My ipod touch's imessage is being really slow and half of the time it doesn't work! Even my house wifi works! I tried everything possible. However is there anyway to fix it?

If the iPod is working normally except for the Home button, depressing the Power button will turn it on.
Next connecting to charging source will turn it on.
If connected to a computer and iTunes sees it you can backup the iPod and restore another iOS device from that backup.

If I understand correctly you are going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Add Account but that last option is not usable because it is gray. In testing this for you, I was able to reproduce this by enabling Restrictions and denying Account Changes. You can configure that with this article:

Ipod Touch 3rd Gen Freezes, is really slow.
I just bought a new 32GB iPod touch 3rd gen yesterday, and it keeps freezing up. When it loads the "Slide to unlock" screen, the text doesn't "light up" and when I slide the slider over, it doesn't move. after about 20 seconds it then proceeds to the home screen and is frozed there for another 10 seconds. Then it responds normally and lets me use it temporarily. after X amount of time, (1 min - 5 mins) it freezes up when I try to enter text, and does not display the text i'm typing for about 20 -40 seconds and seems completely unresponsive. then after that 20-40 seconds it enters all the text that i typed, or if i pressed the home button during that time it will show the home screen. Any ideas on the problem? I plan on exchanging it today.
I have tried hard resets and 2 factory restores on 2 separate machines with no difference in preformance

MacBook Pro being really slow and vert little free RAM.
Hi,
Just recently my MacBook Pro has been running really slowly when navigating between applications and tabs in safari. I checked to see how much RAM was free and it said only 30MB. I have no more apps open or things running than I normally do. This Mac is 6 months old but my old mac that was nearly 3 years old tended to run quicker, and as mentioned, I have no more apps running than I previously had. Maybe Word, Excel, iTunes and Safari. Can anyone help explain what might be making it slow and what might be hogging all the RAM?

I am trying to figure out if I can share a playlist of old standards from my itunes library with my father's ipod touch, which we purchased for him a few years ago, without erasing the content that is already on his ipod. The current content was put on it by my sister, who does not currently live near here.
My father has mid/late stage alzheimer's/dementia and one of the things that has been suggested is to play music for him from when he was a younger man.
Thanks in advance for any help,I just discovered what the Project Loop End marker is for. I am no longer frustrated. And, apparently, it IS a problem to set project durations shorter than about eight seconds. I had no problem setting it to ten. Four and five are problems.
So, for anyone else who wants to end a Motion project on an exact fram: Project Loop End. To me, that sounded like it would go back and play the effect over again, but it doesn't. -

Enen at startup I get the beach ball. iPhoto is the worst but opening any app is really slow. If I do any editing in iPhoto it takes forever to respond and the beach ball is spinning. Help?
Delete all items in System Preferences > Users & Groups (or Account) > Login Items
Same for HD > Library > StartupItems
And make sure there's enough free space on the startup disk.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's at least 15% available space.

I had this too, First put it in a bag of uncooked rice over a day period and shut the thing fully OFF. it might be a coincident that moisture has built up inside with the new setting turned ON. Try it.

Did you try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.

If you try to access Spotlight in the morning and it is still indexing, reindex it by following these steps.

Sometimes the index is corrupted, or something it is trying to index is, and it hangs up like that.
Re-indexing may free that up and let it work correctly. -
Does anybody have any ideas to help with Itunes? its become slow and useless sine upgrading to the latest version. i can still download at normal speeds from the site but initial opening and navigation are painfully slow.

My iPad 2 is really slow and app crash every time after IO8 update.

Sorry, downgrading is not supported. I'm running it on an iPad 2 as well and it certainly is not as snappy as it once was.
Look into background app update, background app refresh. Notifications, not just in the notification center but in the apps themselves as well
also look to closing unnecessary programs. Double tap the home button. Flick the previews for any unneeded apps up and off the screen then single tap the home button to exit the mode. -
My 2.5 year old MacBook Pro is still within in the valid period of apple care protection plan. My hard disk is now unbelievably slow, so can I change one from appl for free? And one USB port isn't working well either. Thanks
Since you still have AppleCare, you can certainly take your machine in for diagnosis and see what the results are. Your disk may or may not be going bad - it may be loaded down with third-party software or it may be on the brink of failure. If the latter, I'm sure that it will be replaced gratis.
And if you have a USB port that isn't working, that should be repaired under AppleCare, too: even if it means replacing the entire logic board.
Make an appointment with the folks at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.
