  • New version of iTunes will not access the iTunes Store

I installed the latest upgrade 10.4.1 on my PC.  It will not access the iTunes store.  I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled several times.  Does anyone know where to reinstall an earlier version of iTunes?

  • ITunes 11.1.1.11 will not access the iTunes Store on Windows 8.

I had issues with the new iTunes since they made changes for iOS 7. Today I installed the updated iTunes 11.1.1.11 and still have issues with it on my Windows 8 computer. When I try to access the iTunes Store, it starts to load and when it is about to open, it errors out and shuts the iTunes program down completely.
Tried to delete iTunes. Rebook the computer, Reinstall iTunes and Reboot the Computer and tried to open the iTunes Store again with the same results.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 80073712, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?)

  • TS3297 Every time I open iTunes to listen to music, not access the iTunes Store, I get the password sign in box, over and over again. When I try to access the iTunes Store it does not except my password. This has happened since the last update.

Everytime I open iTunes to play music, NOT to access the iTunes Store, I get the password sign in box for the iTunes Store. If I click cansel the box pops up a second time.
When I try to sign in to the iTunes Store it does not except the password and pops up the sign in box afain, and again endlessly.
This started happening about two weeks ago.

if itunes will not run, you probably have mangled windows badly
one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device

  • I have Windows 7 64 bit, I downloaded iTunes 10 64 bit but can not access the iTunes store.  I keep getting I do not have a secure connection, which I do.

I have Windows 7 (64 bit) and iTunes 10.2.2.12.  I can access the web through Mozilla and Internet Explorer.  But, when I open iTunes I can not access either the iTunes Store or iTunes Help.  I keep getting a message that says the web connection is not secure.  I use a Intel wireless router that is secure.  I have tested my Norton program, but it is not Norton that is blocking iTunes.  What can I do?

  • I can not access the itunes store on windows 7

    Hello there,
This is the 3rd day that my daughters been trying to set up my iPod as my husband and I leave for Mexico on Tuesday.
To try and sort this out, she has tried EVERYTHING POSSIBLE... uninstall, re-install, checked for Quicktime uninstallation but our PC doesn't have it so that's not the issue, turning off compatibility mode, saving settings as administrator, reversing these settings, trying them again, starting from scratch... absolutely EVERYTHING Apple advises, we've tried.
    NOTHING is working AT ALL
For nigh on 2 hours (and that's just what has been spent today, trying to sort this out), this is what we get:
Just "Accessing iTunes Store" loading round and round and round at the top

  • Itunes will not load the itunes store

I have windows XP and intunes IS installed correctly. When try to load the itunes store or Ping through itunes, it loads halfway than freezes everytime. I can load every other tab (Library,Downloads,Purcased) and load just fine. I even unistalled and reinstalled but no luck. Any Ideas?

Same problem here, itunes loads halfway, then basically stops at a blank page which is where i started at to begin with.
    1) I've checked all firewalls and antivirus securities.
    2) I've restarted my computer and disabled all programs except for itunes
    3) check proxy settings
    4) reinstalled itunes
    5) ran "ipconfig" per apples recommendation.
    Still doesn't work. Need help!

  • Why can I not access the iTunes Store after downloading IOS 7?

I cannot enter the itunes store(where you purchase music, movies, etc.) on my iPhone 5 ever since I updated my phone to iOS 7. I even made sure my itunes was up to date on my computer which it is and I then plugged my phone into my computer hoping it would fix the problem which it didnt. Please help me out this is really starting to bother me.

    Try a reset ...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPhone. Then try the iTunes Store.
No data is lost due to a reset.

  • I can not access the Itunes store. It will show me half of a progress bar and then diappear, and nothing comes up.

I have already tried uninstalling, and reinystalling everything with Itunes in the ordered specified by Apple Support, and yet still no change. I made sure it was allowed through Firefox, and everything checks out.....I'm stumped. My only other thought is...I am wondering if it has to do with me installing Spotify. Anyone have a clue?

I tried turning off my accelerators, and still no change. I also tried to repair I tunes....no change.......I can update my ipods and do EVERYTHING else.....I just cant access the store. I tried something else today...dont remember exactly what it was, lol...but I got a message that said Itunes wasnt connected to the internet...so at least I know what the problem is....I just wish I could fix it..............

    Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
    Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
