My ipod touch was stolen and I would like to know what I can do to try to find it again & have it back in my hands.
    Please Help !

    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

  • Facetime on my ipod touch got deleted what can i do to get it back?

facetime on my ipod got deleted for some reason, how can i get it back?

    - Try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - You said "i also checked my restriction i did'nt see face time." Do you have restrictions turned on?
    - Did you ever hav FaceTime?  If the iPod was officially purchased in one of the middle eastern countries tha prohibit FT, FT will not be preent on the iPod and y can't get it on that iPod.

  • Ipod touch was stolen what can i do?

The cleaning staff stole my ipod at a hotel that I was staying in. The manager will not cooperate because he is not happy that we are indirectly accusing his staff of stealing my ipod. Is there anything I can do to track the ipod? It is a 2nd or 3rd generation touch.

If you set up the Find My iPod service prior to the iPod going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked, though it depends on a number of factors (the iPod is turned on, connected to a WiFi network, and has not had the Find My iPod service disabled or the iPod been completely restored).
If you did not set up Find My iPod, then there is no way to track it. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, for instance).
    Regards.

My IPod touch got stolen today while on vacation and I can't remember my Apple ID/Apple ID password, which I need to be able to track it. I know my email associated with my Apple ID so I got the password reset link sent to my email but when I click on it, it sends me to a blank page every time. I've tried this on a computer, iPad, and iPhone, and have even called in and gotten tech support yet no luck...any suggestions on what I should do!?!?!? Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see the following. This will get the iPod like it was when the backup was made. This is you only possible way of getting your information back since when the iPod is in recovery mode (the screen show conect to iTunes) the iPod is already erased.

my ipod touch 2g burned what can i do ???? help me please

Setting an electronic device on a bed or other insulative material can cause the device to overheat. If it's still hot, wait until it cools down and it may then work normally. If not, try the normal troubleshooting steps: restart, reset, restore:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If that doesn't cure the problem, your iPod may have suffered a hardware failure and will need service.

  • My ipod touch is disabled what can i do to fix the problem?

my ipod touch is disabled what can i do to fix the problem?

Connect in recovery mode and restore, explained in these articles: iOS: Unable to restore and iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
