My updates have frozen. I had 7 aps to update and pressed up date all the bars below each started to move but the no further progress I have rebooted a few times but no luck and I cannot open any of them now.
My updates appeared in the list yesterday. As usual I pressed the update all request. But all have frozen, I have rebooted and deleted memory space but this has not made any difference. The updates included Dropbox, cloud on, hidden objects,calculator, twitter, box for iPod and iPad, the smurfs? Can any one help me please. I now cannot use any of them!

I have tried all the suggestions, I am unable to view itunes on my IPAD they do not look the same. However I have solved the problem by taking them out of the groups I had them in they updated! Never happended before but hey - i'm not complaining!

Hello, I am quite new on these forums, and mainy joined because have problems with latest update of iTunes, which seems to have caused problems of one kind or another for various people. I think basically people are now waiting for a 'patch' from Apple to fix things.

i downloaded an adobe flash update and my computer after next logon got a blue screen. I could only start in safe mode and until uninstalling the flash player could i start in safe mode with networking. i cannot open any microsoft products now. I get a message saying adobe acrobat 10 is not designed to run on windows or uninstall and reinstall it ....but it will not let me uninstall it. What do i do? is this all an adobe issue or a windows problem?? thanks Tim
Hate to suggest this, but you need to ask in the Flash forum. This forum is for Acrobat.

I just had to restore my iPhone. After everything has been backed up from the iCloud, 4 of my apps (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram) will not comeback. They are stuck on "Waiting" and I cannot open or delete them. HELP, please!!!

With Aperture, you should be able to use Photo Stream now, but you need iPhoto 9.4.2 > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1608
After updating iPhoto to the latest version, open System Preferences > iCloud and tick Photo Stream. Finally, you will have to turn on Photo Stream on iPhoto and Aperture choosing Photo Stream on the sidebar of both programmes -

my operating system is OS X Lion 10.7.5

What I mean by 'cycles through documents" is that when I attempt to either open a document or just open the application - it looks like the application begins to start - I see the first page of a bunch of documents very quickly going from left to right on my screen but then I see a bar in the middle of the screen (I'm not sure what its called but its the one that tells you to wait while the computer does something) - and then it just stays there, never opening the documents.
My version of pages has always had the "cycling" effect at the beginning but it always ended quickly and I could begin working on my documents - now.... I can't begin working on anything and the only option I have is to force quit.

Can someone help me to open videos that come in adobe flash player. It says' my ipad 2 does not accept that. i was told to down load either photon or Falcon player. i have done both and still cannot open my videos. i am 74 years old, electronically challenged, and NEED SOMEONES HELP, PLEASE!! Either get a screen cleaning cloth, or carefully us a slightly damp lint-free cloth and dry off with a dry link-=free cloth.
As to Flash Videos: I am in a similar same boat. I cannot watch flash videos on the BBC website or on BBC iPlayer, although all other flash videos (YouTube and FaceBook for example) are fine.
For reasons that passeth all understanding, they work with the PPC version of Firefox, called TenFourFoxG5.app, once you have anabled plug-ins, as it does not natively support Flash.

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
I am using Flash 10.1.102.64 in TenFourFox and it works just fine. -

You can do as I did, either do a web search for Aperture updates to your current version of Aperture to update to Aperture 3.4.5 OR just simply upgrade to latest version of Aperure 3.5 ( from the Mac App Store) that is fully 64 bit compliant for OS X Mavericks. As long as you have registered your previous version of Aperture, the new 64 bit version will be a free upgrade.
Be advised that if you just upgrade to the latest version of Aperture, it will update your Photos Library, as well.
When this happens, your old version of Aperture on older versions of OS X will no longer work with the new, updated Photos Library.
If you still want to be able to access your Photos Library with an older version of Aperture and older OS X version, you need to make a copy of your current Photos library.
Make a copy of your current Photos Library and put it into a folder called something like old Photos Library so you still have an older version you can still access if you need to. -
When I open an email with an attachment, it downloads the attachment and saves it to my downloads. At a later time, I return to the download list and try to open it and it will not allow me to open them. How do I open my saved downloads?
If the Open or Open Containing Folder entry in the right-click context menu of a file in the Download Manager is grayed then that means that the file is no longer in that original download location. It may have been removed by cleanup software or anti-virus software if you haven't deleted the files yourself.

TS1717 I have logged onto Itunes and all my songs are greyed out and I cannot play any of them.
I have paid for a year to have Itunes available on another computer but when I go in, all the songs are there but they seem to be greyed out and none of them will play. I cant seem to find out what is wrong here. I have checked my account and its all up to date. I only have the two computers running on this scheme. Any suggestions? (I am not computer literate so please advise for a novice). The main computer for Itunes is XP and the second computer is Windows 7.

HA! It turns out, that an app that I've never used before, became active during a time that I was multitasking and didn't realize it. I didn't notice the effects right away, because my main desktop has a special 3D desktop generator called, bumptop, which covers over any other desktop color or graphic in that area. So it wasn't until I swiped to go to a different desktop, that I noticed the random slideshow being displayed. All fixed now. What a relief.

Thanks BobHave you checked the hosts file? The hosts file always overrides DNS and every OS has some sort of hosts file. In a mac the hosts file is located in /private/etc/hosts. Check the hosts file and see if there is an entry for facebook pointing to some sort of an ip address. There really should not be anything in the hosts file except for entries pointing to localhost, broadcasthosts or static entries that you purposely put there. If there are any other entries that you did not put there then delete them. After you have done, that you will want to flush dns entries with this command: dscacheutil -flushcache

When I click on "open entire inbox" the font seems to get very large briefly,then it returns to the normal size.I can't see my whole inbox or open anything!
When using Preferences to change the email to Xfinity Lite you loose certain valuable features available in the full verfsiion. This may work for some but I enjoy attaching photos in some emails and having them show in he message boz along with a message. It's a shame that two multi-national companys can't get their act straight. Comcast blames Firefox, Firefox blames Concast. In the meantime users are forced to use Internet Explorer. I hate this kind of stupidity. Millions of consumers are inconvenienced. I suspect that Microsoft and Comcast are schemeing in this matter.

I have the syncing option unchecked, that is why I do not understand why it is trying to sync.
I am also trying to play songs off my iPod via iTunes.
I also don't understand why I need to have the same songs on my PC if they are on the Shuffle. My songs are on my external hard drive... which I don't always have turned on, or with me for that matter. I certainly don't want to be hauling a hard drive around with me wherever I travel to. I want to be able to copy a small number of my favourite songs onto the Shuffle so I can carry the Shuffle and the laptop around with me and listen to them.
I need to be portable!!!
