My java is installed but not working

My java is installed and it was working fine a couple of days ago but when i went to restart my computer my java had stop working. I checked to see if my enable java was checked in the security tab, and it is but it's still not working? Is something wrong with my Mac? since i had restarted my safari i'm thinking that was the issue.

Check if your bank has a app for the iPad. It sounds like you are trying to use the bank's web page/site rather than using an app.

  • Flash Player installed but not working....

had a virus 3 days ago which was resolved with assistance from Microsoft.  Now Adobe Flash does not work (when I go to Youtube, it says I do not have the latest version.  I have unistalled, restarted, installed at least 10 times.  Sites still say I need the latest version.  I do see Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X in the programs in my control panel.  I have downloaded version 10.1.102.64.  I am running IE8 (i assume 32-bit since it does not say 64-bit) on Windows Vista.  I have checked the files in my windows/system32/macromed/flash folder and it show the following files:
    Flash Player Trust folder
    Flash10I.ocx
    FlashInstall
    FlashUtil10I_ActiveX.dll
    FlashUtil10I_ActiveX
    install
I had turned off my Norton AV and firewall. I have also made sure that all security has been set to medium at that java scripting shows as enabled...
Flash player still does does not work: says I need to install latest version on websites (youtube etc.)
    HELP!!

Hi, I see you've been on quite a few forums advocating Firefox & Chrome. All this does is give them a browser that perhaps Flash Player would be performing as it should. But it doesn't solve their issue with IE.
And referring users to follow procedures meant for another user under different circumstances and computer configurations
is not in their best interest.
All you are doing is confusing the person, since the required information about their computer has not been obtained.
You may want to rethink posting referrals, I could do that myself, since I'm on a lot of threads here.

  • Flash Player 10.1 installed, but not working in any browser, or showing up on C:

I recently updated my flash player, however since then, websites requiring flash do not seem to fully load. However, it should also be noted that there is no notification indicating I need to install the software. Sites such as youtube will load, but fail to display the video I want to view, and showing only a black box. Also, sites I need for my HSC preparation are not working, such as the Board of Studies Online Multiple Choice, and Maths Online. The web page will load, indicating "done" in the bottom left corner of the screen, but the screen will be white.
    I have tried the following:
    un-installing, and re-installing (numerous times)
Restarting the system after both un-installing and re-installing
Checking all mentioned websites on three browsers --> Firefox 3.5.11, IE 8, Google Chrome. All presented the same outcome: blank pages etc.
Ensuring that flash was enabled in all above browsers
My operating system is 32 bit; Vista (Have checked this file--  C:/Windows/System32/Adobe -- and found that the flash player files are absent despite being 'told' it has successfully installed. After which the 'movie'/'f' symbol does not show up in the installation check online)
I assume all the above browsers are 32bit as well, however I'm not sure how to check this.
Please help... I have been searching forums for hours and trying various methods to attempt to fix the problem myself, but have been unsuccessful. It has become increasingly frustrating with the approaching HSC only a couple of weeks away !

There is no flashinstall.log file in that folder. There is a FlashInstall file that opens in Notepad when I click on it.  The contents of that file are below.  Does this give you any clue as to what is wrong?  It is WAY beyond my techincal competence.

  • Why can't I get help from you people? Thunderbird is installed, but not working.

I carefully followed the directions for installing Thunderbird. I am running WinXP pro. Thunderbird is there but not functioning. I am 78 years old and I need help from you re: install. I am not going to pay $$$$$to get a computer tech to come to my home and install Thunderbird. I had no trouble installing Firefox, but Thunderbird is an absolute drongo. Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or email me a number to call. I need human help. PLEASE! Thunderbird just sits there but gets no mail.
    Regards, Sara

This appears to be your first post here and you have not provided much detail to work with. This is the Thunderbird support forum. No one is going to call or email you other than the spammers that get your info that you posted in a public forum.

  • True caller is installed but not working please let me know the setting.

i installed true caller in my 5s but the caller id is not working and its not showing caller detail while i received any unknown calls.

Contact the developer of true caller for assistance.
Be advised that certain wireless providers do not send the information
needed for caller ID when the caller has blocked his number or is spoofing
    it.

