Apple hi my ipo was stolen today and I had it or 4 to 5 years I jut or new music on it and I didn't sync it to my conputer in a long time so I won't have slot of things please if you can lock it and tell them the their to cally number or activation location for my because I don't have a backup new device that can help me sorry if there are slot of mistakes back connection oh and if you could report in in for me a lock it or what not. Also if you can save my things then delete it from that device so they don't do anything that I can't take back thank you and please help me. Oh and the iPod is a 4th generation iPod if they are trying to sell it with a purple case it crashes alot and I have cloud on it. My personal info and pics are in it and they are probably gonna blakmail me eventhough I don't know them please report this in for me.
If you have a iCloud account set up you may be able to disable it, I'm not entirely sure about the earlier iPods. Even a poor thief will have already changed your settings. You can report it as stolen and change all passwords associated with this iPod to prevent a thief from accessing your accounts, computer, etc. As for the blackmail stuff, be careful what you have on your devices! Nothing is that secure. Good luck.

If necessary:
- Transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party progrtam like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
--- When everything is on your computer, connect the iPod to your computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
--- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.
Sometimes a computer glitch causes the iPod to see the iTunes library as a new one. -

I see you came from the article iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode. If you haven't already, following the steps within that document should solve the issue. If you did follow along with those steps and it didn't work for you, can you tell us what happened?

You can't track it unless it has a connection to the internet. Without cellular service or wifi all you can do is physically look for it or try calling your number to see if someone answers. Neither are probably going to work if it was stolen. Put it in lost mode and change your passwords, including your iCloud password so the theif doesn't erase your data and take over your account.

Hi, I got a big problem. I restored my macbook pro and after I erased everything and started to restall the system, it showed I need to give the apple ID that was purchased the lion. The problem is that I lost my installing CD, and I don't have an ID with lion purchased, so what should I do? Do you sell the system software?

The particular model of MacBook Pro is a key detail here, as the Mac model will determine the oldest version it can boot, as well as whether it'll boot more current software.
AFAIK there is and was no Lion installer DVD available. It was a download. AFAIK, the last DVDs commonly available were for Snow Leopard 10.6. Snow Leopard DVDs are still available in the Apple online store in various countries, if your MacBook Pro is old enough to be able to boot that version.
If your MacBook Pro purchase with Lion wasn't registered with Apple, then you'll have to discuss this directly with the Apple Support folks, or repurchase Lion from the Mac App Store (which will usually involve a call to Apple for a redemption code as it's old software), or you'll "purchase" (it's free) Mavericks OS X 10.9 and wipe and install that assuming your MacBook Pro supports Mavericks. If you didn't purchase the MacBook Pro from Apple (and it was shipped with an older release), then you'll end up acquiring a redemption code from Apple for Lion, or installing Mavericks.
For completeness and given you're probably already aware of this, the usual approach for restoration with recent OS X versions is via the recovery boot (more details). If the disk is wiped and you can't get Lion, then you'll probably end up reinstalling with Target Disk Mode using another Mac with a compatible FireWire or Thunderbolt port and a cable. Or visit the local Apple Store.
sputniki: Once OS X 10.7 or 10.9 has been reinstalled, yes, getting Time Machine configured and going is undoubtedly on the agenda. But had there been a viable backup here, I expect jianghua would have used it. -

if you cant download them > email the iTunes Store emaill support adn explian the situation adn they will give you a regrant of all your purchases.

Yes. If it was signed out from iCloud, it will disappear from the Devices list in Find my iPhone.

Okay, so somebody stole my Ipod, 4th generation, and it don't have IOS 7, it has IOS 6.1.4, and apparently I was tracking it with police officers this morning and when I get home from school (now, 4:26) it appears that it's offline and I can't see the location no more, so my question is... Can they still find out where is it located?
Your carrier might be able to locate it if it's on their network and they are ordered to do so by the police or the courts. It can't be tracked with Find My iPhone if it's offline.

My iPad was stolen. It is password protected and I locked it. So far no one has tried to turn it on. I would like to erase the content but am afraid that the "Find it' software would be diabled too. Can someone tell me if this is what happens?
If content is erased, then the ipad will no longer have the Find My iPhone service turned on, hence can't be tracked. But the thief will not be able to view your data/apps. But thieves these days know about the service and can reset the device so that it is no longer tracked, although all data is erased anyway. They don't care about getting at your data, only about keeping the device to sell or use it as their own.

My MacBook Pro was stolen less than a week ago, and I'm not sure if the hard drive was wiped, if it was wiped would I still be able to find it with the findiphone app? Or would it be untraceable after it was wiped? I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.
