  • Logo Component - Design mode shows the edit component toolbar don't show "Edit" button

    I just created a Logo component on my website following the CQ "How to create a Fully Featured Internet Website" guide.
    I do create the logo component, edited the jsp page with the following code
    <%@include file="/libs/foundation/global.jsp"%>
    <%@ page import="com.day.text.Text,
                     com.day.cq.wcm.foundation.Image,
                     com.day.cq.commons.Doctype" %>
    <%  String home = Text.getAbsoluteParent(currentPage.getPath(), 2);
        Resource res = currentStyle.getDefiningResource("fileReference");
        if (res == null) {
            res = currentStyle.getDefiningResource("file");
        log.error("path is:" + currentStyle.getPath());
    %>
        <a href="<%= home %>.html"> <%
        if (res == null) {
            %> Home Page <%
        }else {
            Image img = new Image(res);
            img.setItemName(Image.NN_FILE, "file");
            img.setItemName(Image.PN_REFERENCE, "fileReference");
            img.setSelector("img");
            img.setDoctype(Doctype.fromRequest(request));
            img.setAlt("Home Page");
            img.draw(out);
        %>
        </a>
    Then, I created the tag "<cg:include>" in my jsp page, calling this jsp.
    After all that, I created the Design Dialog for my logo component, then a "items" node under the tab1 node of the design dialog.
    After this, finnaly, the widget node (absParent), under the items created before.
    A lot of propertys later, I got my Logo object in the page, but the toolbar with the "Edit" button on Design mode don't show me the "Edit button"
    Someone can tell me how to get the button there?
    Is some property that I may have forgotten?
    Thanks.

    Basically, the edit toolbar has the same with as your component, which indeed is problematic for narrow components.
    But you can work-around that with a basic CSS hack:
    .cq-editbar {
        min-width: 200px !important;
        _width: 200px !important; /* IE6 */
    This seems to be fixed in CQ 5.5.

  • Af:table filtering(inputDate) don't show results for a specific search date

    Hi again to every one.
    I have a database table as :
    sql> describe YES_NO_DATE_TEST
    FECHA TIMESTAMP(6) --> param search
    DESCRIPCION VARCHAR2(200 CHAR)
    VERIFICADO VARCHAR2(1 CHAR)
    I created my Bussines Components, I have a search page, I drag and drop this DataControl as af:table, called : YES_NO_DATE_TESTView1, to a jspx page ( search page ), I enabled sorting and filtering properties in the af:table .
    af:inputDate value="#{vs.filterCriteria.Fecha}" id="id1">
    <af:convertDateTime pattern="#{bindings.YesNoDateTestView1.hints.Fecha.format}"/>
    </af:inputDate>
    I run the search page, and show me a : af:inputDate , for choose and put a date.
    but, when I choose a date, and press the enter key, the search result by af:inputDate, do not show me nothing.
    How I can solve that ?
    Note :
    In the UI Hints of View Object I put this properties :
    format type : simple date
    format : dd-MM-yyyy
    I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0

    wht is the database column type..??
    It's a TimeStamp Type. ----> FECHA TIMESTAMP(6)
    what is the query that is getting executed in the backend... when you do the search... ?
    My query in the server is :
    Select
    FECHA,
    DESCRIPCION,
    VERIFICADO
    FROM YES_NO_DATE_TEST;
    are you getting the expected results when you run the query..??
    Yes , I m . The query above is made for the View Object. But I don't why when I put a date in the af:inputDate the search don't show me the results that I hope.
    Or , Need I to Programaticallly access to the InputDate and passed to a bind variable on the query ??

  • "Don't show this again" checkbox in prompt?

