Remove all apps from multitasking bar. Double click Home button then tap and hold an icon and tap on little x on every app. Then reset. Hold down Home and Power button until Apple logo appears.

I just recently updated the software on my ihpone 4 to the iOS 7 and now my iTunes Store does not work. All of my other apps work perfectly fine except iTunes. Whenever I open the app, the icons for music and movies and tv shows come up, but when I touch them, nothing happens. The screen is just blank. And I already tried updating again, updating iTunes on my computer, turning my iphone off and on, and resetting my ihpone, and nothing works. Can anyone help?
I searched this site for ios 7 and itunes store and found numerous others with the same problem, and several suggested solutions. One said that they had blocked all cookies and that was apparently the problem. I had done the same thing - blocked all cookies. So I set cookies back to "third parties and advertisers" and that solved the problem. Now the itunes store is working.

I have just formatted by toshiba hardrive to Mac OS extended as recommended so I could upload movies onto it from my mac however I am now unable to watch these movies through my set top box like I could previously. How can I fix this?
Check the box's documentation to find out what drive formats it's capable of reading. Very few, if any, non-Apple devices natively support drives formatted as Mac OS Extended.

i recently purchaced a used iphone4 on orange in the uk and although everything seems to work it will not send or recieve calls and texts or connect to internet,i have spent time resetting it through itunes myself and with an apple technician, iv done all the usual reset network and stuff and the sim works in my other phone. its like the phone has been blocked but it hasnt as iv done all the checks to see if it was stolen or blacklisted.please if anyone can help id b very grateful
i bought the phone from someone who lives in my village, there is no error code, when apple did a diagnostic on the phone they said it was running perfect. when you say carrier locked what exactly do you mean as i put a brand new orange sim in the phone and everything seems fine but the sim dosnt seem to activate so i tried it in my unlocked 4s and i got missed calls and txt's that id sent to it while it was in the 4, when i try ring it in the 4 it says sorry calls are currently not being connected to this number then goes to orange answerphone

I'm having the same problem, and nobody on here seems to have a solution. If I do a factory restore, it works for a few weeks, but then the same problem creeps up again.

Every since I have upgraded to IOS7 on my ipad, Words with Friends only displays in the portrait position. I cannot get it to be landscape. Can anyone help me out. I have turned it off and started again and keep turning the ipad only to have it go to portrait in the opposite side.
The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
"Never Remember History" means that Private Browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" gets a checkmark.
The default settings mean that cookies are enabled and thus should work.
Did you try to delete the cookies from the bank site?
Details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie.
*Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history:
*do not clear the Cookies
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep. -
Can you watch videos/listen to music from Tim Capsule through appletv?

On a standard ATV no, you cannot easily do it because of the link to itunes.. that means itunes has to have its main library on the TC and that is playing with fire.. The TC has no backup and no ability to stream.. it has no media servers. If you have a JB ATV (so not the newest one) and it can find and play files, yes, it would be possible. But again, as a storage location, you need to understand a failed TC is a locked up device.. where Apple will not recover your files, and so you will need to do manual backups to another drive anyway.

Thank you!I think the problem is that my as3 knowledge is too limited for me to do anything other than directly follow a tutorial, use code snibbets, etc. I'm feeling like this should be easy but even with your suggestions, its not coming together, unfortunately.
When I add the sound via actionscript, it still loads too early and I also then can't figure out how to turn it on/off with the button I have in the swf. When I add a simple play(); and stop(); it only stops my animation in the swf. Here is my working url in case that sparks anything!

I would either say that the iOS is correpted due to a software glitch or y have have a hardware problem like bad memory locations that are corrupting the iOS.
- Restore from backup via iTunes. This will install a fresh copy of the iOS. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. This will elimate corruptin in the backup causing the problem.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

iMesssage has stopped using my cell phone number and is only showing email addresses -- in other words, when I text, it is showing up as coming from an email address, even when i use my phone. The laptop and phone are still synchronized and messages are showing on both devices.
I've seen this before and was able to fix in Settings, but that is not working now.

Recently, I can't get any sound from my game applications. Sound works fine with video, streaming, etc, but not my game applications. I've tried powering down and re-booting, but the sound does not return. Can anyone help me?
Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). i have the same problem in my iphone. i can receive call and talk and listen too otherwise no sound at all like ringer tone , on-off click soung , video-music song , game sound.

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are; power the iPhone off and on, Reset by pressing and holding the Home key and Sleep/Wake or On/Off key simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so, Restore.
i had it once before, restored the iPhone and it was solved, but i don't want to restore my iPhone every day.

If you have sound when using the earbuds, another thing to try is insert the earbuds and start playing a song - making sure the sound can be heard with the earbuds. Without pausing the song, remove the earbuds.
If no sound is available with the speaker and a the troubleshooting steps do not resolve it or one of the steps does resolve it but the same occurs again, time to give AppleCare a call (800) 694-7466 or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -
I had to have my PC wiped clean and the OS re-loaded. I thought I backed up everything on my iTouch and iPad correctly, but when I try to sync, I'm getting a message that if I continue with the sync, I will lose everything on my device. I'd like to sync and have the content (both iTunes purchased music/apps and uploaded music) override the content on my PC, but am unable to find a way to do that. I have the first gen iTouch that does not support iCloud. Can anyone help?

My playlist has 15.96 Gig but when I go to sync it, the iPhone says 18.1 Gig of audio. Any ideas as to why (I realize I'm probably going to feel like an idiot when I get an answer)?

If the iPhone isn't behaving like other iPhones, try restarting or restoring it.
