N82 WLAN application missing from phone / PC Suite...

Have a new N82, April. When purchased, in China, WLAN was in the system but language change required a reset at point of purchase. However, WLAN application vanished and despite several attempts at locating on the PC Suite disk, to reinstall no luck. Latest updates seem to further corrupt phone and create normal network signal. Fix by resetting to factory settings but WLAN still missing. I am using Windows XP.
Anyone know where the WLAN file is located on the disk and how I can reinstall to the phone.
Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you used FExplorer or some other such app to delete files you shouldn't have deleted?
Anyway, you could try reformatting the phone (all messages, pictures, numbers, etc., will be gone:

If that doesn't help, ask your nearest Nokia service/repair center reflash the phone with whatever is the latest phone software (firmware) release:

If you are unable to locate a specific application then it is likely the computer you are using does not meet the current system requirements. In the following example you can see that After Effects and Premiere Pro are missing from the list of available applications.
When I look at the System information for my Windows installation I am informed that I have a 32-bit version of Windows 8.

I have a lot of problems. First og all the system will not accept my account and even I have downloaded CPLauncher and can see the software, I will not genereate password. Nothing works, and if do not, I have to stop paying, because my boss are a little angry.
He says: We pay and it do not work. Find other software. We can’t afford you sitting doing nothing. If Adobe makes such a software that causes us trouble, we will change to something else, we do not need Aobe for our projects.
So Jeff – The software are very complicated, it can run, It can’t genereate license, and on top of all this, I have to defend Adobe. Well – I will not. I have been fighting in 3 weeks and this week is the last. Monday morning I will stop using Adobe coud and stop my membership.

Maps missing from "phone view"

I am using Nokia Suite to update the maps on my Nokia 5800. But when I click on the section which should list maps on the phone, only the voice guidance files show up. I have confirmed that the maps are on my phone (for example I just uploaded the map for Paris and I can find the Eiffel Tower) but neither the existing maps, nor the newly uploaded maps show up in Nokia Suite.

You may try deleting the 'Cities' folder and the 'qf' file from the phone. You may do that by connecting your phone to PC and then thru' Windows Explorer.. Now, disconnect the phone and then Open the Maps application on the phone and after about 15-20 seconds close it. This will recreate the Folder structure. Now connect the phone again to PC and thru' Nokia Suite re-download / re-install the Maps that you want ...

Flash application missing from CS3 Design Premium disk,OSX?

Does anyone know if the Flash application is missing from the CS3 Design Premium disk,OSX? I installed all the programs a while ago and never opened the Flash program. Now, when I do, I can't open the application. There are other folders for Flash, but no application. It seems that it is missing. I tried to reinstall it from the original disk, but the installation is interrupted by a message that asks that the Fireworks CS4 disk be inserted. I had downloaded a trial Fireworks CS4, but do not have a disk. I uninstalled Fireworks ( according to adobe's instructions) and tried to install Flash again, but keep getting the same 'Fireworks CS4 disk be inserted' message. Does anyone know anything about this? Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, you unisntall the whole suite. It only uninstalls the programs, any user data and configuration is unaffected. If you wanan back it up, regardless, check your Users:You:Preferences:Adobe and Users:You:Documents folders and copy the stuff there toi a safe location.

Camera lens missing from phone

I've got iphone 5. And the problem is that the camera lens is missing from back. My phone is under warranty. Will it be replaced or what..plz tell me

I guess it would depend upon why it's missing and if your AppleCare is still active.
If it is missing due to acciddental damage (drops, etc), then that would be considered an "Out Of Warranty" repair, and it would cost you about $269 USD (unless you have an active AppleCare+ where there are 2 "incidents" where you can get your phone replaced for $49).
If it is due to manufacturing defect, then it would be covered under the 1 year Mfr Warranty, so if you have proof of purchase, or have it registered with Apple, then it should be covered for a free replacement as long as you are within 1 year of the device's purchase.

