Click on the iPhone Subsection, then go to the music subsection, and remeber to enable the sync music. When you are done, click on the APPLY button on the lower right of iTunes. Afterwards, sync your iPhone. Hope this helps!

You can delete apps from itunes by going to the Apps section of the Library NOT the sync page. Select App and delete. It will then be gone from the App Sync page as well.

So i have an entire album of music that wont play because it says i need to verify this computer. Well i did that and it said it was already verified. So i tried again and it said i needed to verify it again and so on and so on into infinity. Also it wont let me re-download the album because i dont know. I have no idea what to do at this point. I have a new IPAD4 which has synced pictures i selected but not music or films i selected from itunes library? I have had an account for years and never had issues syncing with iphone or ipod? when i attempt ipad the data shows and it cycles but nothing?

show the data shows whe i selet for sync (i have ticked sync only ticked icon) and selected two playlists - the data usage shows an extra 3.2 gb off my 32g ipad and the movies show up purple on the data usage bar, i press apply / sync it takes 20mins to go through 5 stages - never once do i see a song title or number in the update display. then when it finishes the data usage bar goes back to the lower amount before i tried to add the music and movies to my ipad?? The only thing that i have managed to move if pictures??

when i go through the summary section it says i have selected 757 songs (off two playlists) and i movie (from a digital copy via itunes), they show in usage bar b4 sync but then after sync nothing! i have tried both wi fi sync and normal, i have the lastest updates and CANT FIGURE THIS OUT
When i set up the ipad out the box the other day it asked whether i wanted a NEW INSTALL or RESTORE FROM ICLOUD BACKUP (presumbly off iphone), I choose restore, it then downloaded all the apps and web history/bookmarks etc, although it took about 8 hours to do it which i thought was odd?!

Hi. I have a U2 ipod photo. Recently have had alot of problems with songs dissapearing and i had to reset IPOD everytime. I bought the my ipod in the US 2 years ago with the "Complete U2 set" installed on the ipod. All the songs that came with the special edition ipod.
The consultant in the store loaded all the songs for me as we can not do it thru Itunes via South Africa with and SA credit card or login. So i read all the online help files and made a backup disc of all my "purchased songs" which is the U2 collection.
Now i can not get the songs back on my ipod and i cannot play them on my machine. Said im not authorised. Gives me a login request with this email addres "[email protected]".
Have been trying to contact apple, but i cannot find an address to email to ask for help. If i start my itunes and insert the backup disc it puts on the music in my library, but i cannot move it or change it.
PLEASE HELP.

You are out of luck for non-Tunes purchases. The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

I mean, when I load my itune library as usual and the syncing starts, I get the problem as described as follows;
When I try to sync, I see the songs being copied then I get a message, say after about 45minutes, that, itunes cannot read the ipod contents because the ipod data drive is corrupt. I have tried different things to no avail. It is very fraustrating, and if I may say so, very disturbing.
I hope somebody can help me, for I can see now that, many people have got similar problems and they haven't been able to solve. I understand this is a common ipod problem and many people have had to abandone their ipods after such problems. It is very hurting because ipods are very expensive to buy, and so to write it off like that is very dis-heartening.

Family Sharing won't work because I have two separate accounts for iCloud and iTunes

I have two Apple accounts, one that is connected to my iTunes Store purchases, and another for iCloud. I had to do this for reasons related to transitioning from the old MobileMe service to iCloud a few years ago.
So now with Family Sharing, if I use my iTunes account, I can't share calendars or other iCloud type information, and if I use my iCloud account I can't share my music and app purchases.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Can I combine everything into a single account somehow?

Under "Setting up Family Sharing" here: https://developer.apple.com/icloud/documentation/family-sharing/ it says:
"You can accept a Family Sharing invitation from any compatible iOS device or Mac where you are signed into iCloud. Or, if the organizer is nearby, they can simply ask you to enter your iCloud Apple ID and password during the setup process. To complete setup, you will also confirm the Apple ID you use for the iTunes, iBooks, and App Stores so you can share your purchases with family members."
This suggests that you can specify a different ID for the iTunes store if you aren't using your iCloud ID for purchasing.

What happens when you try to play it in your iTunes library? Does it appear under the audibooks section?
Is your iPod configured to sync audiobooks from under its Audiobooks configuration tab? To find this tab, plug your iPod in and click on it under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This should bring you to the Summary tab. From there, look for the Audibooks tab and make the appropriate configurations to get it over to your iPod.

Is "Sync Apps" in the apps tab checked? If it is and they still won't sync, uncheck it then run a sync, then recheck it and run the sync again. If that doesn't help, on the phone itself, go to your app store, tap on updates, then go to purchased, and tap the cloud button next to them to redownload.