    All,
    So I have a few scripts that are designed to act on the currently open document.
    Some of them by nature are pretty destructive to the document because they're designed to do some crazy stuff.
    So, when the user runs the script, I'm currently presenting them with a "confirm" dialog with a blurb explaining that they should make sure to save the document before running the script (so they can always return to the previous state).
    Anyway, one of my co-workers was complaining about have to see this dialog every time they run the script, as well as some other alerts I use when there are errors.
    So, there's basically 3 dialogs the user will see:
    1. Confirm (Did you save your stuff, first?)
    2. Script Parameters (ScriptUI controls to adjust the various script settings)
    3. Success/Error messages
    Is there a way to add a "don't show this again" checkbox to the confirm modal dialog so that it would only show the first time the script is run (per session)?
    I can probably hide the Success/Error alerts by just adding a checkbox in the ScriptUI dialog, which would obviously set a variable, but in order to keep the confirm prompt from showing the next time they run the script, I would imagine I'd have to store a "cookie" type object on the users local drive? Is that possible?

    You don't need a cookie… A plain text file somewhere should do you… If you were to write in the Folder.temp directory it should be flushed at computer restart… ( or so I think not checked that )

  • Osd_cat don't show text

    Hey Guys,
    some month ago i set up my laptop with a script to show battery status on screen with the idea from this forum thread. The script looks pretty much de same, I just changed the displayed values. I use osd_cat to get a slider with text on the bottom, which looks like one of those old TV volume bars. I don't have used my laptop for a while now, and after doing updates, the text won't appear any more. I also tried with different fonts and arguments, and even on my desktop system, but i wasn't able to get back the text. osd_cat don't give any error, simply don't show the text. The Slider is working perfectly. Does anyone have any idea, why? I'm running community/xosd 2.2.14-5 with on my Intel-sna-GPU. There was no update to xosd, so another package is probably the cause of this.
    Greetz Corubba

    Hi,
    I can confirm this problem: after a world update (I am from gentoo) my osd_cat does not show any text, but the slider works fine. My first idea was, that the used default font (-f, --font=FONT     Use font (default: -misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--*-*-*-*-c-*-*-*)) might cause the problem. Sadly, I did not find out how these font-specification works, so I am not sure if I just used a wrong parameter while testing - or if the error might be elsewhere.
    In gentoo the packages prerequisite to xosd are
    `--  x11-libs/xosd-2.2.14-r1  amd64
       `--  x11-libs/libX11-1.5.0  (x11-libs/libX11) amd64
       `--  x11-libs/libXext-1.3.1  (x11-libs/libXext) amd64
       `--  x11-libs/libXt-1.1.3  (x11-libs/libXt) amd64
       `--  media-fonts/font-misc-misc-1.1.2  (media-fonts/font-misc-misc) amd64
       `--  x11-proto/xineramaproto-1.2.1  (x11-proto/xineramaproto) amd64
       `--  x11-proto/xextproto-7.2.1  (x11-proto/xextproto) amd64
       `--  x11-proto/xproto-7.0.23-r1  (x11-proto/xproto) amd64
       `--  virtual/pkgconfig-0  (virtual/pkgconfig) amd64
       `--  sys-devel/automake-1.12.4  (>=sys-devel/automake-1.11.1) ~amd64
       `--  sys-devel/autoconf-2.69  (>=sys-devel/autoconf-2.68) ~amd64
       `--  sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2  (sys-devel/libtool) ~amd64
    I reinstalled all these and the problem remains. So it might be a consistent error.
    Did you succeed meanwhile?

  • Backgrounds don't show in pages from template

    I made a template with backgrounds being controled by an
    external CSS file; but when I make a page from the template, the
    bgs don't show; anyone have an idea why?
    the panel on the right sidebar

    Your images are in many different directories, so I'm
    guessing you've
    simply gotten mixed up where to find the above images - or
    you actually
    did neglect to upload them to the appropriate directories.

  • AppleScriptObjc - "Don't show this message anymore"

    Hello everybody,
    I'm trying to add in my app a caution sheet before doing a thing, something like "Are you sure?" with a checkbox to not show that message anymore, just like the picture below.
    How can i do that?
    Thanks in advance!

