Mysterious Messaging At 3 Am

I look at my usage on ATT.com and I see strange outgoing messages between 3 and 4am. They all say they are sent and are different sizes ranging from 200kb to 2500kb. They also say internet/media WAP.CINGULAR. I called *611 they said I'm not being charged for them and they don't what they are. What on my iphone is sending something at 3am everynight? And on the WAP.CINGULAR network?

Are these being charged as SMS or Data package usage?
It may be possible the iPhone is sending routine system information to and from the at&t server to verify information on the phone and ensure the right data package is installed, and all other services pass diagnostic tests. This is just my theory on this.
You may wish to check with your friends see if they get the same thing on their bill. If so then it is possible it is just a schedule maintenance message update going out to at&t with possible diagnostic info.
You may wish to also contact at&t and speak to their data support group. They might be able to shed more light on this and if needed maybe remove the data package and re-add it to see if this continues.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

How did a single mystery message get sent from my iphone3?

Help me solve this mystery!
Last night a single yahoo message (which is my mail on my iphone) was sent out.
1) It had just a two word subject line "Hi Justin" and nothing was written in the body.
2) On the bottom was my signature "Sent from my iphone"
3) The header listed the Mime-version as 1.0 (iPhone Mail 7D11)
4) I only discovered this mystery e-mail because I recieved a reply this morning from the recipient asking "what's this?" FYI-The address is for a rental inquirey I sent 3 days prior , so not a social contact.
5) I went into my sent folder and founder the mystery e-mail.
6) I was never on my laptop last night - instead I was out with a friend. Nor did I send any e-mails to anyone from my iphone last night either.
7) My version is 4.3.5 (BL1) and my modem firmware is 05.16.02, if that has any bearing
***8) In addition, 4 of my messages that were in my in-box are now in the trash.
So how could these things have happened? I'm flummoxed to be honest. thx!

Settings -> Mail -> Signature and edit it to whatever you'd like.

Mysterious message while processing PO in SRM 4.0

We have a proxy communication between SRM 4.0 and XI 3.0 setup inorder to send out approved POs to vendors from SRM through XI.
The SRM business system has been setup in the SLD with the proper logical system name attached to the business system defn on the SLD -depicting the backend SRM system. The SLDCHECK done from the SRM system works fine and returns the name its entry from the SLD. The entries in SLDAPICUST also looks fine.
When we try to send out a PO from the SRM system - we get the following error message :
<b>An SLD system has not been assigned to logical system QBHCLNT180</b>
Any idea as to what we are missing here ?

Thanks for your quick response. Yes, SRM system's logical name was there in the SLD' entry of the SRM business system . There is no problem in the SLD entry for the SRM business system.
For some strange reason, SAP has provided a configuration mapping between the SRM logical system and its business system name - this mapping entry has to be maintained as a part of the SRM config ( SPRO -->)why ?? why do we have SLDCHECK, SLDAPICUST etc - inorder to facilate SRM box accessing the central SLD ??
Anyway , that backend mapping is being referred when the PO is sent out - inorder to for the SRM system to get its business system name - to be passed on the outbound proxy message header....

Can't find mysterious message

I've read every email and every missed call and yet there is still an icon showing that I have 1 message. I can't figure out where/what this message is. My SMS is separate and has a different icon so I know it's not that. Anybody have any idea? Thanks.

Homescreen > Messages > > Search
Set as follows (may vary depending on your device OS level):
Search Type: Local
Name In: Any Address Field
Subject Message: <leave blank>
Include Encrypted Messages: Yes
Service: All Services
Folder: All Folders
Show: Unopened Only
Type: All
That should return to you all unopened messages from all message conduits.

Mysterious Message when launching iBooks

Can anyone decipher this message for me? It appears when i launch iBooks on my iPad.
What does it mean? And how do i remove it?

Here's another message that appears intermitently on my MBP. It just pops up when i open my MBP
and appears every now and then. I can't trace the source or the offending app if there is one. Can anyone help me

If you have Crystal Reports (CR) 10 and when refreshing an existing report with linked tables, or when creating a new report and linking the tables, this error message "Crw32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" appears, it means the file SACommonControls.dll is not registered properly.
CR 10 needs to have the copy of SACommonControls.dll in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.5\Bin folder registered.
To Register the Correct Version of SACommonControls.dll
1. Click the 'Start' button, and then click 'Run'.
2. Enter the following in the 'Open' combo-box:
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.5\bin\SACommonControls.dll"
3. Click 'OK'. A dialog box will appear indicating you have successfully registered the DLL. Click 'OK'.
Now, when you open reports with linked tables in CR 10 the error message will not appear.

