My Phone is stuck in the zoom mode on every page
My phine is stuck in thezoom mode in every page from home tocontacts to un locking it. I can't gt itback to normal. I've tried powering it down to rebooting it. Can some onehelp.
I have the same problem as this person. My phone in stuck on the zoom mode. I can't get it unlocked so i can tap in twice with 3 fingers as you had described on your post. Kindly help me with this. Thank you in advance.

Restart your phone by holding the power/wake button and the home button for 10 - 15 seconds

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your device is in recovery mode. I understand you would like to back it up before updating to iOS 8.1 but cannot because you are in recovery mode. I would first suggest restarting your device to exit recovery mode.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you put your device into recovery mode by mistake, restart it. Or you can wait 15 minutes and your device will exit recovery mode by itself.

You can't. Either get your phone fixed at a third-party repair shop, or go to an Apple store & they will replace your phone for US $199.

Hold down the Home and Power button to shut off the iPhone. Keep it disconnected from the computer. Then, hold down the Home for 20 seconds. Connect it to the computer while continuing to hold down the Home button. Wait for iTunes to say your iPhone is in Recovery mode. Then, restore.

i hit the clear setting and content on my phone and now my phone is stuck on the apple sign and wont turn on or off

I think i found something this is similar but steps.
Hold power and home until apple logo appears then let go of home button and keep holding power button until screen is black or until it is on lock screen

My 32gig Ipod touch 3G is stuck in a zoom mode that I cannot remedy. It stays that way no matter which app I'm in. I have even completed a reset thru Itunes on my computer and still continues to be zoomed in which is a frustrating way to try and use my ipod.

Double Tap the screen with three fingers...
Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility and make sure Zoom is turned Off.