    Yes, something like that (I am guessing that the "string" at the beginning was supposed to be "script"), only don't forget to read your preferences/defaults after registering them, and write the defaults when your application ends:
         on readDefaults() -- read current values from preferences file if it exists
              tell standardUserDefaults() of current application's NSUserDefaults -- overwrite the registered items if previously saved
                    set suppressionCheckBox to integerForKey_("suppressionCheckBox") as integer
              end tell
         end readDefaults
         on checkBox_(sender) -- update the checkbox property
              set suppressionCheckBox to sender's intValue as integer
         end checkBox_
         on writeDefaults() -- write new values to preferences file
              tell standardUserDefaults() of current application's NSUserDefaults
                     setInteger_forKey_(suppressionCheckBox, "suppressionCheckBox")
              end tell
         end writeDefaults

  • The new fire and trees filters don't show in the filters menu

    I have PS CC v14.2.1 x64. I saw them for a minute, now they're gone. I have a layer open, a path drawn and active and the fire filter doesn't show in the Filter/Render menu

    It wouldn't be in CC, but in CC 2014.2.1 (or version 15)  CC is version 14.2.1
    But if you are still in CC, they are located in the Edit > Fill dialog Pattern > Scripted Patterns.

  • The Scripted Pattern Fill for "Tree" is missing - the others are there.  What happened?  Please help.

    When I go to Edit > Fill and choose "Pattern".  I check the "Script: box and click the drop-down arrow.  The following display:  Brick Fill / Cross Weave / Place Along Path / Random Fill / Spiral /
    Symmetry Fill ------ but NOT Tree.
    What is wrong?  I've reset everything - still no Tree.
    Please help.
    Thank you

    Silkrooster - you did the job !   Thank you so very much.
    Of course, this brings me to another question if you don't mind answering.  Is there some place I can look when updates come up in Cloud for me to "update" that I can read about each change?  I see this sort of situation happens often for me and I would like to be able to try to find answers on my own instead of asking each time.  (This way, I'd help myself learn the program too.)  I know you have an online manual - but the content is not alphabetized which makes it very time-consuming to sift through.
    I am seriously deficient in "tech" type stuff and a simple, alphabetized content somewhere would be so very much help.  Maybe you have it and I just don't know where to look.
    Thanks again for telling me about the Tree pattern being moved.  YEAH !!

  • Script to rename tv show with season and episode number

    Hi all,
    I am working on a script to rename all the files of a tv show contain into a single folder - keeping season & episodes numbers.
    I am using zenity to get the correct name of the tv show (mainly to add capital letters, and remove the dots - and also to be able to use the script for different tv show)
    then again using zenity to select which folder contain the files, and then I want zenity to display how the rename will do as a verification and if happy then process.
    The script work great but I can get zenity to display the output of the command and ask the question.
    Any suggestion?
    Many thanks,
    Regards,
    #!/bin/bash
    #Use Zenity to capture the title of the TV Show
    tv_show_name=$(zenity --entry)
    #Select folder where the files to be rename are
    sourcefolder=$(zenity --file-selection --directory --title "Please select the folder containing those Files")
    #Move into the folder
    cd $sourcefolder
    #Now we execute the script to keep season and episode numbers
    if [ $? == 1 ]; then exit; fi
    for filename in *; do
    if [[ "$filename" =~(\**).*(.*[0-9][0-9]).*([0-9][0-9]).*(\....)$ ]]; then
    result=$(`echo mv "$filename" "$tv_show_name S${BASH_REMATCH[2]} E${BASH_REMATCH[3]}${BASH_REMATCH[4]}"`)
    zenity --question --title="Are those title correct?" \
    --text=$result \
    if [[ $? -eq 0 ]] ; then exit; fi
    else
    mv "$filename" "$tv_show_name S${BASH_REMATCH[2]} E${BASH_REMATCH[3]}${BASH_REMATCH[4]}")
    fi
    done
    exit

