My Itunes would not update. The I was told to uninstall everything. Now I can not install Itunes, there is an error everytime. How do I fix this? Please help me!

It started with my itunes not being able to update and it said errors. Then I uninstalled multiple programs the forums told me to do. Still had errors trying to uninstall. Then tried to reinstall, errors. Then tried to go back and restore my computer to a previous time when Itunes was working. It has disapeared. The programs I have tried to "repair" in ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS are:
ITUNES
APPLE APPLICATION SUPPORT
APPLE SOFTWARE UPDATE
BONJOUR
QUICKTIME
The error says: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
I thought I uninstalled all these programs, but they are still there, yet I can't find Itunes to open it. I tried connecting my Ipod to see if Itunes would open and it won't.
The only thing I can think of is to wipe out my whole computer to the basics and start over?!?!
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS AND I CAN'T FIND A SOLUTION ON THESE FORUMS. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I downloaded MICROSOFT FIX IT PROGRAM (IT'S FREE) and I REALLY RECOMMEND IT!

IT FIXED MY ERRORS FOR INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING. I WAS NOT ABLE TO PROPERLY UNINSTALL ITUNES/BONJOUR ECT.
THEN I REINSTALLED AND IT WORKED!
I have trying to updat my itunes for almost a year I think. So I am excited!!!!

The utility app is an "assistant PKG installer." It allows Lion and Mountain Lion users to install the older QT MPEG-2 Playback Component installer PKG file which is not allowed to run on its own under Lion or Mountain Lion since these operating systems already have a QT X only MPEG-2 component embedded in the QT embedded structure. As to your "discussion" regarding the playback of AVI file types, there are really only two strategies here:
1) You can add component support so that QT can play the files natively or

In most cases, conforming the system's codec component configuration to play the source file directly results in higher video quality since no transcoding takes place but this strategy will not work if a codec which is required is not available for the user's operating system. As to what converter to use, once again this is a matter of personal choice. I personally prefer the free HandBrake app for AVI, MKV, TS, MTS, and M2TS conversions since it has an exceptionally full-featured X.264 GUI with some user options that 97% of users are likely to never use.

The only links that are usable are the ones I had on a Yahoo toolbar on my IE homepage which I never deleted or changed during this whole process. I've tried System Restore and a ClickFree Restore. All the Clickfree did was put hundreds of icons on my desktop that look like they go on from here to timbuck two. System Restore said the restoration failed - numerous times. The Solution: Tools - Internet Options - Program Tab ... and there was the Default Web Browser option. It said that IE was NOT the default browser. I changed that and IT WORKED.

Sign in with the Account you used to purchase the apps, or that you first used when you registered at the App Store. Oher than that you need to contact App Store support. They're the only ones who can fix account issues.

Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad? If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.
You can also download the programs again.

Its not telling you to update your iPad, its telling you you need to download a recent version itunes on your computer.

I have also noticed the same "problem". I do not fully understand the impact of using the same ID on multiple computers and devices if I want to keep them all in sync.

By calling iPod tech support while you are under warranty. You also have 14 days to return it w/no questions asked for a replacement or your $$$ back.
