Video is synced from the computer to the iPhone via iTunes. You need to load the video into iTunes, make sure it is iPhone compatible before you do that, and once it is in iTunes, then sync to the iPhone.
Never said what computer OS you were using. Also, the computer processor, amount of RAM can make a difference with HD video. -

Connection timed out on imac now that i have macbook.
i have an imac which used to connect no probs to our wireless router. then i bought a macbook which connects fine but since getting it when i try to connect via airport on the imac it says 'connection timed out'. i have tried turning the macbook off, having out of the room and even out of the house and still the imac wont connect.

Please disable any anti-virus software that you may have running on the iMac.
Check your firewall settings on the iMac as follows:
System Preferences > Security
Click the Firewall tab
Enable all incoming connections
Try to connect. If still no luck...
Temporarily turn off the security setting on your router and see if the iMac can connect that way. -
ITunes could not connect - timed out
For the past year I've had no problems using iTunes and my Ipod. But for the past month I can't connect properly to iTunes. I get a message saying: "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct etc etc". Not sure, but this may have occurred after I installed AVG bug software. Anyway, what am I supposed to do to "make sure my network settings are correct?" Any help appreciated. Thanks. Lloyd

Restored Iphone = network connection timed out. HELP PLEASE.
So i recently restored my iphone. And when i restored it, it was doing fin until 3 minutes later an error poped up. it said "network connection timed out" im really confused about this and tried it multiple times and nothing happened. Okay, so i've tried to download it multiple times with multiple "solutions" but none have worked! I'm starting to get SO mad.. and aggravated. I just want this stupid update to update! Everytime it goes to finish it says error, network connection has timed out please check your connection and try again later. My connection is perfectly fine! I've disabled my anti virus and firewall while trying to update too.. no luck. I even downloaded the ios 5 manually from a site, but i dont know how to use that as my download. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I am going to go crazy.

MBP will not connect to internet PLEASE HELP;)
I have a MBP that will not connect to the internet. The airport shows an ip, but shows failed for internet and server. I have another laptop, desktop, ipad 2&3, iphone and 3 ipods connected to wifi and work flawlessly. I called the ISP and spoke with them for about 2 hours and they say all settings are right, and they can even see the MBP on their end. Can someone please help me, thanks in advance.
Wanted to add, i cannot connect with ethernet either, wired directly to modem by bypassing router.Your MacBook Pro does "see" your router, so it's either a problem with the passphrase (in this case, Ethernet shouldn't be affected, but it is), and you can bypass it by entering your passphrase again, preceded by the "$" sign (no quotes), or for some reason the MAC addresses of both your Airport and Ethernet chips on the MacBook Pro aren't cleared by the router. If you have MAC filtering enabled on the router, disable it, or if you must press some handshake button on the router, first disable Airport on your MBP, then presss the handshake button on the router, then enable Airport on the Mac again.
My money's on the MAC address filtering, though... There could be a certain number of possible MAC addresses the router can accept, and adding new devices in the household may have pushed your MBP out of the winners list somehow.
