My wired keyboard characters above the numbers are not working

I have a wired keyboard. the character symbols above the numbers (not the number pad) are not working. other characters appear instead. Help

Go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and make sure that ONLY the box for US is checked (or whatever keyboard you normally use, we have no way of knowing what country you are in if you don't tell us).

2 Skype Numbers are not working

I have two Skype number, and both of them are not work, and you guys keep debit from my credit account, I would like to know what is going on, if I have not got a proper response I have to cancel my all my subscription, as I am paying for nothing, and so so difficult to ask for help, thanks.

The speakers, the camera display, and all the USB outputs in the back are not working.
I was typing a paper last night when the electricity went off, and 5min later went back on, and all the display speakers, the camera display, and all the USB outputs in the back are not working.
FYI, it's LED Cinema display.
Solutions? Suggestions?

Actually BACK is standard user command so it is not stopping and going to selection screen.
Give some other use command like 'BCK' and try....

The Battery icon with the "X" indicates that your computer does not detect a battery and is operating on electrical power from AC since your computer is plugged in. If your battery is installed but not detected that indicates a problem: 1. the battery is dead; 2. the battery connector is not functioning properly. You mention that there is no response from the indicator lights so it could be either of the two possibilities. The noise is not a good sign. Best to shut it down safely while you can to prevent any possibility of damage and get it to an Apple Genius Bar or Authorized Apple Service Provider to discover the nature of the problem

If your device fails then you might have to look for warranty or repair options.

If so, you are probably missing the graphics and USB3 drivers.

The numbers 1 through 9 do not work. I have gone through troubleshooting wireless mouse and keyboard issues and everything looks good. Except, when I check the keys on the keyboard viewer, these keys still do not work. The webpage guides me through and at this point I do not know what to do next, because the keyboard is still not working properly. I sure hope there are some experienced people in the community to help me. What should I do?

I wish my suggestion had gotten you further.
I do suggest you try to connect the keyboard again. The request for a number is a step in it trying to pair. If it gets by the number, it sometimes takes a little while to get connected. If you are unable to get it connected and want a new one, I have been using Apple Bluetooth keyboards for years - and I like them. The one I have (the newest model) only uses two batteries and is very thin.
Speaking of batteries, if you are not already doing so, you might consider rechargeables. I have a drawer full of them and use a 15 minute charger. I go tired of buying batteries and rechargeables are environmentally friendly to boot. At the moment, I use 2450 mAh Energizers and a 15 minute Energizer charger (all purchased new on eBay at a very reasonable price).
I am far from an iPad "expert," although I have one. If my suggestion below does not help, post your question in a separate thread in the iPad forum.
I had a terrible time syncing my iCal on my Mac with my iPad iCal (confusing - hopefully it makes sense). I quit using iCloud as that added to the confusion. There is a facility to one-time sync items. When you connect your computer to your iPad, iTunes opens. The system begins a process (automatic backup and so on). After it finishes, you can click on "info." At the bottom of the screen, there is an advanced section. You can select any of the items and then force it to sync. The iCal information from your computer would be deposited on the iPad.
After all that, I do not use a Google calendar so the information may be worthless to you.
If you want to reset the iPad to factory settings, you can do that when it is connected to iTunes (one of the options). Me being me, I try never to erase anything.

Wired keyboard-number pad&right arrow keys not working-serial # help!

Hello to whomever reads/replies -
I have a wired keyboard for my iMac(it's not the aluminum imac, but the version before it with the keyboard and mouse that came with it). I got this keyboard June 2007 after the original keyboard sent to me had problems with it with some keys not working properly. And now about a week ago my right arrow key and the zero, decimal point, one, two, three and enter button on the keypad stopped working out of the blue. One night they worked and the next they didn't with nothing being done different, nor was the keyboard stored differently.
I've cleaned the keyboard inside and out twice and tried pushing the little squishy thing under the keys when you pop them off and there's no response with those being pushed either so something's got to be wrong with the keyboard itself.
Also, when I go online to look up the warrenty on this keyboard, #1 i can't find where it tells me where the serial number on the **** WIRED keyboard is, just gives me where i can find it on the WIRELESS keyboards. Ugh. So I looked under my keyboard and punched in the numbers and letters that i found on a little silver plate just below where the wire and USB ports are in the top of the keyboard and I get an 'invalid serial number' error message.
So.. could anyone help me with these problems? I'd really rather not call tech support since it took me over two hours to explain to the man that I spoke with last year about my other keyboard and I just don't have the time! Thanks in advance!

Run, don't walk to the phone. Call Applecare and indicate you have a warranty problem. The KB is (or will be shortly) out of warranty. It may take you some time, but it may save you some money in the long run.
Incidentally, it appears to me that your KB is, indeed, broken.