    Right,
    I finally got it!
    Now the script work (tested with multiple files, different names) and the verification is to a singles files just to be sure not the mess up those episodes number.
    #!/bin/bash
    #Use Zenity to capture the title of the TV Show
    tv_show_name=$(zenity --entry)
    #Select folder where the files to be rename are
    sourcefolder=$(zenity --file-selection --directory --title "Please select the folder containing those Files")
    #Move into the folder
    cd "$sourcefolder"
    #Now we execute the script to keep season and episode numbers
    if [ $? == 1 ]; then
    exit
    fi
    for filename in *; do
    if [[ "$filename" =~(\**).*(.*[0-9][0-9]).*([0-9][0-9]).*(\....)$ ]]; then
    result=$(echo mv \"$filename\" \"$tv_show_name S${BASH_REMATCH[2]} E${BASH_REMATCH[3]}${BASH_REMATCH[4]}\")
    zenity --question --title="Are those title correct?" \
    --text="$result" \
    if [[ $? == 0 ]] ; then
    mv "$filename" "$tv_show_name S${BASH_REMATCH[2]} E${BASH_REMATCH[3]}${BASH_REMATCH[4]}"
    fi

  • Additional scripted patterns

    Hi all,
    I am the developer of the Deco scripting engine that is used to create scripted patterns in Photoshop CS6. I would like to continue the interesting discussions and exchange of patterns and images that many of you started on the pre-release forum.
    If you go to the following page (link) you can get a brief overview of how to add new scripted patterns to Photoshop CS6.  Check out a few Deco scripts that create boundary patterns. The size of the boundary depends on the width
    of the input pattern – you want a wider boundary, create a wider pattern.
    Feel free to ask me any questions related to pattern scripting.
    Enjoy,
    Radomir

    Hi David, ok, running directly from the scripts this is the error I get;
    Error 2 : RenderAPI is undefined.
    Line 17
    ->var pattern = RenderAPI.getParameter(kps pattern);  //get pattern
    information.
    The other path script I have that works is ' specify varying sizes along path '... author unknown but Paul something rings a bell...here is that script;
    //Script Copyright 2012 by Richard Y. Kain. I am indebted to others who made predecessor
    //scripts that did not have varying copy sizes and varying copy spacing, which I added by
    //rewriting portions and resturcturing the information transferred among the two scripts.
    //This script for Photoshop CS6 displays the dialog window and eventually calls deco fill to
    //execute the script mentioned below.
    //The major feture is that the sizes of the pattern can vary progressively along the path, and
    //the spacing of the copies can be specified. This script invokes the script "Varying Path and Spacing"
    //that is called from the fill dialog to actually render the pattern copies.
    //The scripts should be located in the directory \presets\deco in the CS6 program files context.

  • Some songs don't show up on iPod, but they are there

    I have an 80GB iPod classic. I have all my songs in iTunes, and I have manually synced them to my iPod. When I view my iPod through iTunes, I can see all the songs and play them. However, when I look on my iPod directly, some songs don't show up when I browse by Artist, Song, etc.
    The only way to play them on my iPod is to add them to a Playlist, and then they are accessible. However, if I want to listen to Eminem, for instance, I want to just browse to it in the Artist area.
    The songs do have all of the appropriate info, and I have tried Restore and still nothing. These songs used to show up on my old, original iPod, so I am for a complete loss. Please help!

    This isn't foolproof but there are usually two things that contribute to songs not appearing under Artist on the iPod, both due to information either in or missing from the Get Info>Info tab against the song in iTunes. 1) the song has no album name associated with it or 2) the song is marked as part of a compilation.
    If tracks are missing an Album name (as mentioned above) in the Info tab, this information needs to be filled in. The no album one is a bit quirky as the songs will appear under certain circumstances but the simplest remedy is just add None or Miscellaneous in place of a title. See this link for more detail: I don't see some of my songs when browsing by artist on my iPod
    Also if the tracks are ticked in the Get Info>Info tab as part of a compilation, they will not appear under Artist on the iPod. Highlight a song in iTunes that you know is not appearing correctly on your iPod. Right click on it and choose Get Info and click the Info tab (alternatively choose Get Info from the File menu), if "Part of a Compilation" is marked untick it and afterwards update your iPod, you should find it now appears as normal. Compilations are stored in a separate folder in iTunes so the songs don't appear inside the normal Artist>Album folder which may be why this happens.
