My ipod touch 4th generation will not leave the apple logo sign

my ipod touch 4th generation will not leave the apple logo sign what do i do to turn it on and work ? please help

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My Ipod Touch 4th generation is stuck in the apple logo

    Hello,
I have an Ipod Touch (4th gen) but it doesn't get past the apple logo and if it does the screen becomes white but it doesn't do anything else. I tried to restore it through ITunes but that doesn't work either (always get an error). It's been like this for a while since everything I've tried so far doesn't work at all.
    Thank you in advance ^^

Any error messages or numbers given by iTunes?
If yes, check this article: Resolve iOS update and restore errors
Also try to connect in recovery mode to restore, explained here: If you can't update or restore your iOS device
If this does not work, your device has to be checked by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

  • Ipod touch 4th generation will not restore

My ipod touch 4th generation will not restore. It begain with a random problem with the device. I tried to open a application but the application would blink a few times then would not open. This was so for ALL of the applications. I then powered of my device to try and reboot it. The Apple logo will apear for about 5 seconds but then the sreen will go black and the Apple logo will apear again. I tried to reboot several times and it did not work. I then connected my device to my computer but it would not appear in Itunes. The only way for the device to appear was for me to put it into DFU mode by holding down the home and power button for 10 seconds. My Itouch would have the connect to Itunes on it. It was then reconized by Itunes. Itunes message appeared telling me that i need to restore my Ipod. I tried restoring the Ipod, but after the update downloaded a error would appear while it was going through the restoration proccess.

  • HT201263 None of these answers help my problem.  My ipad will not leave the Apple logo.  I hold both buttons and the screen goes black, then the apple logo immediately pops back up.  I can't do anything because the apple logo just keeps popping back on.

I haven't been able to find any answers that solve my problem.  My Ipad will not leave the Apple logo.  I hold both buttons and the screen goes black and then the Apple logo immediately pops back up.  I can't get the red slider screen at all.  No matter how many times I hold down both buttons the screen goes black and then the Apple logo pops right back on.

Before you do anything else, try charging via a wall outlet for a while, since its off. Then try turning it back on.
When you put the device into recovery mode it allows you to restore the device when no other options work. You do risk losing everything currently strored on the ipad itself. Hopefully you've performed regular backups either via itunes, icloud or both. Evern if you have synced content to either of those, you may not lose everything. All previous purchases have been saved in the itunes and app stores, so you can dowload them again.
while the ipad is off, press and hold the home button and plug the usb cord into the ipad. You should see a message pop up on the itunes window on your compoter screen that state it has discoverd an ipad in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore

I need some help. I want to sync my iPod touch 4th generation and it WILL NOT sync. I reinstalled iTunes and it still won't sync. • IPod touch 4th generation will not sync with iTunes, but shows up in Windows 7 64bit(Acer Aspire laptop)

Hello all, I am writing this message in the hope that somebody can help me to solve my issue with my iPod touch fourth generation. It has been unable to sync with iTunes, but shows up in windows as the iPod touch. I also had this problem with my older iPods as well (Ipod nano 4th Gen, iPod touch 2nd gen(Batteries done for that one)) I can sync music with iCloud, but I have a bunch of songs that are not in the store, and I sincerely want to add those, alot.
I've checked the "iPod appears in Windows but not in iTunes" with the link here: (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363), and followed that process, but to no avail, it does not solve the problem. I've tried to reset the entire ipod by making it enter DFU mode and then rebooting the entire iPod (shows up in iTunes in temporary mode) but once restored, does not appear in iTunes, but still in Windows detected still as a iPod, looks like the iPod and everything. I also have the most uup-to-date iTunes installed (10.5 I believe, just got it today)
This is extremely frustrating because that is why I purchased the iPod (and for the games and apps, those are great too). The iPod was also purchased three days ago, and the setup still didn't detect it.  I am not mad at anybody here or the Apple company itself, but I have not found any help online with the browsing option (for support of course).
Please, I would absolutely love the help, i'd be eternally grateful for it.

Never mind, turns out that by uninstalling the programs "Megakey" and "Megaupload" it had resolved this issue.

  • IPod touch 4th generation will not connect to Uverse internet

When Uverse internet was setup in my home my 64 gb IPOD touch 3rd generation stopped connecting to internet.  I've turned my wifi off and on (that doesn't work), I've tried rebooting the IPOD by turning it completely off then turning back on.  I've manually added my IP address, network and password and it's still not working.  Is there anybody in the community that can give me a few positive suggestions?  Thanking all of you in advance.

  • My ipod touch 5th generation is stuck on the apple logo, and i tried fixing it with itunes but it tells me there an error and gives me a code saying i needed to update my itunes and it was.what other ways is there to fix it.

ipod stuck on the apple logo. i did the itunes thing but it tells me error and gives me a code saying i need to update itunes but it was and i did again but it still said the same thing. help how do i fix my ipod.

Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1?  More info would be helpful. As Deggie asked, what was the error message, the more detailed the better. One more thing-- is this a Mac machine or a PC? Cheers.

  • My iPhone 4 will not leave the apple logo page?

I updated my iPhone and it began installing and downloading the new update then all of a sudden it turned black, I thought it was part of the proccess so I just ignored it and then it flashed to the apple logo page, i waited a little and then it turned black again, then back to the apple logo. It keeps repeating this. I tried to plug it into the computer and nothing happened, I would push the home and lock button but my lock button is stuck. Please help!! I need this to work. I thought about letting it die, but god knows how long that would take. PLEASE HELP

    Hey laysams64,
I would follow these troubleshooting steps:
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
