How do I fix this? I have restarted my computer multiple times, **** it down, and ran a diagnostic test to tell me nothing is wrong and my computer is not running any applications. There is no reason for the fan to be on full blast! when I try to set the option to show my battery icon in the menu bar, it will automatically uncheck. How do I fix all of this?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

I can not uninstall firefox. it is not my computer since I am using internet eplr. right now. How can I solve this I like firefox and want to continue using it but this is a problem.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

A reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

When syncing any device, the device screen appears, but there is no text. How can I fix this?

When I connect my phone, iTunes shows the device. When you go to the device screen where you would see the serial number and the check boxes of what you're syncing, there is no text. The Sync and Apply buttons are there but no wording. The check boxes are there, but no wording next to it. So you don't know what you're syncing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but it still doesn't work. And it happens with all 5 devices that I sync.

That generally indicates trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system, shannon.
Unfortunately, it's a bit trickier to deal with on Windows 7 than other Windows operating systems. (The instructions by Vortical that usually fix it on Vista and XP can't be applied on a Windows 7 system.)

Are you on a PC or Mac? If it's a PC, close iTunes. Then right->click on the iTunes icon and choose Run as Administrator. Then resync your iPod and see if the error disappears.

I was on the feature page and went to an app now I am stuck in that apps info page. I have: purchased the app, closed the app stoe in multi-tastking and reopened it, reset the phone and Restored the phone and none of this has fixed it. Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it?

Changing genius did not work for me, but signing in and out of my Apple ID did.
Settings > Store > Apple ID > Sign Out
Then go back in to settings, repeat and sign back in.
