Nano: Blank Screen, won't recharge, isn't recognized by my PC...HELP!!!

My nano is completely discharged. The screen is
blank no matter what I do (tried resetting, toggling
hold switch, all that jazz). Tried to recharge it,
but my PC doesn't recognize it for some reason. It
dosen't even recognize that the USB port is in use...
guess that's 'cause the nano needs to have some power
left to tell the PC that it's there. Anyway, been
plugged in to PC since I got home from school at 2:20
p.m. and still nothing. I WANT MY MUSIC BACK, BADLY!
Am I going to have to send it to Apple and have them
replace it? I'm well withing the warranty period,
so I know that if it's broken they will defeinetly
fix it, but that could take weeks, and if it turns
out that is really isn't broken, and I that I
could've fixed it, that would suck. I thought
plugging it in and resetting would work. Anyway,
someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Nevermind. I restarted my PC and, after about a minute or so, my PC recognized it and my iPod is now charging. Thank the Lord! I seriously thought it was broken or something. Anyway, anyone having similar problems, if you've tried everything thing else like me (read all topics, tried troubleshooting) and nothing else works, try this if you haven't already. If restarting the PC doesn't work, than the iPod very well may need to be serviced.

Brand new Nano 7g screen won't slide one music downloaded

I've bought a brand new Nano 7g, and once I've loaded my music the screen won't slide. I took it back and exchanged it, and the same thing happened, but it was fine before I loaded my stuff because I checked. I though it must be a duff batch, so I got a refund and went elsewhere, but the same has happened again, so it must be something I've done?

Enter your admin passwrod, not Wi-Fi network password.

After logging on you yahoo this am, my calendar and notepad are gone. When I click on them I just get a blank screen. I am not very computer literate and need help getting them back.

When I usually go into yahoo mail, there is an icon at the top left hand side to access my calendar and notepad. They are both gone, but there is a field in the bottom left corner that has the buttons. When I click on either one, I just get a blank screen. I've not updated by Firefox to a new version and can't imagine what happened overnight.

This sounds more like it's a temporary problem with Yahoo's mail website. My advice at this point is to see if this fixes itself within a few hours. If not, please come back (actually, do come back regardless and let us know if your problem is solved).

5th gen Video 30G isn't recognized by windows XP help!

I have a 30G video with the stock USB that has never had an issue until recently when i got the new iT7. The problem is that the iPod isn't recognized by my computer at all. when i connect it it brights up for two seconds as if i woke it up and then the light shuts off. it's still on but its not recognized. Neither iT or my computer. does anyone have anything to say about this or is having the same problems?

New IPOD. Downloaded SW from web. iT7. Neither computer nor iT will consistently recognize ipod. backlight flashes on and off intermitently, and apparently randomly, when connected. Has "do not disconnect" message most of the time. Reset lasts 1-2 seconds. Need to shut computer down and then go thru ipod reset dance to disconnect and do 5 "R"s again (and again). Could it be a factory bad cable??
Surely not! And..where the heck would I get another to test with...oh, buy one, no doubt? I see a lot of other folks with the same problem. Apple, are you listening?
Jobs, get it done! Anyway, been thru a lot of complaints here and as it says above, problem is NOT resolved.

So I'm scrolling through to pick out some tunes for the car ride, I plug my 'Pod into a Griffin iTrip (plugs into the car's 9v jack and transmits your music over the radio), and then everything goes wrong. My screen is showing black and then showing the Apple logo. I notice the brightness of the Apple logo is changing, as if electricity is surging unchecked through my iPod so I unplug it, but it is too late. The Apple logo shows for a few more seconds, then nothing. No sign of life.
Attempted resuscitation was unsuccessful (recharge, reset, etc. including everything from Google and the Apple website).
The screen is blank. My computer doesn't recognize the 'Pod when it is plugged in (suggesting it is fried?). Has this happened to anyone before? Any ideas?
I am sad. Please help.

this is what i'm afraid of, except for 2 things (based on 2 assumptions, which may be totally unfounded):
1. wouldn't the iPod have died instantly, like a blown fuse?
2. shouldn't the iPod, an expensive bundle of electronics, have some sort of voltage regulator to prevent this?

This problem usually occurs when the iPod is interupted during the update or restore process.
Try putting the iPod into Disk Mode...

My iPhone 3GS has blank screen, won't turn on

I updated to iTunes 9.2 (on Vista); went fine. Backed up iPhone; went fine. Then, attempted to update to new phone OS. It downloaded the whole OS then started the install. In the middle, iTunes displayed an unknown error message telling me it couldn't finish the Update. Now, my phone is black and will not go into DFU mode. I have restarted my computer, done a repair install of iTunes 9.2. Tried all the different USB ports on my computer. Nothing works. Is there any solution?

I recently sent a really really long iMessage and now when I open my messages app I just get a blank screen. My divide isn't frozen its just not displaying any messages and such

I sent my gf a really really really long txt msg of the emoji heart just repeating its self like 1000000 times and now the messages app doesn't work. It's not working on her phone either. Any solutions?

My iPod nano 5th generation won't work on my windows 8.1 laptop,help?

Ok last year I got my first Toshiba laptop for Christmas and had my iPod nano since 2010. The iPod was fittied in perfectly when I first got the laptop and there was no problem with it until a few days ago it wasnt able to recognize the device at all. I tried uninstalling iTunes, turning off the laptop and putting the ipod in plus taking it out god knows how much, it still wouldn't recognize the device! Ive never seen it to fail although we have an old Windows XP computer and there was no problem regonizing it but I prefer to have the iPod on my own laptop computer so I can install purchases easily! Can somebody please tell me how to solve this problem?!

My email screen won't orient to landscape on my IPad. Help

Hi. My Ipad is two weeks old and I noticed the other day that it is no longer orienting the email page to the lanscape position. Lanscape works in all other aspects of the IPad. Help!!

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

WDS Capture Image Blank Screen with Cursor

Hey everyone, happy Friday and Happy Sysadmin Day!
Not super happy for myself unfortunately! I'm having a problem with a Capture Image in WDS. I have a Sysprepped Dell 6440 running Windows 7 x64.I've created a Capture Image in WDS from a boot image with drivers injected and without drivers injected, but every time I boot from PXE, it gets to the windows loading screen, and then it just shows a blank screen with a cursor.I'm using Microsoft's OpenLicense ISO as a base for the boot.wimI can't find any solution that works. I've tried mounting and unmounting the WIM, restarting WDS, etc. This is getting really frustrating as I'm so close to having these images ready.The blank screen won't do anything, won't open a cmd with Shift+
F10 or anything. I've also tried booting on a different machine and it does the same thing.Any suggestions are...

Apple TV connected to TV and I have blank Screen...
