My payment method is 'not valid in this store' when I've been using it for nearly a year now? I'm in the uk.
Today I was asked to sign in and check billin info when I tried to purchase an app, I entered my security code and it's now saying my payment method is not valid in this store! I've used the same payment method for about a year and have always used the uk store so I'm rather confused. All help is appreciated!
I don't know if this will work but go through the same procedure in the app store. You can access your ID at the bottom of the screen in the left hand corner of the featured tab. See if the correct region shows in there as well.
You can also check in the iTune app as well. You are using the correct Apple ID aren't you?
I have read that the iTunes stores can be very fussy about correct spelling of Street vs St., No. vs # - things like that. The billing address must match exactly the way that your credit card statement reads.
You can try signing out of your account in Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap sign out. Restart the iPad and then sign in again. See if that resets this whole mess for you.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I am suffering for long time with subjected error BUT UNFORTUNATELY iTune doesn't have any salutation for this which is strange, same Payment Method is working for old devices BUT NOT WORKING with new bought "Mac Book Pro" and now don't know where should I go or what should to do, anyway's my advice to all of them who are planing to buy new device or switch to other once MUST HAVE TO THINK this kind of error if accrued what will be happened...

Had this problem too. Findings:
1. The addresses on iTunes store and your Credit Card have to be the same
2. You have to be physically there too, because iTunes will say 'Your account is not valid for use in the xxx store (where you are in). You must swith to the ... store before purchasing'
3. You have to use the Credit Card from the country you are in as well !
I am an Australian in Malaysia.
Using Aus VISA, with Aus billing address
in Aus iTunes store - Aus address
Couldn't buy a Eurpoean app in Malaysia ---> Credit Card has to be a Malaysian credit card.
Tried switching the iTunes store and the addresses to a Malaysian address.
Still REJECTED !!!
iTunes still want a Malaysian credit card details.
Conclusion:
I can't buy any apps here in Malaysia with Australian details and credit card/s.
But I can use my VISA to buy foods at the restaurants here. So it is not the credit card's problem. It is Apple's problem!

I can not send email from my iPad . Have been using it for over a year, all of a sudden I can only receive email. I have a wifi connection in my home and have a A T &T cellular data plan?
I have a 1st gen iPhone that I just updated the software to 2.0.2
Now whenever I press the mail icon it goes to the mail app for about 4 seconds, does nothing, no loading of folders, old messages, nothing.
Then it reverts back to the home screen. Tried restarting, haven't tried restoring, thought I'd look here first.

I have downloaded the upgrade and attempted to move it from the application folder to the dock without any luck and when I ask help to check for updates I am told I do not have permission to install updates. I attempted to update FF a couple of months ago and when I encounter this problem I downloaded Safari and installed it. I have tried a couple times along the way to download the upgrade to FF without any luck.

• Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
• Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.

How do I import images. Have a message that says: The files are not recognized by the raw format suppot in Lightroom. Am using a Mac version 10.9.4. the import is from a new Nikon D610. Am using LR 4.4 Please help Adobe is useless as a support.
Each camera must be supported explicity and your LR version is years older than your camera.
According to Adobe's Camera-support page, you need at least LR 5.3 to work with your D610 NEFs in LR:

If you don't want to upgrade to LR 5, or can't due to your OS being too old, then it might work to use the latest DNG Converter and create DNGs from your NEFs, which should open in LR 4.x. You can find the DNG Converter here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates -
Pretty much what it says above.. I have re entered the account info in settings making sure I am using a US credit card with a US billing address, on a Sprint phone I bought in the US, but it still tries to redirect me to the Australian store even though I am logged in with the apple ID associated with my US account..
