that this phone is locked to an Australian network.
The phone support also had no record of this replacement iphone as the replacement was not identified on the genius bar work confirmation email and ther is no record of where it was purchased (I only have the imei number on the back of the phone to go by)
The original iphone was unlocked from new, however this replacement is locked.
My wife has been without her phone for nearly two weeks now, and I am no where nearer getting this resolved....
I have no idea what network it is locked to....
What are my options?????? It would appear that i am going to have to purchase a new phone as it is needed for work next week.
Feeling very let down by apple support at the moment, and am considering returning the 3 ipads i purchased last saturday for my children for xmas as I am not convinced that I will receive adequate support if anything goes wrong.
Any ideas on how to get this resolved would be gratefully received.

Purchased from an "online retailer"? Which online retailer?
If that online retailer was NOT Apple, then there is a very, very good chance that you did NOT purchase an unlocked iPhone.

  • Ipod classic says it has been restored by itunes but will not get out of recovery mode

Hello, about a week ago my ipod classic 120gb shut off unexpectedly and gave me the big red X, telling me to restore. I connected it to itunes (on a mac) and attempted to restore, but it kept on giving me error message 1439. I kind of gave up, but then randomely today when i tried to restore it, it gave me the affirmative that the ipod was restored to factory settings and would restart. however, when it restarted, it was still in disk mode, and the message on my computer was that it has detected an ipod in recovery mode that needs to be restored! i then restored it again, and again it gave me the message that it was successfully restored, however when I restored it again it told me that it was in recovery mode and needed to be restored again. anyone know how i can get it out of disk mode so that when it finally restores on itunes it can restart in normal mode?

    Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

  • My daughters iPod touch 4th gen has been disabled from her locking it with a password, forgetting the password, and now it says disabled connect to iTunes .  The problem is the computer it was set up on is no longer operational.

I tried to use iCloud to restore but she never set up iCloud. I tried to wipe it with find my iPhone but she never set that up. I put the iPod into recovery mode and connected it to an iTunes account on a different computer but it does not pick up the iPod. When I connect it to iTunes not in recovery mode it says to unlock the iPod before it can connect to iTunes. I don't know where to go from here besides blowing it up or putting it in a microwave. Please help. Thank you.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
