Ever find a real solution to this? I just posted something similar - been having the issues ever since I started using the mac.
I have 5 mac accounts: 2 of those are admins.
After I installed every program I may possibly want, I redid all my user accounts (as I had been having a lot of permissions issues before that). My (admin) account downloads fine. Another admin account, set up exactly as mine, periodically gets prompted that it doesn't have the right to download.
To avoid duplication, I have a /common/music directory for all itunes accounts music. We have to periodically do a recursive permissions deal on the 2nd admin account so it can put music there, even though that directory is read/write for everyone. Apple's never been able to help me on this...

Thanks for the question. (-50) is a timeout error that can occur when downloading content or when simply trying to access the iTunes Store. If you have automatic downloads enabled, you may be experiencing this error when iTunes is attempting to automatically download available content.

I already provided my 3 digit CVV number but Itunes again need to confirm the code whereas on my Office Computer I am purchasing Apps on Itunes without verifying my billing information again and again except once at the time of creation of account.

Try the following steps,
Sign into your computer and removal of credit card information. Here are the steps:
1) Open iTunes and sign in to the iTunes Store.
2) Select "View My Account" from the Store menu.
3) Enter your password and click the View Account button.
4) Click the Edit Payment Information button.
5) Select "None" as the payment type.
6) Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.

To ensure your account is functioning, try downloading a free item from the iTunes Store. Once it searches for photos containing (insert name) and says "(insert name) maybe found in 1,750 photos". I click to confirm the said person and it highlights the photos already found in that persons "folder", which already contains 662 photos AND it does not show any of the unconfirmed photos. Did you log out of one account and into the other or just used Fast user switching?
Is the permissions set to anyone?
When you move data to teh Shared folder is it copied or just moved?
If copied then it's not a folder both can access, just a way station like a USB thumb drive that things are coped too and off of likely.
You can run this #5 on each user account to reset the user permissions once they are taken back out of the Shared folder

Your iPad, or the iTunes Store?
If it's the Store, then as Malignance states, change your settings for the store.
However, if it's "the iPad", or an application or web site you are using, then that may be due to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Some ISPs, such as AOL, sometimes connect you to the world via their American based servers and not the UK ones, casuing any site you visit to think you are in the USA. If so, you need to work out how to get your ISP to set the record straight.

How to set up Windows with Reader and certificate for all users

Good afternoon (GMT),
we're dealing with a Win XP (SP3) system that is set up by an Administrator. One task is to set up the system in a way that all users (w/o admin rights) become able to read a certified-protected PDF. Currently we know a way to install the "public key" for this certificate only for one known user. But how to proceed when not all users are known? The users shall later on never be asked to confirm the certification installation/registration.
If it helps, here is the software version:
Acrobat 8.12 to encrypt the PDF via certification. In near future I will switch to Acrobat 9.x
Reader 7.x and/or 8.x on customer PCs.
Thank you for ideas and hints.
BTW: Next time we want to provide a solution for Win7 systems, too.

It is referring to purchases made using an Apple ID that was set with that email as the Apple ID. Did you simply create a new Apple ID when the old email address was no longer being used? If so, then that old Apple ID is still tied (and will always be tied) to the purchases made with it, and you will have to sign into iTunes with that Apple ID in order to authorize the computer to it.
If you don't remember the password for it, you can go to Manage your Apple ID and click on Reset password. If you don't remember the answers to your Security Questions, you can contact Apple Support to get them reset:

I've been having the same problem on my iPad and iPhone. I talked to Apple customer service this morning. They had me do the following on both devices in the Settings:
* Sign out of iTunes & App Store
* Sign out of FaceTime
* Sign out of Game Center
* Delete iCloud account
They also had me restore my iPad due to some glitchy behavior in the Music app.
Things seemed to me fixed for a few hours until I went into the iTunes Store app on my iPad and added a movie to my Wish List. When I went back to the Music app, the dreaded "Sign In to iTunes Store" popup started showing up again on both devices. Suspicious!
So, I cleared out my Wish List in both the iTunes Store and App Store. I've been poking at the Music app on both my iPhone and iPad since then I haven't seen that popup once since then. I'm not going to declare victory yet since it's only been an hour or two, but I thought that this was worth mentioning.

I'm running Win7 and iTunes 10.5. After the latest upgrade, iTunes will not launch. Everytime I attempt to launch iTunes, it asks to accept the user license agreement, I accept, and then iTunes does nothing.

I meant that there isn’t any box where I can accept the terms etc. - when I ‘ve downloaded it said “ by clicking on Install you agree to accept the terms and conditions “
Anyway now I’ve cancelled some plug-ins from the library and it seems it works

If you have music that was purchased on different iTunes accounts than the one you use, then you must provide the password, otherwise the tunes are not considered yours. You can turn off iCloud and just use the usual USB sync method. But I wonder whether you'll have the same problem?