PC app pops up mysterious message

For the past few days I keep getting a pop-up window on my PC stating "Software download complete." It provides two buttons: "Install Now" and "Install Later." I had no idea what this was about and was hesitant to click on the Install Now button. I was afraid it might be malware. No way could I find out what software it wanted to install. So I kept clicking on the Install Later button. Of course the pop-up kept returning. I asked my co-workers if anyone had seen this before and luckily one of my co-workers informed me that this was an update for the Verizon Samsung app. I'd really like to let Verizon know that this app needs to be modified to clearly state what software it wants to install. In this day and age of viruses and malware it is very poor practice to install unknown software and whoever wrote this program should have realized that people would be hesitant to click on the Install Now button with no idea of what is going to be installed. C'mon Verizon, you and Samsung can do better than this. Ok, I'll get off my soap box now.

Mysterious message asking to shutdown

I updated the latest security patch yesterday. Today when the screensaver (Flurry), i got a message, square black background with lettering in five different languages telling me that i need to restert my computer. It said ' you need to restart your computer by holding the power button for few seconds or pressing the restart button...." there was a power icon on the background. All this while the screensaver is frozen. No key on the computer would work. So i restarted as told, and when i relogged in, there was a error message saying ' os x quit unexpectedly ...' with report and ok buttons on it. This message is regular mac message if you shut down the computer with power button than soft shutdown.
Was that a message built into screen saver?

Mysterious messages with no content on iPhone 3GS

I have been getting messages labeled (No Sender) (No Subject) Dates are either 12/31/69 or 12/31/00 and have no content. When I click on them to delete they won't and they are multiplying. Yesterday 6/28/10 there was one, then there were four. Today I got five more. Can someone help. Has my phone been hacked?

I'm having the same problem - not sure if its a bug in iOS 4. I'm having it w/ the iphone 4. I dont think its a hacked issue, i think its a bug in the mail program they have to fix. When I turn off the phone completely and turn it back on, they disappear, but within a day or so, my newer messages do the same thing

Hi Everyone,
Running Exchange 2010 SP3 RU 2, 2x CAS, 2x HUB, 2x Mailbox configured in a DAG all running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1.
A user received a bounce back from our gateway mail appliance concerning a message. The user does not recall sending the message and it has been confirmed they did not send the message. The message does not exist in the users sent items or deleted
items. Use has the following devices that access exchange, blackberry, ipad and outlook 2013.
The e-mail message in question can be tracked as being sent from the users account within exchange and on all mail gateways. following is shown in exchange:
Mailbox server submits message to hub transport.
Hub transport sends message to mail gateway.
Anyone have any idea how this message could be sent without the user doing it and it not showing up in their mailbox?

Mystery Messages on Console

These messages appeared yesterday - as far as I can see the system is on the correct time and date but apparent error messages I cannot understand always worry me in case something siniser is going on in the background (of course I am used to PCs where everything goes wrong all the time).

I think the first just refers to an HP scanner/photo printer that is simply not switched on.
The second is less clear.

The second is a common item WRT enabling/using RSS Feeds. Do a search in these forums for RSS feeds and you'll see many recent entries.

Wont connect to my network- mysterious message

There was an error joining the AirPort network "Maz"
There's no additonal information provided, so i'm at a loss what to do. The green light on the modem glows strong.

Maybe your iPhone does not work with that carrier. Or it may be a deffective device. If you having trouble with Wifi it may be the antenna.

Mystery Message from Time Machine

Can anyone tell me what this message means. I used Disc Utility to repair permissions and ran disc repair because of probelms with my iphoto library hanging up. now I keep getting a message: Time Machine counld not back up: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/John Scott’s iMac.sparsebundle” is already in use.
What do I do to sort the problem?

Mystery message

In Mail I get a really annoying window that asks if I want to
“Load More Messages...” and “... # messages to load”
but there’s nothing else to load and I haven't been able to find a way to get rid of it. So IS there a way to make it go bye-bye?

I was seeing exact same thing on one of my mail accounts prior to the ipod updates.
I have mail set to show 200 recent messages and the one account would only show 175 and then the download more button but it never worked.
Between the updates and removing old mail that i really didn't need the message went away.
Don't remember which I did first. But I haven't seen it since.
Sorry I couldn't really help but now you know its not just you.
I am curious though if the show 200 messages is for each individual account or total of all accounts.

Mystery message in Calendar

I've implemented the plsql version of the calendar that came with the form demos(9i) and things work just fine. However, whenever the Calendar is invoked, a message is displayed on the message line - 'Got to here'. I've scanned all the plsql code, triggers, libraries etc and checked all item/block/window properties including all Hints and cannot find this message anywhere.
That text has got to be coming from somewhere, but I haven't a clue where it is and how it gets displayed. Any ideas as it is pretty annoying.
