Layout not working in IE but fine in all other browsers?

I'm probably missing something very simple, but can anyone shed some light on as to why the a coloumn keeps jumping in IE but works & looks as it should in all other browsers.

AlexFirst thing - all webpages should have a doctype. Yours doesn't. Add one that is consistent with the code you have already used on the page (looks like HTML 4.01 Transitional). This will prevent browsers from rendering the page in quirks mode (a bad thing).
Second - don't use commas or spaces in file/pathnames:

Third - when you specify a font, do it as a family, not a single font. In your case, a computer that doesn't have Helvetica will default to Times New Roman, which is probably not what you intended:

iTunes says: connection denied, Safari says: web page not found, but every other web app I have can connect.

Do you have any proxies selected in your Network preferences?
If so, try unselecting them and retry Safari/iTunes. -
This is a recent development but I can not print anything from within Firefox. The print functions open normally, it is going to the correct printer which works..I can print from other browsers and applications. It acts like it is spooling and then a print error occurs and it won't print. I closed and reopened Firefox, opened it in safe mode, cleaned out history/cache/cookies, and rebooted twice. Nothing makes any difference. Also tried printing from the print preview which had the same result. I can print from all other browsers and applications without a problem so it must be within Firefox.

open a new instance of Firefox (ctrl-N). You will notice all is working now. Close the old instance, so whatever Firefox remembers as your last instance is the new, good one. Worked for me. This problem seems to have been around a while already, this fix dates from November 2010... -

The problem with my skype is that although I connect my headphones to the computer, the sound does not come through the headphones. The sound comes via the laptop speakers as if I am using the skype without any headphones. It becomes very inconvenient as everyone around me can then listen to my conversation. The headphones work fine with all other applications on my laptop like youtube, itunes or anything that I play on the laptop. It just doesnt work with skype. I uninstalled and installed skype again still the same things happen. Please help me out with this problem.@itsjustjp, what kind of headphones do you have?

My iPad Mini with retina display suddenly will not connect to the Internet. It shows full wifi bars, yet no web pages will load. My Internet is working with all other apple devices in my house. The iPad also no longer works with celluar data. I'm not sure what has happened. It was working fine a few hours ago. I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Flash player not loading on http but works on https
I have an issue where flash player shows "movie not loading" on http pages but works fine on https.
I am using windows 7 64 bit, ie9 64 bit, i have tried it with the latest firefox and chrome and i still get the same issue.
This started with flash player 10.3, the 10.2 version did not have this problem and all subsequent versions have the same issue. i am currently using the 11.2 version of flash.
Example: Any flash video on youtube with the address beginning with HTTP, the video screen is black and when you right click you get movie not loading and the correct version of the flash player. If you change the header over to HTTPS the video works fine. this wouldnt be much of a problem except when going to any other website that has flash as its main element but does not have an HTTPS version, you cannot use the page or its features.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, done a clean install, deleted all files and updated every area of my computer but this issue remains. I have read the forums here and done any suggestions listed to no avail and noticed many people have this type of problem. This issue has now been going on for almost 6 months. Can anyone help?

If so can you please move it to the correct location?I don't claim to know the solution to your problem, but in your situation I would try either or both administrator install methods: 1) Right-click the downloaded install file, choose "Run as Administrator" and install the software as usual. 2) Try using a different Windows account that you are positively certain has full administrator rights or the actual Administrator login name, install with that account.
Also, make sure you empty the browser cache before retrying the http pages. What about other browser settings, like security or privacy settings? Any add-ons or antivirus browser helper objects?
Do you only use Internet Explorer, or is this issue the same in Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari?

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

Why can I not print from pages but can if I copy to text edit, I get "printer off line message " from pages ? I use HP wireless printer .
Are you sure you have the right printer?
In UNIX/OSX printers are virtual links to devices and even with the same name can be trying to reach a printer via another network address, so it thinks it is another printer.

You can also try one more workaround for this by using PSE Organizer. The steps are as follows:
1. Create a facebook cover. In case you don't know how to creatw a facebook cover, please go through Photoshop Elements Help | Create a Facebook profile and cover picture
2. Save the cover with "Include in Elements Organizer" option checked.
3. Now, go to Elements Organizer and export that file.
- Select the cover photo.
- Go to File > Export as New File
- Choose format and location.
- Click OK.
4. Now, you can use this file to upload.
