My Message and Facetime won't let me sign in.

When i go onto the apps it's asking me to sign in. (it's never asked me to sign in) So my e-mail and password are already typed
in. I click sign in and it brings me to the page where it asks refferall. I click next because it's my correct e-,ail address, then it Veriffys for
a bit and brings me back to the sign in page. I've tried turning my iPod compleatly off and re-connecting my wi-fi but it's not working.
ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO TO FIX THIS???

Since upgrading to os x maverick, my FaceTime won't let me sign in and continues to prompt me to put in my iCloud password. It sometimes asks me to put it in 5-6 times and then it gives me an error saying that the program certification is revoked or expired. The best approach would be to take the iPad to the school's IT person and see what is going wrong, why it will not accept your sign-in.  That person can make sure the userid and password are correct on the iPad.

Reest my ipad and it won't let me sign in to my apple id. Saying that id is in use?

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Installed OS 7, now message and FaceTime won't allow me to sign in with my Apple ID

I just installed iOS 7, now messages and FaceTime will not accept my Apple ID to log in, keeps saying check your network connection and try again.  Network is there, I can get on line just fine...

And what happens when entering the Apple ID credentials?

  • IMessage and Facetime won't let me change apple id

Read through similar postings but can't find a solution.  When I try to change the apple id for both facetime and messaging i can get past the "sign in" screen, which takes me to the next page which verfies the email address.  But before I can click "next" it reverts to the "sign in" page.  This happens in both Messaging and Facetime.  I use the same apple id for iCloud on this device - no issues.  I've also tested this apple id on other devices and have had no problems.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    - When you go to Settings>Time%Date is it set to Automatic?
    - Go to Settings>wifi>the connected network and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8

  • App Store, Messages and FaceTime Won't Open

    I own a Macbook Pro (15-inch mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.9.5)
I was using my Messages App just this morning and all of a sudden it stopped working.
I have tried opening it from the Applications Folder as well as directly from my Dock.
What happens is the icon for the Messages App bounces several times (usually three after I press it the first time) and the screen will not appear.
The icon shows currently that I have three unread messages and even when I hold and click and try to open a "new message" or an "unread message" the screen won't open.
I tried several other apps just to see if this was an isolated incident, but I found that FaceTime, App Store and iPreview will not open either. They all bounce a few times, but they will not open a screen. My App Store even shows that there is one new update, but it won't open.
I have tried so many things from a lot of older threads but I am completely clueless on what to do.
    Can anyone help me?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

  • Messages and Facetime will not let me use my apple id

I recently downloaded Mountain Lion, and I actually got it to be able to have the Messages app, but when i tried to sign in with my apple id, it tells me everytime that "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." I have tried everything, and looked it up online, but every "solution" available doesn't work. My Date and Time settings are correct, and my apple id works on my iPhone 4s, but not my Macbook Pro (not working for Messages or FaceTime). This has been a problem for almost two months now, and I still can't find a solution, so please help! Thanks, Kate.

    Hi,
Some ISPs (the people that supply your internet) have porr DNS servers meaning that sometimes that cannot resolve where an app is trying to connect to.
In System Preferences > Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab add 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (two Google Public DNS servers)
If that does not work then go to the Apple Menu > About this Mac
In that Panel click twice on the line that tells you the Current OS versin.
It should change to the Build number (Another Apple Internal Counting of the OS version) and then show you the Serial Number.
If it is not present it will need "replacing" at an Apple Store or An Apple Authorised Service Provider.
The Number should be on the Logic/Motherboard.
If the board is replaced in a repair or refurbishment then the Number should be "flashed" to the new board.
If that does not seem to be the Issue have the Finder as the app in the Menu Bar
GO Menu > Go to Folder
Type etc/hosts into the Dialogue Box that appears.
This will show you a Hidden folder (etc) and a file called Hosts in it will be highlighted.
Right click the file and use the Quick Look Option to see the contents.
It should read like this  if it is unalerted.
Some apps can change this file and you can have blocks to certain sites for certain apps listed.
If it lists Apple or Verisign then the iMessages App cannot register.
Let use know if this is the case and we can give further instructions.
