Settings / Messages
on setting Send &Receive, deselect the other spouses email address.

A couple of different approached:
Create a second AppleID for one of you that includes the email address and phone number you wish to use for messaging, but do not apply it to the iTunes and app store (just keep the current one). My wife and I do this and it works quite well. Also allows for easier syncing of Contacts , notes etc. using icloud if you wish to do that.
Add additional emails/phone numbers to the existing account and change the Send/Receive settings for Messages. this will not fix the Contcts isues for you however.

Why does my browser continue getting big and small. first it happened when I first installed chrome so I delete chrome and install firefox. I constantly have to reset the font size and view. How can I stop this from happening.

I disconnected an email account from my iPhone 4- no longer receive the emails from that account on the phone BUT the address still appears on some outgoing emails? How can I stop that from happening?

I have not upgrade to iOS7. I've deleted an email account (gmail incase it makes a difference). The problem is that the ADDRESS still sometimes used despit the deletion. Now, one of the reasons I deleted it was that this address would "override" the address I was trying to actually send from even if I manually selected the other address. How do I get this completely disconnected from the phone without replacing the phone??

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Every time i open mozilla up a box with a red x pops up saying windows can't open a file and big long message. how do i stop that from happening.

That's an ongoing problem with this recent version of iPhoto as you can see from the topics at the right under "More Like This". The workaround that works for all is to export the photos to a folder on the Desktop and upload to Facebook with your browser until a fix is found.

Powerbooks have heat sensors that control the fan. The fan can run and not be heard unless the speed increases. If the powerbook thinks it's getting to hot it can start going into a shutdown mode.Thats a safety feature. Now if the sensor is reading heat wrong you might need to reset you PMU- power management control. since I don't know what model powerbook you have, I need to refer you to the apple article on it. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431

On each Device, go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive... and make certain that each device only has 2-items with check marks your phone number and your email address. click on the other persons number and email address such that it is not checked.
