My library is simply not appearing anywhere despite being logged in with same apple id
I have Apple TV 3rd gen. I have reset, updated, and checked all parameters I have seen in set up guides - I still cnnot get my main library from my macbook appear as a shared library on any of my devices (iphone4s, ipad2 or apple TV)? Can anyone suggest what else i can try?

Album listed as purchased in iTunes store, not appearing anywhere else.
About a year ago I purchased the album "Is This It" by The Strokes. I just recently purchased a new iPod Touch 64GB, and when downloading music to it, I realized that the ablum was not showing up in my library anywhere. It also doesn't apper in my library on iTunes on my desktop PC. However, when I check the iTunes store, it is listed as purchased. It doesn't even appear in the Purchased section of the iTunes store. I've noticed this with other albums as well, and single songs just not appearing anywhere in my libraries. What can I do?
Where exactly are you looking for it ? It won't show in your iTunes library unless you download it.
You should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it, I was over the first couple of days when trying it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -

thanks.Katrina, created test, copied ITL (I Tunes Library file?) across, did the shift thing, I Tunes opens with my songs, created a play list, closed I tunes, re-opened it, play list still there. Is that what you mean?
I think I have some other issues as well.
I Tunes says 2477 songs/485 artists, my I Pod has 300 more.
Windows explorer suggests 589 artists (I keep library organised) I've lost the connection to the "movie" folder.
Also despite songs appearing in the library, they won't play in I Tunes at all. Fine on Ipod (although not docked since this started), fine with other media. players in same location.
Is this a nightmare where I have to delete everything & start again?

I need to reload some songs as the backup did not include all. Following this article. Problem is that download icon does not appear anywhere. Using iTunes 11.01. Anybody seen this before?

I purchased all out of Denmark. My HD crashed and I reload it all. While doing this I had to install new iTunes, - this is the newest version 10.xx. The old version was probbaly 9.xx (cant remember). So the library files are from an old version, - but it does not look like creating a problem. I am now in Sweden, so iTunes was installed in Sweden, and I try to re-download my missing songs while being here in Sweden. However, - I belive I am connected to iTunes store in Denmark. ... (it takes 2 smileys for this, - if you get as far as to here and still have an overview.) -

Every couple of weeks I get this iTunes error after connecting iPod Nano 6th generation. Then it deletes my whole iPod content. I am running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise with latest patches, iTunes 10.2.2.14 and McAfee antivirus.
I tried to reinstall QuickTime + iTunes, clean the system and then reinstall. But this does not work. I also tried to create a brand new library. But no success...

My computer crashed when I was using Itunes. The library file appears to have been corrupted. You say you use your external drive but is the whole library on it or only your media? No matter, you will have to rebuild the library file:

The iTunes setup would finish (clicking the finish button and everything) but the icon will not appear anywhere in my laptop?
Try right clicking on your desktop then select new short cut from the drop down menu, find iTunes in the pop up window then click ok.

Kindly Help the same.. )So then this means your Energy Saver preferences are corrupted somewhere. I would at least backup your data in case something else gets corrupted by a damaged directory, or the hard drive is beginning to show signs of its dying, or you find you might later need to repair your directory. Regardless, I wouldn't update your software until you find out why your Energy Saver doesn't work properly with the only third party item being a display.

I am trying to connect to my uni wifi, and when i click on the wifi, it directs me to a log in page. However, the two boxes to enter the username and password do not appear. Can anyone help me with this???
You didn't say what you have already tried, but if you haven't already done so, power-cycle your router (unplug it for 15 seconds then plug it back in), then on your phone go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then try joining your wifi again.

I have upgraded to itunes 11.3.8. My library is showing, however I can't log onto itunes. I have logged in with my apple id, but it doesn't come up. Help?
When I click on itunes store within itunes, the screen comes up blank. I'm using a macbook pro.I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
Any help would be appreciated.
