  • I am facing problem in loading data in ap_invoices_all  in R12 through API

    Hi,
When I am trying to load data in R12 through API (ap_invoices_pkg. Insert_Row), I can see my record in base table ap_invoices_all but I can't find my record from frontend application.
MAGSA AP Supervisor -> Invoices -> Entry -> Invoices.
I will be very greatful if anyone can tell me the reason why I am not able to find my record.
    Thanks

I believe the issue is related to Multi Org Access Control (MOAC) - pl see MOS Doc 420787.1 - Oracle Applications Multiple Organizations Access Control for Custom Code - for a discussion.

  • API to load MTL_CYCLE_COUNT_ENTRIES

Is there any public API to load data into MTL_CYCLE_COUNT_ENTRIES?
We have a requirement where Item Serials not existing in EBS are getting imported from a 3rd party system to EBS.
We need to create a Cycle count entry and upload Cycle count quantity = 0 for these entries.

    Can you check mtl_cceoi_action_pub.import_CountRequest api?
Please make sure you carry out the following before calling the API.
    1. Create a Cycle Count
    2. Enter a Manual Cycle Count Entry.
    3. Run program "Perform Complete Cycle Count" to generate generate cycle count request
    4. Post the count Entries using the by calling the API using your Script.
    Check the following MOS notes.
Cycle Count Request Import (MTL_CCEOI_ACTION_PUB API) Fails When Using Serial Number Multiple Per Request [ID 1468453.1
Cycle Count Api Not Working For Scheduled Counts [ID 786497.1]

  • How can I specify the PARTITION name at the time of data load?

    Hi,
I have a table with 4 partitions. By using SQL*Loader I'm going to load data into the same. While inserting the records it should go to the 2nd partition only.
Where should i specify the Partition name?
Please clarify me with sample code.
    Thanks.

Assuming that the partition is empty before the load, I would load the data into a temp table with the same structure as the partitioned table. After all the data is successfully loaded, exchange the partition of the table with the temp table using 'alter table ... exchange partition...'
Another question is, how is your table partitioned?

  • Bulk Load data without specifying column names in control file

I am totally new to the world of Oracle databases and am having some trouble doing some basic data imports from a csv file. I have a large amount of data in an excel spreadsheet (a couple hundred columns by varying numbers of rows from 2- several thousand) which I want to import into my Oracle 11g Database. Currently I am trying to use sql loader and specify the import syntax in the control file. From the examples I've seen so far, it seems you must specify the columns individually for what you are importing. This is simply not reasonable for several hundred columns of data.
Is there sql loader syntax (or a better method all together) to import a comma delimited csv or excel spreadsheet into an oracle database where it automatically generates a table and columns based on the data in the target import file? Even if I must first create the table in the database, my key issue is being able to generate the column names during import to match the column headers in the import file. I appreciate any help you could provide.
FYI here is my first meager attempt at importing a comma delimited csv, here is my ctl file:
    load data
    infile 'C:\filepath\mock_data.csv'
    into table allData
fields terminated by "," optionally enclosed by '"'
It says Syntax error at line 4. Expecting "(", found end of file.
I suspect there is more at issue here than a missing "("

You have to create the control file to map to the table.
Since you would already have created the tables, you could generate the controlfiles based on the table structures.
See the "unloader.zip" file under the Files link at http://asktom.oracle.com
-- it has scripts to create unload a table to a flat file and to create the SQLLoader controlfile to reload that data to another target database. It would be the second set of scripts that you can use.

  • Sql loader:loading data file name to one of the tabe column.

    Hi,
I want to load the data file name also to one of the table column.
    Table structure:
    File_Name varchar2
    Name varchar2
    Age number
    Data File Format:
    Vijay|24
    Anandh|24
    Senthil|26
In the above eg how to write a control file to load the data file name to the File_Name column of the table.
    Note:
The shell script will first pick up the data files to be loaded and calls the control file.
    Thanks,
    Vijay.

From a unix load perspective this is what we have done :
Create a control file (say load_data.ctl) something like
    LOAD DATA
    append
    Into table file_name_age
    File_Name constant '<FILENAME>',
    Name CHAR TERMINATED BY '|'
Age INTEGER EXTERNAL TERMINATED BY '|' )
in a unix loop do the following
    for i in `ls $LOADDIR` ; do
#Replace <FILENAME> with actual filename and create a temp ctl file
    sed s/\<FILENAME\>/${1}/g < ${CTLDIR}/load_data.ctl > ${TMPDIR}/load_data_${1}.ctl
    #load using temp file
    sqlldr / CONTROL=${TMPDIR}/load_data_${1}.ctl
    DATA=$i
    #remove temp
    rm ${TMPDIR}/load_data_${1}.ctl
    done
    Where
    ${TMPDIR}=your temp directory
${CTLDIR}=where your main directory for ctl files
    $LOADDIR=Your data directory

If we try to import/load data from .xls file with space in file name, for example "list of cattle.xls" instead "list_of_cattle.xls" it doesn't work. It reports the following error: "Load data into table TABLE_X from file list of cattle.xls. Task failed and load rolled back."
The only workaround is to rename the file name without spaces.

