Not to long ago my computer Hard Drive died, and I got a new one and set my computer up to run. I installed Itunes and recently got a update for my iPhone to 5.0. After an Itunes update Itunes now doesn't let me sync Iphone to computer because it says my computer is not authorized even though it is authorized.

After another lovely Itunes update my Itunes is now not letting me sync my Iphone to my computer. This is the error message I recieve "The Iphone 'Des's Iphone 5' could not be synced because this computer is not longer authorized for purchased items that are on this Iphone. It then tells me to authorize this computer even though it is already authorized. Also I can play all of my purchased itunes items on my computer even though it claims it's not authroized when I am trying to sync. After deauthorizing and reauthorizing numerous times and attempting many other things I have not been able to solve this issue. After looking through these disccussion forums I have not seen anyone with this same issue. I would appreciate any help anyone could provide.

are you saying that your computer is autharized from guessing, or do you know it is becuase it says it. in itunes, go to the advanced tab and the last option in that tab should be either aurhorize, or de-authorize. What does it say?

I uploaded a playlist onto my iPhone. After going into Music, and into the specific playlist, only one song showed up in the playlist. After that, I decided to search my phone to see if any of the other songs had made it on there. All of the songs that were supposed to be on my playlist made it onto my phone. Are you sure you have selected the PL? I too have had problems and then finally fiogured out which path to select to see the tunes. For some reason the PL got moved to a deeper level.

Home share will let me copy music but when I try to copy TV shows it says my computer is not authorized!

We have had home share set up for some time and it works great for sharing music but when I try to copy TV shows into my Itunes library it says my computer is not authorized even though it will then let me copy music. I have try to deauthorize and reauthorize my computer a few times and it does the same thing. Really frustrated as my husband has bought a lot of stuff I would like to use also.

If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you should definitely be seeing a plus sign after tapping Edit, so I would try a couple relatively easy things (closing the Music app, resetting the iPhone):
