My itunes wont let me sync music onto my ipod touch, even though i have a ton of music on my touch already
My itunes is currently empty with no music in the library when i try and add music by dragging and dropping. (which used to work) i try and sync but it dont copy onto my touch. Any ideas?
I have tried restoring the ipod and also re-downloading itunes.
You can only drag and drop if you have iTunes configured to manually manage music. With the iPod connected to the compute go to the Summary pane for the iPod and check the box under Options that says sync only checked songs and videos.

I open my iTunes and it works fine, but when i connect my iPod (Touch) a message appears saying "Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." It gives me a choice to "Send Error Report" or "Dont Send".
Ive tried both but nothing happens. It just closes down iTunes.
I havent been able to sync any music or videos etc. to my iPod for at least a month now.
Ive tried uninstalling iTunes, and re-installing it but the same problem happens again and again.I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried dozens of times to sync it within the past 2 days and it won't work. It's really frustrating. Help....Please....anyone???

My itunes wont let me put music onto my iphone or take music off. Everytime I go to sync it it says I dont have enough space but I clearly have more than enough space left. I also am trying to take music off of my iphone so I can put new music on but everytime this box pops up and I really dont know what to do.
I think you have misunderstood the message you see.
The message states that you need an additional 1.93GB as well as the 3.93GB shown in the capacity bar. So it requires a total of 5.86GB.
There are a couple of things you can try:
Click on the OK button (in that message) and then deselect the media that you wish to remove. Once you have un-ticked the Playlists, or albums or whatever, click on the Sync button again to allow iTunes to Sync. It will then remove the un-ticked items, leaving space to add the 5.86GB that you are trying to add. If you continue to see the same message, but with a smaller additional amount required, then you have not deselected enough items.
Check how much space is being used by the "Other" category (shown in the capacity bar). While there will always be a small amount of Other on an iPod, anything over 1GB is probably not correct. Usually, a Sync will sort this out. If it doesn't then you may have to perform a Restore procedure, but I suggest you use that only as a last resort. -
My itunes wont let me download podcast to my ipod, and i have a podcast account for bob and tom, i have them download to itunes but cannot get them to the ipod. I dont know if its my my computer or my ipod.

i am trying to sync songs onto my ipod but itunes is telling me i have no more memory because i have 544 songs when i have no contex in my music. how do i solve this?
Assuming the songs play in iTunes
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync

I purchased an ipod shuffle (5th generation I think). It is recognized by the computer and recognized by itunes but will not sync with itunes. Ran diagnostics and all passed but when it got to the sync test, it says "ipod touch, iphone, or ipad found". When I put on earphones, it tells me to sync with itunes. But it will not. What a person to do?

Yesterday, I went to Target and bought From Death To Destiny (Asking Alexandria's new album)
I then added it to my itunes but it wont let me add it to my phone..

Itunes wont let me sync my ipad.
Ok here is what happened. I am traviling and I am at a relitive's house and she has a old computer, I mean old,old but it works pretty good and its not slow at all. So I wanted to buy a song but on itunes on windows so I can later put it in my iphone and ipad(back home I have a hp pc that is from a new generation adn is fast and I buy songs there and later connect my ipad, iphone and I sync everything just fine.) So I download Itunes on my relitives computer and buy the song then I connect my ipad and then after 2 min a message pops up saying apple camrea(its the ipad 2) app camrea connections then a box say choose to work with camrea. But in the box there is no thing to click then on the bottom it says click ok but I cant because you can only click it if you select something then next to it says cancle and on the top(its a square box) there is an x and a ? but then I click x (i have clicked cancel)(I tried more than once) then after a while of waiting( it looked like it froze) devices show up and it say my ipad and when I try to drag the song i bought to the ipad it just frezzes or just does not go and i connect and disconnect and it wont work. What do i do?!?!?!?!
and if i go to my computer and log in wih my apple account will the song still be there???what do i do to get that song on my ipad and on my iphone while im out of the county(USA)?

Itunes wont let me sync new games
When i try to sync the games I just bought(song summoner) i get a message saying that if I do it will replace all games on my ipod with the games in my library, but the problem is my ipod video came with several simple games(Brick, Parachute, Music Guiz, and solitaire) preloaded on it, will it delete these games if I ok the sync or will they be ok, and if they will get deleted is there anyway get my new games onto my ipod without losing the preloaded ones?
Thanks for your help!If you mean the built in games( and I think you do), they can't be deleted. If you mean games that someone else put on your iPod before you bought it, they would be deleted.

iTunes is not syncing new music from CDs that I've downloaded only syncs music purchased from iTunes. Is this on purpose? Or another flaw with updates? Anyone have suggestions or fixes?
I'm having the exact same problem, a total pain in the a$$. I tried restarting my computer and my iPhone to no avail. I have a MacBook pro and iPhone 4S and both are totally up to date software-wise. I would really like to listen to my music though.....
