My ipod wont turn on. i thought it was just dead, but i left it in the charger for about 4 hours and it still wont turn on. what should i do?

my ipod wont turn on. i thought it was dead, but i tried putting it in the charger and i let it charge for 4 hours and it still wont turn on. i tried multiple chargers and also tried plugging it in 2 different computers. what should i do?
