My sons mini ipad will not send advice given to others, but it's still not sending?

My sons mini ipad will not send iMessages. I have reset network settings, turned it on and off and followed advice given to others with same problem, but it's still not working. Any ideas?

Sorry it is actually on iso 7.0.3. Not sure what to do as keep trying to reset but it just won't send any messages.
He is trying to reply to his cousin also on her ipad via imessage, so it should be really straightforward? He is getting messages from her, but cannot respond.
When I sent him a message from my iphone, that didn't get through. We all have 1 apple id and account which is mine, and this is supporting 1 x iphone, 2 x mini ipads and1 x ipad 2. However one of the mini ipads and the ipad 2 is not used for messageing etc, just my iphone and my sone mini ipad.

I keep getting the 'Profile missing or inaccessible' error message. I've tried some of the advice given to others but none of it is working for me. I've tried opening the Profile Manager but I get the same error message when I try to do that.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Upgraded to TV Unlimited but it is still not on

i upgraded to TV Unlimited yesterday but thev service has still not come on, i am still getting Essesional but i have upgraded to Unlimited i have spoken to BT on the phone they have said they will contact the people responcible for activation but it has still not happened this is very annoying as i am missing some of the good content i am expecting compeonation or free credit for the wait.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

TS4268 Verification email not received to activate FaceTime from additional gmail accounts on ipad. I have checked the spam folders and tried sending the activation email from my Mac as well but I'm still not getting them.

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

My Ipads will connect to my D-link DIR628, but when i try to use safari to go on line it says "safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". My windows based laptop works fine with the router day in and day out. I used both these Ipads in Hawaii recently using the free wi-fi they offered.
My friends windows based computer would not access the 'net as well as my moms apple laptop when they visited. Kind of sounds like a router problem but my laptop works great, just no other devices can get to the 'net.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
See how you go.

The battery is possibly unable to take as much power as a normal battery. It may need a replacement battery.

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.

I purchased and in-app download and have a receipt but it is still not showing, so where is it?

I purchased an in-app download for Little generals and have a receipt, but it is still not showing up. Ive tried all the usual sign in then back out...shutting on and off but none of this works. The file just seems that it does not exist even though they have already charged my credit card. So, WHAT GIVES???
PS: And the people on the other end of the phone line seem to be completly clueless about their own products..

If you don't have the Firefox button, you're using the classic view. To restore the new view of Firefox (Changed in Version 4):
* View > Toolbars > Menubar [Uncheck]
In Firefox 6 you can use this to clear your history/other offline content:
Click on the Firefox button on top left part of your browser:
* History > Clear Recent History
There you can select what you want to clear.
If you want to see the menu bar you can press alt on your keyboard so you can see file/view/...
Also for activating it to always be there follow this (Classic view of Firefox):
* Firefox > Options > Menu Bar
