My ipod serial no only have 10 digits

I don't understand, i try to enter my ipod serial no. and it only has 10 digits and it also has the HP symbol on the back. my friend got his about a month after me and he has 11 digits and doesn't have the HP symbol in the back... can somebody tell me if i have to stay working with apple or should i go ask HP about it

Create a second Apple ID for a separate iCloud account. You can still share the Apple ID for iTunes purchases, but separate for the cloud.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You should only get that message when you are trying to create a new account.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

I have loaded only 250 songs on my ipod and I only have 11GB left

Recently reinstalled Acrobat 9 pro. Got serial number from adobe. Now keep getting the message upgrade. No 9 in dropdown. Then tells me to enter serial or only have 22 days left. Reinstalled 3 times.

Sorry that you got such a hassle. Try this. I don't have Acrobat 9 per se, but I have the TCS2 and found the following.
Run Regedit (all the serious warning apply here. Look but don't touch).
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHNINE->SOFTWARE->Adobe->Repair->Adobe Acrobat->9.0->IOD Look under the entry under SERIAL.
Maybe it works maybe it doesn't. But it might help.

Itunes deleted my library from my ipod. now i only have new purchases. how can I get my whole library back onto my ipod?

I just transferred itunes to a new computer. When I plugged in my ipod, I was asked if I wanted to erase my old library and put the new on on. I said yes because my whole library is on this computer. Now that it's done with the sync, I only have the three albums that I just purchased and all of the rest is gone. How can I sync my whole music library back onto this device?

If the lost music and photos are no longer accessible by or on your iPod, on your PC, or in another backup somewhere, you are out of luck. You can download most iTunes purchases again at no cost via iCloud. See this article for more information and assistance.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For non-iTunes purchased content, you'll need to redownload or rerip them from their original source.
For the future, you may want to consider backing up your iTunes library and/or PC.

I only have 20 digits in my serial number... not 24.

Help, I purchased Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 (in card form) and when I tried to insert the serial number for the licence I realised it was too short (on the back of the card it is 20 digits and the print off I received from the store is only 19 digits.) I cannot enter a serial number and move on as it won't accept the amount of numbers I have.
Need help asap please. Very frustrated.

I deactivated photoshop the old mac pro and i have the 20 digit serial except i need a 24 digit..... i cannot find how to get a 24 digit code???

I inherited the machine at work with photoshop on it. The new laptop is also from work that i want to move photoshop onto, the person who originally installed photoshop is no longer with the company ..... any other ideas please??

How can I iMessage an Irish phone number (iPhone user) from an iPod touch if I only have their phone number?

Hi there! I would like to iMessage a friend's iPhone from my iPod. I only have their phone number, which is an Irish phone number, though my Apple ID is registered in Canada. I have been unable to find the correct number format i.e. country code, area code, phone number etc.in order for the message to work. I do not have the person's Apple ID. My itunes and ipod will not see each other and claim they are on different accounts. I only have one account

I can't sync my ipod anylonger. I have 2 nano's and 1 touch. my itunes does not recognize them anymore. Some of the songs on itunes are not on my ipod, and vice versa. I can download songs from itunes, but it does not allow me to log on anylonger.

In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.
The moderator will no doubt be along shortly to close or delete this thread. So, just in case, please bookmark your yesterday's thread cited above so that we can continue this communication which is trying to help you.

IPod only recognized as digital camera / Apple Software Update unable to be uninstalled

This may sound like a common problem, but I've done a LOT of work trying to fix it based on online searches. With no avail, I think this problem can't be easily fixed.
As the question states, the initial problem is that my iPod Touch (1st gen I think, maybe 2nd gen, iOS 3.1.3) wasn't recognized by iTunes as an iPod, but only as a digital camera (Windows 7, 64-bit). At first I was content because I didn't have extra songs I wanted to add. But then when I cleared the RAM one day, the iPod restarted with the USB/Connect to iTunes screen. Finally, I had no choice but to try to fix the iTunes problem. So, as most people suggest first, I tried to update iTunes.
Unfortunately iTunes was unable to update. There was a rolling back error, that I traced to Apple Mobile Device Software by using the Command Prompt and logging the install log. Apparently, iTunes didn't have sufficient permission by Windows to delete the necessary files. I even uninstalled iTunes to try to reinstall it, but it didn't reinstall, leaving me with no iTunes at all.
Then I extracted AMDS installer from the iTunes installation package and logged that installation process to find errors. According to an online source, the driver was blank, so I first tried using pnputil.exe in cmd to remove the Apple driver package. This failed, so I manually went into C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository to find the driver to delete it so it could reinstall. Unfortunately, it still wouldn't install.
In addition, I changed the ownership of ProgramData, Program Files, and Program Files (x86) in the C:\ disk to Administrator instead of SYSTEM and gave full permission to myself (the administrator) and "TrustedInstaller." A risky move, I know, but I was desperate. I had hoped that this would give permission to iTunes to modify what it needed to modify, but this still didn't work.
Thus, I tried to remove all traces of Apple software that related to iTunes manually. This involved the Apple files in ProgramData, Program Files\Common Files, and Program Files (x86)\Common Files. Then I tried to uninstall the list of programs related to iTunes (Bonjour, QuickTime, etc). However, Apple Software Update refused to uninstall and gave an error "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program reuired for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I fear in my deletion of files, I might have deleted something necessary for this uninstall.
I downloaded multiple forced uninstallers, but none of them worked - the same message showed up constantly. I went into the registry key to see if I could manually uninstall Apple Software Update, but this didn't seem to work either. I was too afraid to delete anymore files...
So here I am again, having walked in a complete circle in this extremely complicated situation. The files I deleted in my first attempt at a solution ended up hindering a possible actual solution. Any ideas to uninstall Apple Software Update, or to solve iTunes rolling back error, or to remove the connect to iTunes screen from my iPod would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated. I can live without iTunes, but my iPod is very important to me. If anyone has a solution to remove the screen without connected to iTunes, or connecting to a different computer's iTunes, I would be willing to take that course of action too.
