    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My Ipod touch isn't being recognizd in iTunes or in my computer.

I need help badly lol. Ok as in the title my ipod isn't being recognized by iTunes or windows. Also it doesnt come on unless plugged into my computer or some power source. But when it does come on all it shows is a USB cord with an arrow pointing to the words iTunes. I don't know what to do, I've searched for about 5-6 hours trying to fix this blasted thing and no solution works yet. I've done the reset, uninstall reinstall itunes, restart my computer, uninstall the drivers from device manager and reinstall them after a computer restart. Absolutely nothing works, is it time i chunk the thing in the garbage or what?

  • My ipod touch isn't being recognized by iTunes or my computer. It's in "ipod recovery mode"?

My ipod touch 5th generation is not being recognized by my computer under devices or in itunes; however, when I click on devices and printers it comes up under "unspecified" and is labeled as "Apple mobile device usb driver." I right clicked the icon and hit troubleshooter and it opened itunes and told me I should restore and update my ipod. I did this twice and nothing has changed, it is still not being recognized. This is a big problem because the only thing that will pop up on the screen of my ipod is the symbol for the usb plug with an arrow pointing to the itunes symbol (meaning plug into itunes I assume). I have tried restarting my ipod and restarting my computer and nothing is working. I have the most recent version of itunes. How do I fix this?

  • My ipod touch isn't being recognised.

I have an ipod nano and an ipod touch, both of which I sync on the same mac but for some reason my touch does not seem to be recognised at all when I try and connect it up. I took it into my local apple store but the assistant wasn't helpful at all (she dropped my touch in front of me!!) She connected it up to the instore computer and my touch was on it so she said that it must be a software failure on my mac. How can this be when my nano is still syncing?