" Incompatible rule file. Duplicate member name rule file is used against unique name database."
I am just guessing here as I have never used the duplicate name functionality in Essbase, nor do I remember which versions it was in. However with that said I think your answer is in your error message.
Just guessing again.... It appears that your rule file is set to allow duplicate member names while your database is not. With that information in hand (given to you in the error message) I would start to explore that.

  • How to Load data for Inventory Organizations

    Hi All,
I have flat file containing data for following fields,
Organization Code, Name, From(Date), Location,Org Classification ,Primary Ledger, Legal Entity, Operating Unit ,Item Master Org,     Material Account,     Outside Processing,     Material Overhead,     Overhead,     Resource,     Expense     Transfer Credit     Inter Org Receivables,     Inter Org Payables,     Intransit Inventory,     Invoice Price Variance,     Inventory AP Accural,     Expense AP Accural(Operating Unit Level),     Encumbrance,     Sales,     Cost Of goods Sold,     Deferred COGS     Cost Variance,     Receiving Inventory Account,     Receiving Clearing Account.
Now i want to Load this data using API/Interface, any one has any idea which API's are present or any way of doing this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Prashant

I have tried winparrot for such loading and now i have a lot of macro to load data from Excel to forms or to any browser.
I do not have a macro for your needs nevertheless it should be very easy to make it.
You can watch on youtube its tutorials for Oracle EBS.

  • Input ready query is not showing loaded data in the cube

    Dear Experts,
In Input ready query we have problem that it is not showing the values which was not entered by throught hat query. Is any settings in input ready query that we can do to populate the loaded data on the cube as well as data entered through Input ready query itself.
    Thanks,
    Gopi R

    Hi,
input ready queries always should display most recent data (i.e. all green and the yellow request). So you can check the status of the requests in the real-time InfoCube. There should exist only green requests and maybe at most one yellow request.
In addition you can try to delete the OLAP cache for the plan buffer query: Use RSRCACHE to do this. The technical names of the plan buffer query can be found as follows:
    1. InfoCube\!!1InfoCube, e.g. ZTSC0T003/!!1ZTSC0T003 if ZTSC0T003 is the technical name of the InfoCube
    2. MPRO\!!1MPRO, e.g. ZTSC0M002/!!1ZTSC0M002 if ZTSC0M002 is the technical name of the multiprovider
If the input ready query is defined on an aggregation level using a real-time InfoCube, the first case is relevant; if the aggregation level is defined on a multiprovider the second case is relevant. If the input-ready query is defined on a multiprovider containing aggregation levels again the first case is relevant (find the real-time InfoCubes used in the aggregation level).

  • How to View the Loaded Data

    Hi,
I have loaded the data into an ODS from an External Flat file and executed the job. Can anyone guide me how to view the loaded data in the ODS ?
    Thanks

    Hi Madhu,
You can simply Goto Transaction LISTCUBE and give the ODS name -> Execute.
    Regards
    Hemant

  • Errors when loading data to ODS

    Hi,
I am getting the following dump when loading data to ODS
    whta might be the problem
    Runtime Error          MESSAGE_TYPE_X
    Date and Time          29.09.2006 14:26:52
    ShrtText
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
    What happened?
The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
    What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
    Error analysis
    Short text of error message:
    Test message: SDOK_GET_PHIO_ACCESS 001
    Technical information about the message:
    Message classe...... "1R"
    Number.............. 000

    Variable 4.......... " "
    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C
    "SAPLSDCL" or "LSDCLF00"
    "INTERNAL_ERROR"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
    Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
    "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
    supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
    Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

    Hi priya,
Not sure: check syntax in your Update Roules, also at level of start routine.
    Ciao.

  • How to load data to a cube from multiple infosources ?

    Hi friends,
How to load data to a cube from multiple infosources ? could u please answer this question .
    thanks in advance......

    Hi ,
say for example you need to load data to 1 cube from 3 info sources:
    1) You need to create 3 update rules for the Cube.
    2) Each time you create the update rules. Mention the name the name of the Info source. and create update rules correspondingly.

  • Dump when loading Data from DSO to Cube

    Hi,
i get a short dump DBIF_REPO_PART_NOT_FOUND when trying to load data from a dso to a cube. From DSO to DSO it works fine.
    any idea`s?
    thx!
    Dominik

the Dump occurs in the last step of the last data pakage in the DTP Monitor.
I checked the OSS note, but i don´t know how to check the kernel version.
Now i used another DSO for testing and i got another Dump with a different name.
After that i logged in again and it works with my test DSO data...
But still not working with the original one...
