and I reaaaaly love gaming on my iPod but it has jus occured that all my games are crashing....
Especially Batman Arkham city & Shadowgun its an iOs error...
Dese same games rock on my frnds iPhone 4 and 4s's... Its a RAM thingy I suppose...but it really *****!
Apple please rectify this...
A lot of users really experience this just read Batman Arkham City blogs... So pleeeasee Apple jus take measures......

You are probably right saying that it's related to RAM limitation. However, you could not assume that Apple will resolve this if its a developper issue.
First, you should try to close any apps that may require background ressources while you play. Double-click the home button and close those that are not passive. If you don't know which one take ressources, try to close them all. You can also perform an iPod restart which may help.
If you still experience crashing, you should go in the app store and click the "Report Problem" at the bottom of the page of your game.
Then, cross your finger that the developper will release an update of your game.

I have a 3rd generation iPod Touch and just did the update to IOS 5. Now I can't connect to my Netgear wifi router. My iPhone connects fine along with all of my other laptops etc. I have the router set with WPA-PSK [TKIP] security and an access list.

I've confirmed the mac address is included on that list and that the password is correct. Under choses netwrok I select the network and it just goes into a spin. I have tried removing the password and the access list settings and it still will not complete the connection to the router thus no internet access. The routers firmware is also up to date. This thing worked fine before this update and I've already tried to restore from backup. Any ideas or is the wifi nic bad in this thing with the new apple firmware update? Any fix?

Thanks Bob, I don't know why but it all of a sudden worked a few days later. It's a mystery but at least problem solved.

After charging the iPod for half an hour, see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Is it okay to clean your iPod Touch with just a washcloth and clean water?

I was just wondering if cleaning my iPod Touch with just water and a washcloth would be alright. Is there something better to use thats free?

A soft lint-free cloth is all that's recommended and usually all that is necessary. If you have some sort of material on the iPod that you can't get off with just a dry cloth, then you can use a damp - and by "damp" I really do mean damp; if you can squeeze any water out if it, it's too wet - cloth for just that material. It will be up to you to make sure that no liquid gets into the iPod.

This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

I have not had any experience in getting any devices repaired so I'm not sure which store to resort to. An official Apple store should more than likely get you what you need, but I'm guessing it's probably more expensive. (if any cost for your situation)

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
