My itunes library is constantly resetting itself. I really don't know what is wrong with it I have ran virus checks and nothing is on my laptop. Anybody got any idea?
Hi my itunes library is constantly disappearing, I really don't know what is wrong. It keep happening everytime I turn my laptop off, I thought I had solved the problem the other week however it has started back up again. I have a Sony Vaio laptop and have read on the discussions that this can occur but all the solutions I have read haven't seemed to solve it. Anybody else got an idea? I would be really grateful for the help!
See this post. Seems that AVG is the most likely cause. They are promising a patch tomorrow.

I'm guessing you did not buy the iPad from Apple. If you did not buy it from Apple, it may very well have an older software version. Only iOS 5 or later is PC independent. If you have an earlier version, a computer with iTunes loaded is required.

I am having a problem with my Mac OS X 10.7.5 mac book air , there are constant pop pups and small windows with ads blinking constantly opening up on my safari in front of everything?? it is constantly interupting me and makes me mistakingly click on it then another new windows open behind the one im using..

I have OS version 4.2.1, but can't download paid-for apps because they require OS 4.3. Also, it said in iTunes that my device was already up to date... Am I going crazy, or is there going to be an update?

Why do you assume that this problem is a "bug" that Apple has to address, and not a problem with your phone, that you need to address. Do you see others having this specific problem?
Try:
1. Reset phone (no data loss): press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears

thank youBack up all data to at least two different storage devices, if you haven't already done so. One backup is not enough to be safe. The backups can be made with Time Machine or with a mirroring tool such as "Carbon Copy Cloner." Preferably both.
Boot into Recovery mode, launch Disk Utility, and erase the startup volume with the default options. This operation will destroy all data on the volume, so you had be better be sure of your backups. Quit Disk Utility and install OS X. When you reboot, you'll be prompted to go through the initial setup process. That’s when you transfer the data from one of your backups.
Transfer only "Users" and "Settings" – not "Applications" or "Other files." Don't transfer the Guest account, if it was enabled on the old system. Test. If the problem is still there, the cause is external to the machine, or else you're dealing with a bug or a hardware fault.
If the problem is resolved, reinstall your third-party software cautiously. Self-contained applications that install into the Applications folder by drag-and-drop or download from the App Store are safe. Anything that comes packaged as an installer or that prompts for an administrator password is suspect, and you must test thoroughly after reinstalling each such item to make sure you haven't restored the problem. -

When I open iTunes, it will not allow me to preview or download TV shows. The preview and download options are gray and will not let me view them. Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions. Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.