  • Deploying web dynpro java application successfully but not working

    Hi all,
I have a web dynpro java application. When I deployed in my local portal (7.10 SP6) it is working fine. But when I deployed in another portal (7.10 SP2) it is not working totally. In system default trace I saw below exception:
Failed to create deployable object 'sap.com/a1sbicbc~unv' since it is not a Web Dynpro object.
It seems that the web dynpro application was not deployed anymore, but in deployment UI I can see the package was deployed without any errors.
In this situation, is there any other portal/java engine configuration which may prevent the web dynpro application being deployed? For example deployment or security policy, etc?
    Looking forward for replies.
    B.R.

    Hi,
Try to undeploy the application from the server
    Then deploy it

  • Flash is installed but not working

My mac has flash installed, but it won't work at all, and I can't seem to uninstall it.

This [https://www.google.com/search?q=nplightsparkplugin.dll&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8num=100&gws_rd=ssl Google search] has many links which indicate that LightSpark is a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) or even call it a "virus". ''And after looking thru the first 4 pages of that search I don't see anything that I would feel comfortable recommending as a "fix".
Now, the silly thing is that what I think would be the "homepage" for that plugin - "A free, open source Flash player" - http://lightspark.github.io/ - says that LightSpark is for Linux and makes no mention of a Windows DLL being available. IMO, a strong indication that you have Malware on that PC.

from past 6 months am suing Firefox. yesterday morning, when i tried to open, it was not working. i clicked on Firefox logo, but there was no response or any error messages. i reinstalled it. but still not working.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • Flash Player X installed but not working (6MB file instead of 15MB)

I installed version 11 Active X 11.5.502.135 BUT it is only  6MB file and should be 15MB so it does not play videos. It did not hang up during installation (download timeout) but went right ahead and installed but it cannot be the full deal. I have unistalled older versions and started fresh but no go. Can anyone help please?

Thanks for looking at my problem Pat.
    1) In the list of programs in the control panel. The Flash Player file
is 6MB but in the Adobe site
download button it says the file size is 15MB.
    /Name/___/  Publisher Installed        Size             Version/_
Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX        Adobe Systems Inc. 12/11/2012
    6MB       11.5.502.135
I thought maybe it is only partially downloaded or partially installed.
    2) I should say nothing plays. I get this screen always:
The Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback.
Get the latest Flash Player <http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/>
    What do you think?
    Thanks again,

  • Latest QT & iTunes installed, but not work correctly

I had installed latest version QT7 & iTunes 6.05, however, both of them not work correctly. For QT, it can play video with "looping - delay & sound impediment" audio; the video seems ok. My iTunes has the same problem, I just wonder this is because of QT.
Hope some body can help me to solve this problem.

    hmmmmm.
    quit itunes and/or quicktime.
try opening your Sounds and Audio devices control panel. click on the Audio tab.
in the sound playback area there, click on the "advanced" button. click on the "performance" tab.
try moving the sliders towards full and best. click okay.
check on the sound quality in itunes and quicktime again.
    any improvement?

  • F.P.10,1,53,64 installed but not working

    Good day Forum
This is my first post - I am feelng my way.
I have followed instructions from eidnolb to yongola and seem almost to have installed Flash Player.
Adobe website adobe.com/software/flash/about/ tells me that I have version 10,1,53,64 installed but a
local website,www.sarsefiling.co.za, does not recognise this and keeps asking me to install this version of
Flash Player. Other websites also do not recognise that I have Flash Player installed so something is
    wrong with the installation.
The only clues I can find that might be causing the problem are :
      I.E.all add-ons - Shockwave Flash Object - enabled  version 10.1.53.64
Shockwave Active X Control -e enabled -version 11.5.7
                                                       BUT
I.E.loaded add-ons - only the Shockwave Flash Object - enabled
Control Panel-Add/Remove programs shows Acrobat Flash Player 10 Active X  but no file size is given.
My system comprises Windows XP Home with SP 3 and all Microsoft updates installed,I.E.8
version 8.0.6001.18702 and AVG Free version 9.0.851.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Thanks for your post No.3.
    I have 3 add-ons under AVG Technologies :
    Security Toolbar BHO
    Safe Search
    Security Toolbar
All the above are now disabled.
There is no add-on called Linkscanner (but Linkscanner is active on the AVG program screen)
After disabling the above I went back to the original website that wanted to use Flash Player and it still wants me to install it.
It might help here to give a list of all the other add-ins, all of them enabled :
