My matched songs in iTunes on my computer show the artists, but some do not show up on my iPad or iPhone?
My matched songs in iTunes on my computer show all the artists, but most artists do not show up in Music on my iPad or iPhone? I recently fixed the song titles coming back from Match update changed to Track ** by going thru every song's info (command i) and typing in the song title manually (fortunately I had a hard copy of all my song titles and artists and only had about 160 songs to do) and that fixed the problem. Now, both the song titles and artists show in my iTunes, but NOT on my ipad and iphone Music (There are a few that show up). I tried to test my "re-typing artists" into info manually on a few, but it didn't work. I also tried adding "Single" or "None" to the albumn title, but no go. Any suggestions?

As you can see, all of the errors point to an issue with the security software on the computer. Temporarily disable that software or completely uninstall it.

My iPhoto library has suddenly disappeared from my computer.
When i click on iPhoto it tells me to choose my library or create a new one. However no library option appears. I have searched the computer for the library but it does not seem to exist anymore. I did not have time machine set up, so there is no back up. Is there any way i can retrieve my library?

Search for any file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the name. How can I add the name of my songs in my playlist without it telling me the artist is unknown in the database.I would like to add the name instead of it telling me the artist is unknown.
Right-click the track in your iTunes library. Choose Get Info, and go to the Info tab. Type what you want into the Artist field, and then OK out.

ITunes says my computer is already authorized, but it's not
I noticed that iTunes wasn't updating my purchases on my MBP so checked and it's not listed as an authorized computer in my iTunes account. But when I click "Authorize Computer" it's telling me it's already authorized. You can see from the screenshots that nnone of the the 3 computers listed are MacBook Pros. It's an old MBP running 10.6.8, don't know if that has any bearing. Anyone have any ideas?

When trying to restore or even contact itunes store my computer states the ipod softdate server could not be contacted. When I checked the setting everything look correct. I have just changed from using xp on my computer and now using windows 7 so I am a bit lost with the different layout

On i-pad, when I try to enable itunes match, it says, "you are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match. Use iTunes on your computer to subscribe." I am subscribed though! Then it says no to my request and, "item not available in the U.S. store." My Mac will not use update iTunes to any later version than the one I have because my os is also out of date, but when I try to update that i cant, so what do I have to do? Please don't tell me I have to buy a new Mac to be up to date.
On the iOS device you must be logged into the store with the exact same Apple ID you used to originally purchase the service. Go to Setting > iTunes & App Stores and if necessary sign out/in and then enable iTM.

I would like to share a tip about how to play a playlist one song at a time from iTunes on a computer. The tip I am sharing is simple, but I was not able to find it in the iTunes Help. After searching on the internet I found the idea for this solution in a discussion in which this was presented as a frustrating problem rather than a desired behavior. This tip relies on the checkbox for each song in iTunes. For a song in a playlist to play automatically, the checkbox must be checked. To keep a song from playing in a playlist, simply uncheck it. Therefore, to keep all songs from playing automatically in a playlist, simply uncheck them all. Now you have a list of desired songs in a desired order but none of them will play automatically. You can play each one when you want to play it without having to search for the next song and without having to be at the computer to stop the playing after each song.
Step by step:
1. Create the playlist.
2. Uncheck all of the check boxes in the playlist (In iTunes for Windows, ctrl click one of the check marks to uncheck all of the checkboxes at once)
3. Now double click (or select and press spacebar) a song to play it. It will stop when finished because there is no other song checked to be played next.
4. If you want to change back to normal sequential play, ctrl click one of the check marks again to change all of the checkboxes back to the checked status.
Based on some discussions I found while looking for a solution (including at least one in which the questioner got bashed about why anybody would ever want to do such a thing and in which the proposed solutions were things like creating one song playlists or simply press stop after each song), some may not understand why this would ever be desired. Here's why I wanted to do it:
I was responsible for playing a series of songs at a dance. I needed to stop after each song to have a transition time to allow me to introduce the next song and to give new dancers time to get onto the floor and other dancers an opportunity to leave the floor. Furthermore, I was also dancing and didn't want to have to spend time searching for the next song (which is why I wanted to create a playlist in advance with just the songs I wanted to play in the order I wanted to play them) and I wanted each song to stop after playing since I was not at the computer to press stop.
I hope this will help others who have a similar need.Thank you! I put some self help hypnosis tracks to listen to on my iPod. I did not want to go to the next track automatically, I wanted to listen to them individually, one at a time. (If I fell asleep, I did not want to 'wake up' in the middle of a different track.) Your information helps me understand that I need to re-load this playlist onto my iPod from my Mac computer, only first, I need to UNCHECK the boxes in front of each track so the iPod will STOP each time after playing the selected track. It is too bad that so many functions are not availabvle within the iPod, but that is probably why they can make it so compact.

Some of my songs on iTunes on my computer won't play. It asks for my Apple ID which I enter to authorize the computer, then it tells me it's already authorized but still won't play. Ideas?

I can't access iTunes Match or make any Music or app purchases or updates after updating to iOS 6. No matter how many times I've reset my iphone4 and reentered my account information I can't assess my music in iTunes Match or purchase or update any apps or music. How can I fix this. On enabled devices iTunes on my computer shows my iPhone with ? marks.

I am unable to play certain songs since itunes wants me to authorize the computer with an old email address I had when I first bought the songs. I don't remember that password and when I use my present Apple id and password it doesn't authorize the computer to play those songs. How do I get these songs authorized since there are a lot of them?
