My iPod says there's a problem with my last purchase and every time I try to look at my history to clear the problem it says there no connection to ITunes

When I log into my acc it ammediatly says there's a problem with my last purchase and to go to my purchase history to clear it. When I hit continue its suppose to take me to the history but it just loads then says cannot connect

the itunes says that it knows that there isan ipod there, but it doesnt recognize it. I have reset the ipod, restarted my computer, and reinstalled itunes.
Doublechecking. Have you tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components (Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, etc ...) and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

I Yogi is a complete SCAM having already paid for 2 help calls £60 approx I once again had NO SERVICE on my IPhone 4s and was told by their operative that if I paid another £40 for one year cover this would include an upgrade to the IPhone mid August or September. I refused to agree to this and said I would report them to the National Press. Suddenly.... my service was restored. I now want my initial payment refunded and will stop at nothing to get this back.
What is happening here is this: Once you agree to pay for 2 help calls they then at some point disconnect your service and try to get money from you to reconnect. I will report this SCAM to the Media and hope that this SCAM CAN BE STOPPED.
I also blame Apple for allowing this to happen in the first place because when trying to access APPLE HELPLINE you are diverted to this I YOGI crowd of thieves and money grabbers who are operating under the mantle of Apple.

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.

Does the name and address on your credit card match exactly the name and address on your iTunes account, and have you checked with your card issuer to see if they are ones who are declining it ? I get this sometimes with the card I've been using for years. I'm not sure what happens but usually, all I have to do is go into iTunes and edit my card info. Instead of changing anything, I just save the changes even though I didn't make any and then iTunes will then automatically resubmit the over due charges.
This same thing also happens with SiriusXM account and at least once ir twice a year, I get a past due notice in the mail. Frustrating even though there is nothing wrong with my card.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money.
