When I hold down my iPod Touch 3G 32GB with 4.3.2 I can't play the audio of the video neither clicking play when it's hold why?

It's a limitation from 4.2.1 for iPhone 3GS and iTouch 3G and not for new devices as iPhone 4, iTouch 4G and iPad 2?

When I double click Home button, all of my apps don't show in the bar -- only the four that reside there. Did a reset last night to fix the Home button (it sort of works now) but now this. Any ideas on why I can't do the fast app switch now?

My undertanding is that when you double-click the home button, the apps that are shown are those that are currently active. The reason you are not seeing all of them is that not all of them are active. Before you can access an app in the multitask bar, it has to be turned on first. As a test, try accessing the Notes application. Return to the home screen by clicking the Home button ONCE. Once the home screen appears, double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar. The Notes app should be on the far left.

I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 yesterday and now when I press the home button even once, it opens the app switcher (which is supposed to only open after pressing the home button twice quickly). Sometimes pressing the home button once even brings up the assistive button (which for me should take three button presses). This did not happen before I updated my software. Has anyone else had this issue? Know how to stop it? Very annoying and at this point feel like I should have waited before I did the update.

Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip..

MBP has 8GB Ram and separate video card using 2.3 Ghx i7 processor ... so i don't think it is a hardware issue.

Firmware downgrade on iPod Touch 3G 32GB

I just upgraded from an iPod Touch 3G 8GB that had 3.1.2 running on it to a new iPod Touch 3G 32GB that came with 3.1.3 out of the box. I've noticed that there are some things that the 3.1.3 OS just won't do and was wondering if there was any way to downgrade to 3.1.2 on my new iPod. I've got a copy of the 3G's 3.1.2 firmware and attempted to install it in iTunes using the <Shift> + Recovery method, but iTunes refuses to install the older software, giving the error that "this device is not eligible for the requested build".

I just recently downgraded from 3.1.3 to 2.2.1 on my 2nd generation itouch.
I went into DFU mode and did the itunes "Option" restore and picked the new/old software to restore to that I downloaded to my desktop. Now my Wifi works great! 3.1.3 which is being used on the ipad in my opinion is the reason why wifi is sketchy on it. I wish someone would downgrade the ipad to 2.2.1 and then check their wifi signal strength. I would be willing to bet it is in the 3.1.3 that is causing all of the ipad's problems with wifi. Apple told me the same thing " You can't downgrade your itouch". I just proved that is a bunch of Malarkey "Exaggerated or foolish talk, usually intended to deceive: " My two cents.
They just don't want to look bad by everyone going back to 2.2.1
Imagine all of the PC people downgrading from Windows 7 back to XP what an impact that would make to Microsoft.

Hi, my son locked my ipod touch 3g 32gb. When I tried to put the password, it's impossible as the slide unlock disappeared. When I connected to my pc to restore it from Itunes, the password is required. I tried to make a direct restore and to format it, I got a this error message "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. I updated my iPod touch 4th generation from the latest iOS 4 update (i think maybe iOS 4.3.5 or something like that) to iOS 5.1.1. I updated to iOS 5.1.1 on a Windows XP Home Edition with the Service Pack 3 installed on the Windows XP (which I believe is the latest version). After updating, I unplugged my iPod from the computer. I saw that all my photos and videos were on my iPod, but there were no apps. A window popped up and told me to enter a passcode for my iPod. I entered a passcode. I then locked my iPod and entered what I thought to be the correct passcode, but my iPod remained unlocked. Desperate, I tried many passcodes with failure. After a while, my iPod became disabled for a long time. I decided to reset my iPod. After I reseted it, I chose to reset from my earlier back up. After reseting, my computer loaded on all my apps. But, when I started using my iPod, I realized all my photos, videos, music, app data (like game saves and high scores), etc. were gone! I have no idea what to do and I am very stressed about this! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET ALL MY STUFF BACK!!!!!!

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

The screen on my ipod touch came away from the back and then stuck back down a couple of days later. The battery seems to be weak now but everything else is OK. What could have caused this? Over chargibg in the car cradle?, Heat? Being held too tightly in the cradle?, Getting water inside?

If you have successfully restored the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
