N95 Software error when turning on

Hi
Everytime i turn on my N95 it comes up with the 'welcome to your new phone' message. It then procedes to try and install the software, but comes up with an error message 'unable to complete installation...' (can't get the rest of it because it disappears too fast.. something about the memory card i think).
Any ideas on the problem? Or how i can fix it?

It looks like you have software installed on the memory card. This sometimes creates this kind of problem.
I suggest you back up what you want to from the card (photos, audio, video etc.) and then reformat it. You can then restore the data you just backed up and install your applications in the phone's memory.

Like many of you, I keep getting the "You are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match" error when attempting to activate the service on my iPhone and iPad. Initially the ID's were different; it was the confusion for those of us who had both .mac adresses that were converted to .me addresses, etc. I set up EVERYTHING across all systems to work with a single user ID, "[email protected]". In the stores on all 3 devices, that's the ID. In the settings, that's the ID. The same, unique password works across all systems. Match was set up and activated perfectly on my Mac. But still the iDevices give me this frustrating error. Help?

2 reasons,
1. Might be you have configured with wrong Monitor, choose the correct one and enter proper parameter details for key figure
or the issue with the key figure itself. you can refer the notes 1807734 - ST-A/PI 01Q: Advance Corr. BP Analytics - TBIs for ERP, like this lots of note available, refer bpmon advance correction, make sure you applied.

Internal software error when building DVD

I can't burn any DVDs using any format from any project. Every time I start the build, Encore begins to analyze the project and stops almost immediately with the following error message:
internal software error: .\EditorTemplates.cpp, line 698
Any help?

I'm having the same problem in CS6. A simple project; one timeline, three menus, but after some time rendering the motion menus up comes the 698 error every time. Did you guys ever find a fix for this?

Non system disk error or disk error when turned on

I have a BIG problem with my laptop, it doesnt load my operating system! :dead:
I have a 100GB hard drive in my laptop and it was working perfectly fine until a blue screen came up and turned my laptop off!! I turned it back on and it came up with a message saying: ''non-system disk or disk error; Replace and strike any key when ready'' Before that, I have the RAM of 256MB . The RAM themselves had a test and showed no problem at all. When I did go into bios, it didnt give me an option where my laptop hard drive could do a self test, when it should have. So i decided to buy a new hard drive which was 160GB seagate. I put it into my laptop and had my Windows XP CD ready to put into my CD drive to install. BUT...........the same message came up ''non-system disk or disk error; Replace and strike any key when ready'' and didnt read my CD. It keeps doing it now and doesn't read anything from the CD SOMEONE PLEASE...............HELP!!!..................!!!! Does anyone know what I am talking about? If so, please help. Thanks

I kind of know but we really need to know what kind of laptop you are working on here. Seems like it is an old one with XP and 256 megs of RAM.

Hp pavilion 783 error when turned on, keeps restarting

I have just set up an old HP Pavilion 783 desktop PC (it has been in storgae for a while) and when I turn it on I get the following error message:
Winlogon.exe Application error
The instruction at "0x75978dc1" referenced memory at "0x000000", The memory could not be read.
I get two options - OK and Cancel. I have tried both and all that happens is the system reboots and gets to the same point and same message, so just going round in circles.
I have tried turning it all off, unplugging everything and re doing but no different.
I have also tried running in 'safe mode' but still get this eror message.
Could it have been damaged whilst packed away? is there anything I can do to get it working again?

Error when turning Ipod on

I keep getting an error that says "Connect to Computer Use iTunes to Restore". It is written in multiple languages. I connect to iTunes and restore. It may work fine for 20 playings, it may work correct for one, but I get the same error.

BlackBerry Desktop Software error when trying to run from my computer desktop

Hi: I have installed the BlackBerry Desltop Software ver 6.0 on my Dell Dimension 4700 PC @3.4 GHz which runs Windows XP Professional Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and has 1GB of RAM.
Each time I have tried to start the software from the desktop icon, I receive an error message saying that BlackBerry Desktop Software has encountered a problem and need to close.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, how did you resolve it? Any assistacne would be most appreciated as I wish to synch my Torch with Outlook 2003 for contacts and appointments!!

I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista/Win7, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
Some have reported that there are more registry keys to remove than are discussed in that KB
Others have reported the use of a registry cleansing tool to also be helpful
3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchronizing via USB):
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:

5) Install DTM to your PC
6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
7) Start the organizer configuration over:

I posted about this a long time ago. If you use the search engine here (provided it works currently) you'll see what I did.
As mentioned, it's an IRQ issue. This card and it's drivers, do not like IRQ sharing in some configurations. Some share without problems, and other configurations simply wont tolerate it.

I wish I could help you too. I've run into the exact same problem and nothing that I'm following in the manual is helping. My screen actually says "Do not disconnect." If I toggle with it and try to reset it, then the same screen as you described comes on.

I get the same software error when starting firefox or thunderbirdand cant update either program

THe error says "the update could not be installed. Please make sure no other copies of firefox are running on your computer and then restart firefox to try again." I can then hit ok and Firefox will start, but without applying the upgrade. The same thing is happening on T-Bird.
Firefox is 3.6.12 attempting to load 3.6.13 and T-bird is 3.1.6 attempting to load 3.1.7.
I am running w7 home x64 on a homebuilt pc with AMD quadcore
and 5gb memory.

If the full message is similar to ''"Platform version <x.x.x.x> is not compatible with minVersion <x.x.x.x>"'', then do the following.

Panther.kext error when installing software

I installed software for my Cricket mobile usb modem a few months back and it turned out they had sent me the wrong link. I believe this to be the culprit but now when I install software I will many times get a message that says something like:
System extension cannot be user
The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/DevGuruVsp_panther.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the vendor for an update.
Most recently I received this error when installing iTunes 10. Can anyone help correct this?

N95 Display/Software error?

My N95 recently started behaving very strange just 1 month after warranty ran out (typical)
The Phone boots up nicely but then after a short while the display starts to "flicker" or display snow on the screen.
If you push a button the display lights up with a grey background and after ~5 seconds I can see the background image which then dissappears again - into the grey color.
At first I thought, well this could just be a display replacement needed since the display didn't work on another n95 either. I ordered a new one, replaced it - same thing happens! so it is not the display itself unless the phone somehow already damaged the new one.
One note, after you push a button and the display turns grey the "side buttons" (play/camera) blinks blue within seconds of each other - could this be an error code of some kind?
I've already checked the humidity label inside and the phone has not ever been dropped in water of any kind, the error occured while web browsing. I've also updated to newest software release. Previously I had QT installed also.
Any thoughts on this? .. thinking other brand next time since i really think a phone should last more than 1 month after warranty.

Seems like you've messed up the display electronics. You should've taken it to the experts (Nokia Care) instead of doing it yourself. It will cost you dear anyway. Better take it to a Nokia Care Point. They will be able to fix it. I don't think it's a software error.
