My ipod wont tell me when i get new notifications and it started happening right after i updated it
after i updated my ipod it wont tell me when i get new notifications and it says i shuld sync it to itunes i did that and im still not getting new notifications also my imessage and facetime aren't working

Go into your settings, are the push notifications turned on? Same with messages.

My bookmark folder has a number of sub-folders in it. When I try to access a bookmark, and mistakenly hover over the wrong sub-folder, the resultant pop-out menu will not go away, so I can't access the proper sub-folder. I have to click outside the pop-out and start all over again.
Ok. Update. Ive been playing around with this a bit. So the first thing I tried was adding a bookmark directly to the toolbar and not to a folder. This worked. I can see the bookmark on the tool bar and in the toolbar folder under organize bookmarks. Now. I try to add a bookmark for the same page to a folder on the toolbar. This time it shows up under bookmarks toolbar/*subfolder in organize bookmarks. But it does not show up in that folder under the actual tool bar. Like I said in my last post. I do not have two "bookmark toolbar" folders. just one that I am aware of.

Phone wont tell me when i get a call if locked
when my iphone is locked (screen off) and i receive a call, it wont light up to say im getting a call. it just stays black. then i unlock later and it says i have a bunch of missed calls.
anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?icebike: i made them test it after nuking. but it worked, they basically couldnt reproduce the problem. problem began again after i left.
modular: it doesnt ring at all. i will not know i received a call until i unlock it. airplane mode method was just someone's suggestion, in case someone was going to say it again here, i decided to include that it doesnt work. It basically was putting the phone in airplane mode then turning off the iphone then turning it back on and taking it off airplane mode.
i should mention the problem is intermittent and for some reason one out of every 10 calls gets through.

When ever I get notification from fb/messenger/emails, my music volume lowers by some margin, and will not return to the set level until I receive another notification. I try attempting to turn it up but the volume is at its highest limit.
How can this be fixed? Is anyone else having this problem?Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking theDevices tab, and enabilng the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. First: Apple does not replace screens or repair mobile devices in any way. They will replace the device.

Updated from 6.1.2 to 6.1.3 and now my phone wont ring when i get new messages, or any notifications besides calls. When i do get notifications they are hours later.
Try deleting your hotmail account and then adding it back as an Outlook account instead of "other". It worked for me.

My iPhone 6 wont come on when home button is pressed and screen pixels out and fades. Any one have fix or same problem?
When I press the home page the screen activates but stays black. I have to press the side button to turn if off then may have to repeat several times to get my phone to come on. Sometimes while using the phone the screen will become pixelly and start to fade away leaving a white screen with vertical line on it. I have to use the close button to make it go away.If one of the two major buttons of your phone is broken, it is unfair to expect normal operation to be available. The first resolution to any problem involves a usable Home button, as does the second option for resolving any problem. Get your Home button fixed.

So, if you select one of these songs on the iPods screen, and try to play it, what happens? The iPod does nothing? It skips to the next song?
It's possible you will have to do a Restore on the iPod, if there is data corruption on the iPod causing this problem. The Restore erases the iPod, and removes any corruption.
NOTE: There may be a hardware problem, such as the iPod's hard drive becoming unreliable, that is causing this problem and data issues. It may continue to operate as long as its data stays mostly unchanged, but if you do a Restore to update the hard drive's data in a major way, it is possible that the Restore will fail and leave the iPod non-operable. -

Some songs in my Ipod classic get get off after a few seconds of playing, but they work fine in ITunes and other Ipods. I have reset the classic several times and same issue happens, any ideas?
I have that exact same problem! It plays albums fine. But individual songs including ones downloaded from iTunes either skip or play the music of another totally different song. All play fine on iTunes and my iPhone... Got this one to replace my dying 5th gen classic.
I hope there is a fix for this, cause it *****!!!!