Applications missing from EAS and can't see designated HBR on forms in workspace

Just finished patching our EPM system;
11.1.2.1.600: Oracle Hyperion EPM Workspace, HSS and Planning, fusion edition.
11.1.2.1.103: EAS
After installing the patches the systems were up and running and everything was just fine until yesterday around noon, when suddenly all of our applications disappeared from EAS.
At the same time HBR Associated to the different forms was\is nowhere to be seen (in Workspace) when opering the planning forms.
If I try opening forms in planning (not via WS), I can see all of the HBR associated to the forms, run them and push data back to essbase.

We are currently using approximately 25 applications. I can only see the server in EAS, but no apps.
Also create application is greyed out so it would seem that I don't have the sufficient rights which would be strange due to
the face that I've got admin rights.
Regarding HBR we have no problems seeing and running HBR for our classic apps in planning. The problems with HBR is related to WS.

Group Chat missing from Phone/OK on PC

Hello, I have lost one of my group chats from my Android phone which works fine on my Desktop and Surface PCs. Nothing I have done seems to recover my access to it. I uninstalled Skype on my phone, powered the phone off, powered it on, reinstalled Skype. That didn't work. Uninstalled Skype again, checked to make sure there were no Skype files left behind. Didn't find any. Rebooted the phone again. Reinstalled Skype a second time. That did not resolve the problem either. When someone types something in the Group Chat it shows as a notification on my phone. If I select the notification it will show me what they said, but the group chat name does not show up and instead it shows as "Person Name, ..." and while the text entry box shows up along with the arrow, I can't select it. Attempting to type anything in the box doesn't work since it won't even pop up the keyboard so I can type. I can favorite it, but then it will still not show the chat name, will not allow me to send messages, will only show one participant in the chat (not me), and will not retain a history of any of the messages that come in (once they are viewed from the notification they are lost). So there's no effective way to interact with it. Since it is my chat of which I am the administrator, I can't add/remove myself from the chat either. Chat starts with a name=19 which I am told means it is a cloud based chat. I started it roughly 8 months ago maybe? Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 3Model Number: SM-N900VAndroid Version: 5.0Network: Verizon Wireless (also use it on my Home WiFi)Skype Version: 5.7.0.13054 Additional Note: I am missing all group chats. I had one that I hadn't created so I asked the moderator to re-add me after I left it using my PC. They could re-add me and I could see the chat on my PC but it still doesn't show up on my phone. My Skype IMs to certain people are also very delayed. I just sent a couple of IMs to the admin of that chat and they are just sitting there dim grey and pending. I can communicate fine with other individuals. Yet the same person, I can communicate without delay from my PC.

Hi, I've had this exact same problem myself. Skype 5.8 on Android 5, Lolipop. No amount of resetting or uninstalling will help. Symptoyms include, but are not limited to: - Messages always dimmed, even though people can see and respond to them- Get notifications that show up in the system and show real messages, but cannot be seen at all inside Skype- Complete loss of all Skype history; everything becomes completely invisible, as though you never had those conversations- Complete inability to use group chats whatsoever; only one person will show should you join them, and you won't see any messagea from anybody at all (whether posted before or posted while looking at it)- Occasionally, some pictures (whether profile photos, emoticons, or images to the Skype app itself, including the logo) don't load at all. This was a _huge_ break, it's literally bricked Skype. The application is completely worthless now; what kind of a chat platform can't even deliver messeges? It's an alpha quality release, and I hope the Skype team gets to work on fixing this as soon as possible. I hope in the future it's tested more robustly; these are not subtle bugs, anyone who installs the cersion currently up will find they are no longer able to use te service. Feeling helpless, confused, and very frusterated there's nothing I can do to fix it (and that in all likelyhood, the earliest a patch will come will probably be _weeks_ away, if ever).

After Effects download is missing from the Cloud Suite. How do I access?

The Adobe Application Manager is missing After Effects and a couple of other applications that are supposed to be included in the Cloud Suite. How do I access these applications?

You upgrade your operating system to something that actually supports those apps. All video apps require a 64bit OS. Refer to the system requirements on the product pages.

I'm experiencing the same problem. When I start the Creative cloud installer, in the apps tab does not appear any application to download. My system is ok for the requirements. I tried to sign out from my account from the creative cloud app, doesn't work either. I'm also new in my Mac so I don't know how to uninstall the app.

