my reading list was deleted all my saved website have gone. Is there any way to get them back please?
What model MacBook Pro? What operating system are you running? What browser are you using? You can get them back from your back up.

If you had backed up your iPad prior to deleting the Safari history, that history should be in the last backup.

You should be able to restore your iPad from the backup to restore Safari's history. -
I had a USA itunes card in my account and now I have shifted to the UK, I would like to shift my account and change my itunes store to the UK based store but cant do it as itunes card has got some credit left about $1.30. Please help.

There is nothing wrong with your Dell, it will work fine with any MacbookPro. I have been using Dell displays for over 12 years with many different Mac models. I have two 21" Ultra Sharp displays working side by side to design a Keynote presentation right now.
The issue your having is with the way Keynote takes control of the video output to both displays, it sends the presentation signal to one and the presenter display to the other, this is set up in;
Keynote preferences > Presenter display.
If you want to show a wesite or another app on either display, use application switcher:
press the the command key on the keyboard, then the tab key; a row of applications will show what applications are running, choose which one you want to show. Use command > tab to return to Keynote. -

Safari 5.1 in iMac OS X 10.6.8.Adding Bookmarks to "unsorted Bookmarks" folder puts them in a black hole. I can't find the "UB" folder. Where is it? Should I add it to the folder list somewhere on the left pane? OR? Help, please!
It looks like that the installation process of one of the applications have caused some trouble. One of them may have changed or added kext files.
For that, the Window server crashed if you try to open a non Apple application like Firefox
Start the system in safe mode by holding the shift key on power on.
If save mode is reached, perform a permissions repair with the Disk Utility.
Don't bother about upcoming warnings like "could not repair file xy" as that occur cause you use the tool on a running system and opened files can not get touched by the tool.
After repair is done reboot system to normal and try to open Firefox.
If the problem persits, please report back here.

Open the site in Safari, then tap on the arrow coming out of a box to open the action options.

I just got a new MacBook Pro, and I tried to bring across my files from my last mac using time machine. After it was done copying I can't find my files anywhere but the space (about 130gb) has been used on my hard drive. Does anyone know how I can get to them? I did change my user name from 'user' while it was copying, could this have something to do with it?
You don't want to do that by copying.
Your best bet, by far, is to use Setup Assistant. If your Mac is running Snow Leopard, see Using Setup Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.

My kid has "hacked" my AEBS security....HELP please!
I don' know how to set up RADIUS on my Airport Extreme, so implemented access control via MAC address of my teen's ipod touch, macbook pro and Xbox. But after the briefest of technical conversations with him about MAC address cloning, he's gone off and changed the mac addresses of his machines in the base station after somehow sniffing (or guessing the password on the AEBS). Then, after I tightened up that, he figured out how to spoof the MAC addresses of his machines (the ipod touch and macbook, anyway...don't know if you can do it on an Xbox).
How can I lock down the network without physically pulling the plug on the unit? There's got to be a way. Aren't these things used in business?
Ideas? I need help!He doesn't have access to the AEBS any more. But the Access Control List in the AEBS requires MAC addresses. If he spoofs an address on his Mac Book Pro, AEBS has no way of excluding it from the network AFAIK, short of restricting access to ALL. Am I missing something?
Also, as for all the other advice on parenting, well, thanks, but no thanks. I don't come to these forums for that. My son is a talented future IT Engineer/Coder/Web Designer, and while I understand that everyone who is offering advice here has or has had teens that do absolutely everything they ask, precisely when they ask, without any discussion, I've had as much fun with the cat an mouse "game" of locking down the network as I'm sure my son has had trying to break it. His savvy is just outrunning my own. I've chosen NOT to "discipline" him (certainly not physically), but instead to just get smarter than him.

I'm sure there are various ways to do this, but here's what I would do:
. Using whatever recording software you have e.g. MediaSource, you would need to connect a microphone to the soundcard and record the text you want to add to the CD.
2. If you want, edit the text so that it contains all that you need. This depends on the final quality of the file and whether it's got mistakes in it etc. The soundcard you have might have some editing software with it, but if it doesn't you can download and install the excellent freeware http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.
3. Then you need to compile the tracks on the CD for writing, so you would add each track to whatever CD software you use and add the text you've recorded as tracks before the relevant song.
I appreciate this is a bit general, but being specific is hard without knowing what software you have.