Analytic Server Application missing from Project in Shared Services

Slowly rebuilding my trashed development server. However I cannot access the Essbase server via EAS without getting a network error 10061
I noticed in my Projects list I do NOT have the server value for the Analytic Server project.
Do I reregister with Shared Services on Analytic Services? If so I tried that to no avail...
Looking for ideas.

Hi John,
Did the following:
1. Stop all services (this is development so all Hyperion products are on one box)
2. Renamed essbase.sec to essbase.secold
3. Made copy of essbase.bak_preUPM and then renamed the copy to essbase.sec
4. In configuration utility, selected Essbase Server and register with Shared Services and Analytic Server services
5. Started the hypservice
6. Went to Shared Services. Application is not under project grouping Analytic Server
This was a really hosed server and I have been putting it back piece by piece. In the error logs it is as clear as day. It cannot find the application Analytic server.
Any other way to trigger this to work? What if I took the AAS database from production, restored it then registered?

Random dates missing from phone after isync

Hi,
I have recently found that some of the dates I add to my iCal do not sync to my phone (K800i). It seems to be a random pattern and I cannot see any difference between the dates that appear and the ones that don't.
Has anybody else had this, or know of a solution?

Are the dates that are not syncing all in the same Calendar in iCal?
Are the dates that are not syncing before the last clocks change (March) or after the next clocks change (October)?
Backup your Address Book and iCal data by choosing the relevant Backup command on the apps File menu, Then...
Try clicking "Reset sync history..." in iSync prefs
Try clicking on your phones icon in the iSync window, then choose "Reset device" from the "Devices" menu.

Favorites and Contacts Missing from Phone App

When I go into the Phone App on my Iphone 6 I only see Recents, Keypad and Voicemail at the bottom. I used to see Favorites, Recents, Contacts, Keypad and Voicemail. Favorites and Contacts are missing.
I still have the regular Contacts app and can see my contacts are in there so the issue is just related to the phone app.
This is what I see...

If the reset does not cure the issue, check Settings > General > Usage and make sure your available storage is at least 15% or so of your total storage.

Corp/Biz Acct # missing from phone & iTunes

iTunes shows no number in Summary after I sync??? in contacts on the phone I see no number either!! is this what happens when you open a corp/Biz account or is something wrong with the phone or account?

As you have probably already experienced, activating a Business responsible account, instead of individual account, with AT&T is a little bit different process.
The iPhone and iTunes either read the cellular telephone number from the carrier during activation, or later from the iPhone's information provided by the carrier to the iPhone.
Try powering off the iPhone completely for at least 5 minutes, and then power it back on.

Text tones missing from phone since iOS 5.0.1

I noticed last night, when one of my friends texted me last night it didn't play the text tone I had assigned him. then I went to my sounds menu in settings and all 4 of my custom text tones I had purchased from iTunes were gone. My text tones show up in iTunes Purchases on my computer, but when I try unsyncing then resyncing them to my phone, all I get is a message on my phone saying, "Itunes cannot sync 4 items to this phone, See itunes for details" This is just happened since updating to iOS 5.0.1. SOMEBODY HELP!!!!

I had this issue too. I did an OTA update.
I tried turning off my iPhone, removed and reinserted my SIM and turning it on again a few times without success. I also inserted my wife's SIM, it was OK. When I tried with mine again, it was not. I also tried going in and out of Airplane Mode too without success.
Afte a bit of trial and error, I finally got it to work.
What I did was:
1. Turn off WIFI.
2. Turn off my iPhone.
3. Removed and reinserted my SIM.
4. Turned on my iPhone. Almost immediately I saw the "3G" indicator and after a couple of seconds, my SIM worked!
5. Turned WIFI back on.
From my issue, it seems the iOS 5.0.1 update got "confused" with the network setup.

App store application missing from iPhone5

My new iphone5 doesn't have the app store application. Should I restore OS6 or take it to the apple store for evauation.

First check your restrictions..
Settings->General->Restrictions
Make sure nothing is restricted.
If thats not the issue, then yes restore iOS6 from iTunes. Make sure to backup your data first
